Disturbing- it is an actual horror / psychological manga, not a "romance" with a few unsettling scenes.
The artwork is brilliant and fits the tone of the story.
No blushing maidens and stumbling of heart when the two main characters "finally hold hands".

I am definitely going to check out Nishin's other works.

this was.. this was bad? and not because of the rape or gore scenes but just.. horrible that i wish i never read this but i did.

i understand that everyone is different but i didn't feel sick to my stomach and i was bored, wondering when the good stuff was going to come in because even though it's dark.. i expected an ACTUAL story like it's a story but a BAD one and nothing good at that, i'm pissed.

there could've been an explanation on why the guy started killing animals first and then people, y'know? was it trauma or what.. is he just crazy like that? it gives nothing so idk why the author made this and idk why ANYONE thinks this is even good.

Reminded me alot of the book "audition". Creept me out and some ppl sure are crazy. I didnt feel like we got a full on explanation to the characters tho. I want to know why one of the guys is killing ppl? would been nice with a bigger background story than just "he does, he also killed animals when he was a kid. He born crazy"

A ver, que es un manga de horror bastante gráfico. Por eso, su puntaje es alto porque, claramente, cumple por lo que vine -por morbo- aunque haya sido grotesco.
Realmente no recuerdo los nombres de los personajes pero tenemos a Protagonista1 y Protagonista2. P1 por salvar a P2 de unos bullies (que eran amigos de P1) queda discapacitado y con epilepsia. Cuando pasó este accidente, los padres de P1 se desentendieron de él y lo dejaron a su suerte. Por eso, P2 -de familia adinerada- empieza a ser responsable de él hasta la actualidad. Aunque P1 lo odia y lo sigue culpando por todo.
Es una historia corta así que uno no tarda muchas páginas en enterarse que P2 es solo apariencia, que ese doctor amable que cuida a su amigo esconde algo DEMASIADO turbio, y la aparición de uno de esos bullies del pasado, ahora policía, va a complicar todo. No solo por el caso que tiene que investigar sino que por su aparición P2 como que pierda totalmente la cabeza y empieza a dañar físicamente a P1, es decir, deja de fingir ante él.

Lo que NO me gustó es que hiciera a P2 como violador, saben. El policía cuando aparece dice que P2 desde niño mostraba gusto por hacer y ver sufrir a otros y creo que eso debería haber sido el foco, sin incluir lo sexual.

Pero el final me gustó, porque es que no sé cómo terminó. ¿Esa escena final es de verdad o es su imaginación? Nunca lo sabré.

i really hate seeing drugs in manga because apparently no one in japan has ever heard of drugs and it really shows. its frustrating because i can see this being great if only the author could be a little more specific and realistic about the drugs. its a central part of the story! i dont think thats a lot to ask.

also some of the art is fucking hilarious, with bran's face in particular looking like ༼ง=ಠ益ಠ=༽ง in some panels. this is supposed to be a super dark edgy ass story about a yandere cannibal but sometimes the art completely distracts from the darkness im supposed to be immersed in.

the gore is fucking intense. not to act like this epic edgelord or anything but its extreme even for me. if youre even a little bit averse to gore i would avoid this one entirely because the story is simply not that engaging. its not worth the discomfort.

Well it was bad-

I liked the art, it really suits this title, but it was just boring. The last 20 pages were the only interesting ones. It was gory and disgusting (That was the point) but it wasn’t really interesing. Maybe I’ll try other works from this author.
