No planet. No hope.

Quinn Neen and his friends have survived the uprising and the ruthless Fosaanian leader’s attempt to kill them, but the galaxy is still hurtling toward war. With just a few days before Quinn starts his mandatory military training, he plans to spend the time with Mira, the Fosaanian girl he’s in love with. When a mysterious message forces them on a journey to an isolated planet named Reyet, Quinn’s plans quickly change.

A coup on Reyet throws everything into chaos, leaving Quinn and Mira evading enemies they know, and some they don’t, including the planet itself. Now, time is running out for Earth, Fosaan, and Reyet, and there may be no place left in the galaxy that’s safe.

I've read a few alien/other planet books. This one was slightly different to the others as it wasn't focused on romance. This is a continuous series and you need to start with book one. There will be more books in this series.

Quinn and his fellow Earthers are looking for a new home. The last planet didn't turn out so good and choosing a new place is their only option. Reyet is a nearby planet which they decide to explore.

Mira heritage is brought into the light but all she really wants is to save her sister. She wants her sister more than she wants to lead her people but others have ideas for her future.
Ansun is leading the Fosaanian people. He is out of control and determined to become the true heir. This means trouble for Mira.

Finding a new home is tricky. The Earthers have some new people to integrate with and are still dealing with the brooding Fosaanian, Ansun.

I've read these two books back to back and really getting a feel for the story now. My favourite character is Mags the bird. It's so cheeky.

I always say this but for me, romance is my leading lady and therefore this book was just ok for me. There is a great community and the characters are dedicated to their causes. The author has created a realistic story about the unknown of the world. This will be great for the readers who are more interested in the journey rather than the love.

3 stars out of 5. Worth a look.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a bit slow for me compared to the first one. Life on Reyet was a bit different and interesting to read about the living conditions. I thought that Quinn and Mira would be closer but they were even more distant to each other. The team working together was one of the highlights for me. I received an ARC and voluntarily provided an honest review.
