The paranormal world just can't seem to cut Ren a break. Just when she thought she could finally settle into normal—well, relatively normal—life as the last of the dragon shifters with her four alpha mates, she finds her people on the brink of a supernatural war. The vampires have decided all shifter kind must be exterminated, and they've got the firepower to make good on that goal.
Ren's got plenty of fire of her own, of course. But she's only one dragon, and there are a whole lot of vampires. As she scrambles to protect all of her kin and figure up what the heck is up with the last of her mates, she can't help suspecting this challenge is more than she and her alphas can handle alone.
The secrets buried in the dragon shifter estate may hold the answer—but finding it will force her to question everything she thought she knew about this new world.
*This is the final volume of a steamy new reverse harem paranormal romance series intended for readers 18+. Expect sexy situations, intense action, and a quartet of alluring wolf, bear, jaguar, and eagle alpha shifters you’ll wish you could make your mates.*

The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 💙🖤💜💚 Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍 Character development: 😠😘🤓🥰 Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙 Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine:Serenity (a.k.a. Ren) - she is a dragon shifter with four alpha mates, who is just learning her place in the shifter world. She has special powers in addition to being able to shift into the only dragon in existence. She is fully mated to three of her four mates while the last one is still deciding what he really wants.
The Heroes:West, Nate, Aaron, Marco - West is a wolf shifter and is the one that is still deciding if he wants to be mated to Ren. He wants to do what is best for his pack. Nate is a grizzly bear shifter and is big and gentle. Aaron is an eagle shifter and is smart and honest. Marco is a panther shifter and is cocky yet honorable. He has had to fight many challenges to keep his alpha status.
The Story: Through the first three books, Ren and her alpha’s have fought many obstacles, including a mountain trek to get her power and find out what happened to her family. A tense meeting with the fae to make sure the fae punished those who killed her mother and plotted against her and kept the truce with the shifters, and many attacks by a group of rogue shifters who want to change the way things are done in the shifter world which includes killing the last dragon shifter, like they killed Ren’s fathers and sisters.
In this book the group faces both new and old foe’s when the vampires start working with the rogue shifters to go after the clans of shifters because they want the dragon shifter dead and the clans weak. I was going to give this book three stars because I do think that this series was a book too long, though there was so much going on in this book that I did enjoy it. I think the two middle books could have been made into just one. I wish more 4 book series would just be trilogies instead. I will give this one four stars, because the action was good and I liked the drama between Ren and West and how it all came together.
This book, like the first three, was told in multiple points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Felicity Munroe and Joe Arden. I love both of these narrators and wish this was done in duet narration with different narrators for each of the alphas. Though it was a fine listen even without that.
So, first let me tell you that this review is over the entire series. I read the first two books and then skimmed the next two because I just couldn’t do it. Honestly I felt like there just wasn’t a lot of character development and they lacked passion. I mean, West was cold and standoffish but it wasn’t even about him protecting his heart, he just flat out didn’t believe in her. Idk, it just bugged me. And I felt like she took so long because she “wasn’t ready”. I get that she was a virgin so obviously she’s not just gonna start having sex with all of them right off the bat, but idk I can’t explain it... I just expected more passion and relationship development that was in this. She’s in love with them and I just didn’t see much between them for her to already love them. And I would have liked for her to stand up and say hey I’m the damn dragon shifter, show me some respect. She grew up surviving on her own, I expected more strength from her. It’s not a bad read but definitely not something I would pay money for. But it was free on kindle unlimited so that’s a plus!
Amazing finale! I almost wish it wasn’t over! I’m going to miss Ren and all of her boys, especially Nate *swoons*! I loved how their story wrapped up though and can’t wait to read Eva’s next series!
My mood is a weird and very much alive thing. It's hard to explain how it works exactly. It's impossible to tell why a book works great at one moment and works not at all at another moment. I'm sure there were times I would have read this series and would have wondered why I was reading this. But it seems that right now the series came at a perfect time. Because from the very first book in this series I was hooked. I was therefore quite excited to see how it would end!
This last book in the series is by far my favorite. Of course firstly because it completes the character arcs and most of all the harem. I liked how Ren completed the bond with one guy in each book. It gave us time to get to know her, to get to know the four alphas and to see them interact and work together. It also gave each relationship the time to develop organically. Not once did it feel like something was forced. Everything happened at the right time and for the right reasons.
