A shockingly raw memoir series of a young woman’s addiction to cocaine tells a raw, harrowing, and ultimately hopeful tale of the road from addiction to recovery.
This Amazon bestselling memoir series has been coined a modern-day "Sex And The City" meets "The Wolf of Wall Street”.
Like many New Yorkers, Dheep balanced a stressful corporate career with an unhealthy dose of cocaine and booze. Having moved from London to New York City, she knew the change wouldn’t be easy but she never expected to find herself doing lines of cocaine every morning before work.
Written in a unique and compelling voice that is raw and honest, this book is a popular story of her life in the corporate world as a cocaine addict before her whole career comes crashing down. Filled with “Sex And The City” style tales of drugs, money, and sex this book is a tell-all tale of life in modern New York City.
Conversational and feels as if someone I know is talking to me. A fresh voice. Witty and weary. Started it this morning and finished it same day. Looking forward to the next volume
This is REALLLLLLLY long book. But it seem interesting, it had me curious as to what was going on though I didn’t know what half the stuff meant inside of the book like Charlie. Then half way through the book I understood the meaning behind it and what it meant. Also, I kept saying Dheep? Then I realize this book is about the actual author and her life.
I had won this book through Goodreads giveaway for an honest review from the author.
I received this book as a goodreads giveaway. This was a very quick read. The pace of the book was rapid, and it wasn’t until I’d finished that I could take a breath and really digest the depth of the story. Set in New York it follows a young woman as she deals (or doesn’t deal) with addiction whilst pursuing a love affair. This won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I would recommend it.
This book was too long. But it seems interesting, to read and it had me curious as to what was going on though I didn’t know what half the stuff meant inside of the book like Charlie. It was an alright though, wouldn't read the second one.
