Just ok
She always has had a crush on her older brother's best friend and hasn't seem him on years. She starts Harvard and he is a professor there. There is a Part 1 where they are at Harvard and a Part 2 where they are both I the business world and he is her boss.
The story was ok. I just could not relate to the characters.

I have to admit that I had no idea really what this book was about. I jumped into it without reading the blurb because I usually enjoy pretty much everything this autor has published. This book was no expception. It actually was one of the best books I've read by this author.
This is the story of Adeline and Landon. This book is broken up into 2 parts.
Part 1:
Adeline is the little sister of Landon's best friend. She is also about 7 years his junior. Landon is a professor now and he is teaching at the college that Adeline is going to attending. They run into each other, and Adeline makes it her mission to seduce Landon. She's always had a crush on him, and now that she's an adult she plans on taking what she wants. They both promise that it will only be for one night. There are too many factors making impossible otherwise. But Adeline is not a woman easily deterred. And Landon is finding hard to forget her. Thus begins part 1 of their fobidden affair and what happens when things get out of control.
Part 2:
Well, as for part 2, I just don't want to give too much away because it will spoil it for you. I will say that this part follows both Landon and Adeline 10 years later, and where they are in their life.
I really enjoyed this book. Yes it was all kinds of hot and steamy, but it didn't take away from the story. This story was really well written with humor and sex and angst perfectly blended together. I have to say that I enjoyed the second part of the story more than the first, but I think that is because they have both grown and matured and it showed. They came together at the right time in their lives, and they were able to work their issues out like adults and make decisions together. Even when it seemed like the universe was against them, they persevered and I loved that about this story.

Quick read that packs a sexy punch. I am not huge on teacher/student romances. Extracurricular is full of sexiness. Landon and Adeline know each other from their childhood. Landon is her brothers friend.
She is back for school and he is a professor where she attends. One night leads to many.
I won't go further into detail in fear that I may ruin the storyline. Quick and excellent read!!!

Wow....Extra Curricular by D.G. Whiskey takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotional angst, forbidden pleasures, dirty secrets and all empowering love. This author has always know how to grab a reader's attention from the very first page and Extra Curricular is no exception. I am not normally a fan of student/teacher alliances but this book is beautifully written and you will love the characters. Even though Landon and Addy are professor and student they have known each other for years. Landon was Adds's brother Nicks best friends and she had a childhood crush on him. They seven year age difference makes it easier to understand the attraction. This book is written in 2 parts....the first attraction and trust between the characters and then 10 years later. I love this authors way of setting up a storyline and his character development. Even his secondary characters are well written and add so much. This book will hook you in from page one and not let you go until the fabulous finish. You will definitely enjoy this author's work and should take a chance with any of his work.

This was my first book from DG Whiskey and I will definitely be back for more! This story was hot, sexy, intense and full of passion! I felt the chemistry with Landon and Addy from the very start and it just kept building. DG does a great job of character development and the writing is excellent. The story captures your attention in the first few lines and takes you on a roller coaster ride– from the forbidden love, sexual tension and stolen moments to the sweet, tender and touching moments. Absolutely loved this book!

This was a wonderful, sexy, short read. My first book by this author and definitely want to read more. Adeline has lusted after her brother's best friend, Landon, for years. When she starts Harvard, where he's a professor, Adeline is a distraction Landon could lose his job over. That's just the beginning for these two wonderful characters.Their journey begins there and I couldn't put this book down until the very end. This was a hot and sexy read that flows flawlessly. A definite MUST READ!!

This is my first book I've read by D.G. Whiskey, and I can't wait to read others.
Everyone who has an older brother knows that there is that one friend that you've watched.
What happens when Addy finally gets a chance with him? Hotness!
I loved the way Addy and Landon interacted together, and I think their chemistry is amazing. I love how smart Addy is! Girl Power! Add a little bit of "Sir" thrown in for good measure- swoon.

I liked it BUT

I really enjoyed reading this story, it was entertaining, had the right amount of angst, lots of sexy time and I loved both main characters
Nevertheless, would have given 5 🌟 review if Extracurricular , the book title didn't finish at 47% of the book . Yep, it does , because then at 48% there is another book called Shaken: A Football Romance .
I have been reading about book stuffing lately and this book fall into that criteria.

I was actually really liking it right up until part two when I saw there was a ten-year gap. 9 times out of 10 I end up hating that in the story. It's aggravating how quickly they get back together and just brush past everything that happened before.

Addison has had a crush on her brother's best friend, Landon, for so long and now that they are both at Harvard she sees a chance. Landon is staring out his teaching career at Harvard and the last thing he should do is hook-up with Addy, but when one night turns into something they both want more of it's hard to walk away. While that should be the end of it, it's not and the two have a lot of growing up to do in order to appreciate what they have found with each other and end up going separate ways for ten long years. Ten years should have gotten them over the other, but a new job for Landon brings him back in to Addy's life and this time nothing can make him walk away, unless she tells him to leave. While it starts off very hot and seemingly about the hook-up Addy and Landon have depth that goes beyond the bedroom if they are strong enough to embrace the relationship regardless of others thoughts. The both know it is a bad idea but decides that if the only sleep together one time and keeps it between the two of them it is OK. Adeline has had a crush on Landon since she noticed boys, he is her older brother's friend. This story is steamy all the way through and is aimed at those readers who like a lot of sex. For me I skimmed all that hoping the story line would at least be substantial to keep my interest and it was. I enjoyed their journey through college and the business world while skating around each other. First it was the rules of college and professor then the corporate world of not fraternising with a colleague. A hot read and I certainly enjoyed the ending.

I'm a huge fan of DG Whiskey and Extracurricular doesn't disappoint.
This is a short steamy professor/school girl HEA romance book that will have you squirming in your seat.
