Andy Roberts loathes one of the senior accountants at the firm she works at, but when the business goes under and she loses her job, he offers her a position to work for him at his new company. Being a single girl, alone in the city and out of options, it’s an offer she can’t refuse. Andy never thought she'd see the day when she was working for the sexy, mostly infuriating, Dylan Ryder. She arrives on the first day of work at an address that is apparently his apartment. Seeing Dylan at his front door half naked is not the impression she thought she’d receive on her first day of work. With their opinions clashing and attraction skyrocketing, something’s gotta give. Lines are drawn and rules are broken when this feisty couple mixes business with pleasure. When the secret Dylan is harboring is brought to light, Andy’s world implodes all around her. Could Andy be out of a job or does Dylan have her exactly where he wants her? On her desk.

This was a fun and quick enemy to lovers’ romance. Andy and Dylan both worked for an accounting firm. Andy in an HR capacity and Dylan is a whiz with numbers. Yet there was always something about Dylan that seemed to rub Andy the wrong way. Needless to say, Andy would try to avoid him at all cost.
When the company that they worked for was bought out by another all the employees were laid off. It was then that Dylan recruited Andy to come to work or him at his new startup doing the same thing. The only thing was that they would be working out of his apartment.
Let’s just say they got off to a rocky start when on her first day on the job she was greeted at the door by Dylan and his sleep over. Not what Andy was looking for with her new job so there were some quick rules made to end this.
I'd be doing this book a huge disservice if I failed to mention how much I loved Bridie, Andy's pet pig and how cuddly she was!!
Fast forward a bit and things are humming along and Andy and Dylan are working well together. The longer they work together the more comfortable they become too. It didn’t take long for this to ignite into some pretty hot chemistry. And it was only a matter of time before things got more complicated as their insatiable taste for sex leads to an unexpected pregnancy.
Would this pregnancy lead to their breakup? Or would it be embraced with a HEA?
Andy works for an accounting firm and she loves her job except for one of the other employees Dylan, no matter how sexy he is. He criticizes everything from how she prepares her tea, to how she dresses, her love of the color pink, and her pet pig Birdie. The last thing she expected when the company was taken over and she lost her job was that he would offer her a job.
They end up working out of his apartment and the sparks between them ignite but will they be able to balance both their personal and business relationships especially once Andy finds out about his secret?
The chemistry between them is hot, their banter humorous and the push/pull is enough to give you whiplash at times. This is the first book I have read by this author and I would read her other stories. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
BETWEEN THE SPREADSHEETS was a quick easy read from author Nicky Fox. An intense, emotional read that gives the reader everything that they could want. Andy and Dylan were really likeable characters who just couldn't get their "act into gear" when it comes to having a relationship.
Andy lost her job, and unsure of what to do, she decides to take Dylan up on his job offer. It's not instant attraction between the two, but the chemistry is definitely there. There is one problem though - Dylan is a player, it's only one night stands for this man. Andy wants more - can she tame this man and make him her own?
A great read, story line flowed really well and the characters were likeable.
Between The Spreadsheet is an entertaining story. It is the story of Andy and Dylan.
Andy works with Dylan at an accounting firm, but Andy losing her job. Andy finds Dylan attractive, but aggravating at the same time. When looking for a new job, Andy gets offered a job working for Dylan. Dylan's new company is located in his apartment. What will the future hold for Andy and Dylan?
Between The Spreadsheet is a Romantic Comedy. This story has fierce chemistry between Andy and Dylan. I loved the banter between them as well. Between The Spreadsheet is an enemies to lovers. This story is a captivating and quick read. It is well written, has interesting characters, romance and humor.
I was really looking forward to this book coming out and I wasn't disappointed! ❤️ It was an extremely enjoyable, well-paced quick read and I didn't want to put it down. I loved the story of Andy and Dylan from beginning to end... from their feelings towards each other and story throughout the book, to the comedy and banter and the times I laughed out loud. And how can I forget Birdie? Seriously...read it and see what I mean! 😂 I can't wait to see what the author has got up her sleeve next! ❤️😘
Andy and Dylan have an instant attraction but cover it by dislike. This book was written very well for being a quick read. Even though it covered a lot of time, the angst, feelings and pull between the characters was spot-on. It never seemed rushed and it was very good story. This is my honest review for a book I volunteered to read
I loved reading Andy and Dylan's story. Although I'll admit I hated Dylan a few times. I Loved the banter between them, the little back and forth and how Andy stuck up for herself and knew what she wanted. it was a joyful read with enough sweetness, romance and sex to keep you on your toes. another great read by Nicky Fox.
this book was really good! she just got fired from her job. a guy offers to be her new boss. he is a player and only does one night stands. will she be able to work for him? read to find out what happens.
This was a cute read. I really enjoyed it. Although there were moments I wanted to smack Andy. The first couple of times Dylan would make her angry, she ran... he wouldn’t say something, she ran. He didnsomething, she ran but I’m glad she finally stopped.
This was my first Nicky Fox book and loved every second of it. Ryder and Andy have such a great chemistry but they have difficulty with the finer parts of a relationship which causes little fights. The book is well written and the characters are great.
Firstly the story's is a light gloss over, way more depth required. Secondly "andy" gets on my bloomin nerves, keep bursting into tears all the time, and throwing a paddy. I found her very annoying and a bit dim and ditzy. I think he could do better lol
Amazing and super funny!!! I not going to spoil it but the ending was the funniest part. “ the drive the hospital” was one for the books- pun intended. A must read
This was my first Nicky Fox book and I must say, I was impressed. The story was pretty original. Andy and Dylan are co-workers. A series of events leads Dylan to start his own Accounting company and he brings Andy on to work in an HR capacity. Andy and Dylan are complete opposites and really rub each other wrong from day one. Yet under the surface, they both burn for the other person.
Between the Spreadsheets is a contemporary romance with an enemies-to-lovers vibe. I wouldn’t really classify it as that though because the characters didn’t hate each other. Instead they used distain and traded barbs with one another to camouflage their instant attraction. It’s written in duel perspectives. As a quick read, the plot progressed fairly fast and really, I didn’t feel like any one scene was dragging on. Andy and Dylan really had great chemistry and as the story progresses, the romance got smoking hot. As hot as they were together, they also had me cracking up at moments with the banter they exchanged. Both characters were extremely enjoyable in their own right but honestly their combination is what sold me on the story. When it came to relationships, neither of them could get their shit together until it’s almost too late making their relationship slightly more realistic then other romances. I plan to read more by Nicky Fox and would definitely recommend this story as a 4-star read since I thoroughly enjoyed Between the Spreadsheets!
Between the Spreadsheets is an enemies to lovers. I loved the storyline and development of Andy and Dylan, but I felt like I had whiplash while reading these two. Their relationship was a constant back and forth, I just wanted them to get their stuff together! I found myself mad at both at one point or another with their actions and choices. I would have liked to have seen Andy stronger when it came to Dylan as she ran back quickly to him, but I could see her trying to protect herself. I did really like the ending and how it all came together! I also loved Dylan's perspective at the end, I wish there was more from him throughout the book!
