I happened to love the book, Most Valuable Playboy. It was a delicious best pals to lovers tale and told oh, so well. We got all of the feels from Cooper's point of view and knew what was at stake for the each of these characters... the Bestie they were and how they needed each other.
In this quick novella, we have a bit of back story and see how both Cooper and Violet interact and with Violet holding back her crush since second grade. There are moments where there is a fine line of flirt and we know something will happen soon with them... it is only a matter of time...
You can read this before enjoying Most Valuable Playboy or add it to your experience and enjoyment of Cooper and Violet. Either way... it is a fun look at these people from Violet's POV.

This is a very mini-review. It was a novella, but an awesome prequel to a series I now need to go on and read. I loved getting Violet's take on her crush on Cooper, and how she'd just given up, knowing he probably wasn't interested, even though at times he might be a bit more flirty than seemed just a friendly thing. The way the ending went though, leading right up to where book one will start? Perfect way to get me hooked to read that book! Now I need the first book in this series!!

Adorable prequel to their real story - MVP! We find out how in love with Cooper Violet has been since she was a little kid. And how she tries to deny it. But of course once we read Cooper's POV in Most Valuable Playboy we find out that he's felt the same all the time!
If you haven't started with the series yet - do it now! Start with this one and then read book #1 - MVP. And then #2 MLTS.

I read book 1 back in August of 2018 and for some reason never read this one or book 2 well I am changing that now.
Normally I don’t remember much from books that far back because I listen to hundreds of books a year. But these characters came right back to me. I loved Violet and Cooper this is a perfect taste to introduce us to their story.

This is a novella introducing the first book in the series. Even though the next book can stand alone this novella sets it up beautifully. Our hero is the best friend of our heroine's brother. They have circled around each others lives forever. One night a kiss threatens to change everything. Or will it?

This book is so addicting I was sad it ended so quick. Now I need to get my hands on the next one.
Vi has loved her brothers bestfriend for so long. She has taught herself to be satisfied with just having him as a friend. Oh man the cliffhanger makes you want to know what happens next.

This was a cute and short little novella that gave us an inside look at violet’s crush on cooper. I wish it were longer!!! I would have loved a few chapters when they were really together

Violet has crushed on her best guy friend, Cooper, for nearly two decades but their friendship means too much to her to make a move and risk everything. They have such a sweet, fun relationship and I totally understand the hesitation to start something.
They are fantastic as friends and to lose that would be devastating. They are each other’s biggest fans and are always there for each other. I could feel a connection no matter how much they fight it. There are flashes of attraction and they have amazing chemistry. The sexual tension builds deliciously and I just wanted them to go for it!!
She is set on staying friends but when she helps him out buy winning him in an auction, his answering kiss changes everything.
Overall, Most Irresistible Guy is so much fun and a wonderful start to Copper and Violet’s love story! This novella is the perfect lead in to the next book, Most Valuable Player, and I loved it!
*Note: I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is fanstatic. She really brings this entertaining novella to life!

We know how to have fun and we’ve relied on each other over the years the way old friends, good friends do. Translation.

This was a really great little novella, and whilst I was just reading it to pass some time, and knock another book of my TBR, I really want to read the next book, the full book for Violet and Cooper now. *runs to TBR* This was fun and flirty and I really am a sucker to friends to lovers and brothers best friend books, and these two are both. Definitely recommend for a quick fun read, and am going to be looking for the full book now.

This is a sample, like what you'd download as a Kindle sample, to see if you want the whole book. It's billed as a prequel novella, and it's free. But it's really just an overly long, repetitious sample. The characters are fine, the setting and premise is fine, but I would expect a novella to be more like a short story, somewhat complete in itself. Not just a tease to get you to buy the first one in the series.

Cooper is the Most Irresistible Guy is a star quarterback for a local NFL team in the San Francisco Bay area. Violet is telling the story tells about a crush on him since second grade, but he is her brother's best friend and her friend too. She is a hair dresser; and volunteers to help in a charity auction where Cooper and several of teammates are up for auction dates. She comes to his rescue at the end of this preview of a series. It is an unsatisfactory story with no end but it is a decent tease for a new series of a sports star series.

Really fun and quick prequel to Most Valuable Playboy. I liked getting the "beginning" of things from Violet's pov, seeing Cooper through her eyes. I really loved that their friendship was so important to both of them!
