Book 1:
Larkspur Cove
I normally steer well clear of Christian fics AND first person alternating povs and to be honest, for the first three chapters I was half-thinking about abandoning this book, but the start of the story was pretty powerful and very different to what I had been expecting.
This was a story where the romance was secondary to the plot. A proper suspense romance - not full of the usual (stereotypical) SEALs and Witness protection women - the characters in this story were 'real' and believable. I found myself worrying about Dustin and Andrea, and growing to admire Mart - who had a real job and worked hard. I loved the details about his work as well, and about Andrea's work. Little details that made me really care about the people. There was no stupid 'miscommunication' or misunderstandings. just a good story about everyday people who had everyday careers and everyday worries. The 'romance' was light and clean and all the more believable for that.
Five stars.

More wonderful stories by Lisa Wingate
I fell in love with Moses Lake in these books. I SO want to go vacation there, and meet the townsfolk. I love how the various local characters end up in each book. I read each novel, one right after another. I absolutely loved three of them, but just could not wrap myself around one of them, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Actually, I would give THEM 5 stars, 3 stars, 5 stars and 5 stars! It is amazing how different each one was, too, in their writing styles. Thank you, again, Lisa!

Moses Lake
All of the stories about Moses Lake tell a beautiful story about love. Well worth the read. The last story about Wildwood was my favorite. It took the longest to read and seemed to move slow but there were so many intricate details to weave together. It has the most beautiful and unexpected ending. Your heart will burst with tears and thanks because it reminded me what I need to remember everyday. God is good and for that I am grateful.

Wonderful collection, delightful characters & setting
Beautifully written collection; the stories are filled with humor, romance and even suspense with grace woven throughout. Each book is a unique story, but loosely connected to the others through the “character” of a fictional place. You will enjoy your time at Moses Lake.

More great narrative
Once I start a book or series by Lisa Wingate I cannot stop till the end. You don’t have to live in Texas hill country visualize her settings. The historical material woven into the fiction is also revealing. I get a strong urge to be able to discuss how she researchs the material.

This entire series is a page turner!
Gripping, sweet, engaging, romantic but not sappy, faith-filled but not preachy. The twists i didn't see coming. I couldn't wait for the end, but I also didn't want it to end. Loved every minute of it!

Awesome set of books
I've fallen in love with Lisa Wingate's stories. Each of these books could be a stand alone but why would anyone just read one of these stories when they can read all four!!

Great books!
This is a great set of books. I liked how each one was so different even though they had the same location. Although they are classified as romance, there was quite a bit of mystery and that made them really interesting. I highly recommend them.

I really enjoyed these novels
It's taken a while to read them all but it has been time well spent in the company of believable characters penned by an accomplished Christian writer.

Highly recommend..
Great easy reads series. Heart warming..I love the way Lisa Wingate entwines the characters from one book to the next..The last book in the series Wildwood Creek was my favorite.. Tugs at the heart strings for sue.. Absolutely recommend this series!!!

SCCl Hoopla E book 4 books in one. I have to wait til Feb 1 to get it. I have to wait until Mar. 1 to get again it is sooooooooooooooo long thought it would be consensed like the other 3 in one books. This one is 4 full length and very long books. 03/20/18 back to reading the 3rd book in this series. Finally got done with book #4.

Can I give this 10 stars?! Wingate weaves a superb tale, a tapestry full of sweet, sexy, sentimental and spiritual characters. The quotes introducing each chapter are especially revealing and endearing!

I really enjoyed all four books. Lisa Wingate is an engaging writer. Interesting storylines, a little romance, humor, mystery, and faith all make for a great series!
