This is one of the most practical "practitioner text" I have read for creative writing teachers. Many practical and ready to use lessons in Albright's CW 101. I revisit this text frequently in my own CW unit planning :)
A well-written guide on how to teach creative writing to yourself and potentially to others. Full of insights and relatable advice, Albright shares some of his tried and true teaching techniques.
I am taking on a creative writing class this semester and am really looking forward to it. This book has some great ideas that I am definitely going to try and it also gave me some things to think about in terms of what I would like to cover this semester.
An excellent introduction to creative writing. I plan to use many of the techniques and prompts with the students in my creative writing class next fall.
