She’s out of a job. He’s a once-geeky, now incredibly hot, gamer god.

Catalina Richardson tries to do everything right, but technology keeps getting in her way. Like when she was in high school and texted naked photos of herself to her boyfriend. That cost her a scholarship and her reputation. And it ended the best relationship she’s ever had. Now fired from her job at a New York City news website — that politician’s dick pics weren’t her idea — Catalina’s back home on Palmira Island and runs into the one person she’s tried to forget: her ex-boyfriend and first love, Diego Rodriguez.

Diego’s living large. He’s the founder of a wildly successful video game startup, where fans watch him and his buddies play games for a living. Tech magazines say he’s one of the sexiest gamers in the world. But when Catalina walks back into his life one rainy Florida night, he knows that he needs to set aside his on-camera act. Because he’s not about to lose the woman he loves a second time.

Trouble is, someone’s trying to thwart Diego’s success and his fragile relationship with Catalina. Will he find out who’s sending him Catalina’s embarrassing old photos? And, will she trust him to make everything right, or keep running away?

This is a full-length, standalone novel with an HEA and NO cliffhanger. No cheating. It’s part of the Burning Secrets Series, but the books don’t have to be read in order.

This is another steamy romance from Tamara Lush, set on a Florida island where the rich vacation and the down on their luck deliver pizza. The story line involves high school sweethearts who broke up over a sexting scandal five years earlier. Now circumstances have brought them back together. He's making money hand over fist streaming video game playing and she's bringing the pizzas after being fired from her first post-college job. Lush writes erotic love scenes that will leave you fanning yourself.

I loved that the alpha male, Diego, is a gamer and not your typical business man. In addition, the storyline surrounding the main characters is great and the character development is good. Diego and Cat have a second chance, but will a "ghost" from their past ruin their one chance at forever. This is a new author for me, but I am looking forward to reading more. She drew me in from the beginning and kept me interested until the very end. I definitely think you should give this one a try.

This is a fantastic book! This book is a second chances book that is filled with feeling, love, trust and heat! The main Characters Catalina and Diego really drew me in and I felt like I was with them on their journey. I like that Diego wasn't your typical business man but a gamer! I loved that this book had a nerdy side to the characters. This author is pure talent!

As my first book of the Burning Secrets series, Hot Fix was a face paced and heartwarming second chance romance. So if you're looking for a quick and sexy read than this is the book for you. This author's remarkable storytelling had me hooked to Diego and Catalina's love story from beginning to end. One of the things that I love about this author's stories is that they relatable and don't have the typical formula that I've seen repeatedly in contemporary romances. I also found the storyline and characters very refreshing. The dynamic and chemistry between Diego and Catalina was heartwarming and highly entertaining. I just couldn't get enough of these two. Their journey towards forgiveness and redemption made this story even more compelling and difficult to put down. After reading this story, I am very excited to dive into the other standalone books in this series. Hot Fix is one second chance romance that shouldn't be missed!

Good thing it was a cheap purchase

Can’t believe this is the same author as the first book in the series— that one was creative, well written and a good story. This one was written in first person which I can’t stand. It sounded like 2 whiny teens going on and on about whether the other loved them. Amateurish. “I also haven’t slept hardly at all since Cata left.” What?! That’s the kind of writing you suffer through reading this.

This is book 3 in the Burning Secrets series. Cata and Diego's story. I enjoyed officially meeting these characters and reading what happen between them and with them. I loved that the leading man was a geeky hot gamer guy. All books in this series can be read as a standalone. The covers in this series are pretty cool too.
