Love in the Trenches
Seven is caught in the middle of a love triangle and is stuck battling between who her heart loves and keeping her family together. But not even the realization of finally having a family could make Seven forget the flaws that Hassan possesses.
No matter how much Seven tries to convince herself that she's sticking around for her family, real love can't be denied. After all you can't help who your heart loves and for Seven that is her first love Drama.
Drama isn't the type to chase after no woman not even the only woman that he's ever loved. As much as he wouldn’t like to admit it, Seven made her choice when she decided to leave and make things work with Hassan. But what happens when something causes Seven to come back to Jersey for good? How would Drama react finding out that she didn't come back by herself? Can Drama finally put his pride to the side? They say if something is meant to be than it’ll find it’s way back to you, but would that be the case for Seven and Drama?
Yaya and Asim relationship has officially ended for good. Even though Asim will always love Yaya he knows that him marrying Kadeejah is something that the strong willed Yaya will never forgive him for. To Asim he has no choice but to try and make his marriage work since it's obvious Yaya has moved on with her life. But when your heart doesn't hold love for a person you can't force it. Asim made his bed and now he’s forced to lay in it. Can him and Yaya at least find some type of common ground for the sake of their child?

So much excitement going on in this book.These characters have really grown on me throughout these different series,well most of them anyway.Kadeejah is just as desperate and despicable as ever and whatever happens to her she deserves.And Shadi,lawd why 🤦🏽♀️ Hassan was the scum of the earth and I only wish he was handled sooner him and his broke bully of a cousin.What they did to Seven had me wanting to shed real tears and Sin definitely didn’t deserve that.I don’t know if things will ever work out for YaYa and Asim but I’m rooting for them.I’m glad Young was able to change for the better because Dia deserves it.Fallon and Wali are still my favorite couple and nobody better mess with them lol.Same with my young boy Drum and Tyra.I hope Seven is able to overcome all she went through and get her life in order.As usual,very good read.Five stars doesn’t do it justice!

Love in the Trenches
This was a good book with good editing & sentence structure. The characters & the plot were very believable. I loved the relationships between the characters (Seven, Fallon, Yaya group) & their boyfriends/husbands. Of course, it wouldnt be a realistic read without the jealous, scheming, ratchet outsiders trying to mess up everything. My least favorite characters were definitely Hassan & Hakeem, but I will let you form your own opinion of them. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there is a part two! There is so mich going on in this book until I felt there was no way possible for anymore drama. Well I was wrong, the author gives you a sneak peak into the next book & it seems just as juicy. Ready for it to drop.

Who do you want in the trenches with you!
I have so many emotions after reading this book, I don't know whether to be mad, sad, angry, happy, disappointed, or relieved!!!! Now Hassan is definitely a BAN he pissed me off all through this book and he needs to get dealt with no saving grace from nobody!!!! Seven just can't win for nothing and she just keeps getting knocked down put some how manages to get back up in her feet and I know her current situation, she will bounce back. Jamal/Imad loves his momma and is protecting her even though she thinks he hates her. Now that Yaya is funny and when she makes a promise, Boy does she deliver. Can't wait for book 2!!!

She did it again 5🌟!!
The drama continues. I loved this book. Once I started reading, I didn’t want to stop. Seven can’t seem to catch a break and all she wants is to be happy. Drama is trying to be the man for her, but there are always haters around trying to prevent that. Asim and Yaya have so many obstacles in their way of getting back together. This author never disappoints and her stories are never predictable, just when you know what to expect, she throws a twist in there. I can’t wait for the next part to see how things play out. Another great job!!

That book was awesome. Poor Sev, first her parents did her dirty then the situation with Hassan and Drama. Smh. I am praying and hoping Imani is really Drama’s. Hassan really played a dirty ass game. He is way too grimes!! The situation with Deej, Asim and Yaya, oh boy that’s a brute mess too. Asim is in a very bad predicament. I don’t like Deej, too many secrets!!! On to part 2 to see how the rest of the drama unfolds!!! Great read!!! Well written! Page turner for real!!!

And the drama continues and it's not what I expected at all. Held my attention from beginning to end and had my emotions all over the place. This book had so many twist and turns and the suspense had me wondering what's next. Loved the storyline and plot and still loving these characters. Can't wait to see how this all unfolds for Seven and her situation and Asim and his scandalous wife. Needing PT 2 of love in the trenches.

This book kept me intrigued from beginning to end and I just couldn't put it down. I loved the writing for this storyline. I'm rooting for Drama and Seven to get back together. Hassan needs to be dealt with asap. I was shocked to find out that Kadeejah has been messing with Asim father this whole time. Can't wait for the truth to come out about baby Amir paternity. Excellent book cabt wait for part 2.

I enjoyed some parts of this story. Then other times I was annoyed. There were to many characters that were the same, the only difference was their name.
Other than that I got tired of the five page monologue from everyone. Somethings do not need to be explained, just have the characters speak for you.

Review of Love In The Trenches
This book was all that and then some. That read was so good, I hated to see the end.
Kahdeeja done got herself into something that she may not be able to get out of.
Haasan is on borrowed time, so he better chose wisely. Seven needs to get herself together. What happened is not her fault. Part 2 is sure to be explosive and I can’t wait until release day. #BKP

This book was a good read. I feel so sorry for Seven it seems as though she can't catch a break and I hope that she can get herself together and her and Drama can be happy again. Now Yaya is hurt but if she can talk to Asim and forgive him maybe they can get back together. Asim isn't going to stop loving Yaya and I hope in part 2 he gets his life in order so he can be with the love of his life Yaya. I can't wait to read book 2 to see what is going to happen next.

First of all....I like how this book picked up where you left off. Really good work. I can't believe the end! I thought he was gone. Then poor Seven. And Sin. Hassan needs to OD at the hands of Drama. Deej just need to let it go.I can't get over the baby roach😂😂. Can't wait for part 2!

Great story !!
Even though there a lot of characters and storylines.. everything makes sense and flows. Love the ladies relationship and loyalty. Hasaan is out of control and Seven acts lie she cant see the forest for the trees. Cant wait for Kadejaahs secret to come out. Reunited with old friends and that ending was surprising to say the least. On to Part 2

Emotionally charged read!
This read is an awesome read. Due to the backstory, for me I believe it dragged a little. It did pick up for me once I connected the character Suni to Shadi. One click stalkers. This read is still worth your time.