I also quite liked how this series never just forgot the human best friend. Of course, the situation is quite dangerous and Ren does attempt to keep her best friend out of it, but once the best friend makes clear that's not gonna happen she becomes part of the group. In this book the best friend even got a little side plot of her own that I quite enjoyed. But it was nice to see that Ren didn't burn all her bridges. She took a piece of her old life into her new one, no matter what people thought about it.
In this book we also get to see the full political game that has been played and is played. We met the vampires in the first book, the fae in the second book and we mostly dealt with the rogues in the third book. In this book Ren has to take all the pieces of the political puzzle and has to find a way to make them fit, to create the supernatural world she wants to live in. There's a lot of action in this book, but I like that in a way it's forgiveness and understanding winning the day in the end.
A boring ass ending to a boring ass series. I’m starting to feel like it’s almost impossible to get a really good book or series when it comes to RH. This book was beyond vanilla as hell. The leading lady was just so one note and incredibly boring and bland. All her men were basically the exact same personality. Nothing was really that different in any of them especially not the way they had sex with her. It was your basic and boring couple of tweaks of the nipples, four pumps and then supposed fireworks and then it was over. That was literally how every sex encounter went with every one of her mates. Super boring and vanilla. It annoys me when writers put in sex scenes and also sex scenes with multiple mates and they put in zero effort in those scenes. It’s just extremely lazy and I can’t stand it. Also, the main story itself couldn’t keep me interested. It was all very predictable and yet again I hate to say it but boring. 🥱 There wasn’t really anything about the series that I would recommend to someone else. I think it’s another example of a writer who likes to turn out a lot of books with quantity definitely over quality.
I love this series, and this is by far the best volume. The characters are more complex as the plot advances, the action is non-stop. For all fan of paranormal this is a must - all of the characters are strong, even those on the other side of the fence from the heros. The whole reverse harem theme is so much fun. The quality of the writing and the construction of this world are fantastic. I voluntarily received an ARC of this book.
I have been very into reverse harem fiction lately and while this is not the best of what I have read recently in that genre it is still quite enjoyable and a fun escape. I really like the characters and I feel like they are fairly well fleshed out and he story holds my interest. I like the fact that the guys are all different shifters as this helps to differentiate them from each other in my mind.
What a story! While I’m said that Ren and the guys story has finished I thoroughly enjoyed their journey! Here’s hoping for a spinoff! Maybe Kylie can get her own harem?
Flew through book 2 and I'm halfway through book 3, and I'm really enjoying this series. There are a few things that I don't love, but nothing that would make me quit.
The boys all have their own perfect personalities.
I think the only thing that I don't love about this series is the relationship with Kylie (which is such a small part). I think she either needs to be full pulled in or just not there. I love friend relationships in books and I think she could have done so much more with this as a side story.
Last book of the series. Concluded all plot points acceptably. A little more repetitive to the other three; however, the world building was better with this book. The author definitely went into more detail describing each empire. Super sweet happy ending but I zoned out a bit in the middle and if you ask me about this series next week i probably won’t remember much. It was a decent read in the moment though.
I just loved this whole series. It has everything I want in a Paranormal Romance Fantasy. Shifters, Vampires, Fae, spice, fighting, and friendship.
Ren finally mates with West and now she is ready to be the true dragon shifter. Ready to fight the Vampires and the rest of the rogues. And ready to ensure a new alliance with the Fae.

I haven't really enjoyed the last two series that I have listened to by Eva Chase, so I'm stepping away for a while. I have another series of hers set to queue on my audio books, but I'm going to put it off for a while.
Se tutta la serie avesse avuto questa impronta sarebbe stata decisamente su un altro livello. Se non altro è una degna conclusione e la lettura ideale per chi vuole approcciare il genere reverse harem ma è scettico.
One of the best ends of a story I've read. It's also a bonus that this one featured my favorite love interest, West. So, not too surprised it was a 5 star read for me
This series was mediocre. If it wasn’t all free on Audible right now I wouldn’t have continued after reading the first book. Characters could use more depth
Work kept me away from this one so it took forever to read but it was fun!
This series has been lackluster most of the time. There was a bunch of interesting things here, the shifters, the story, the vampires, the fae, and yet none were explored in a way that was satisfying or complete. Much of the story seems to be brushed off in the spirits of putting on yet another sex scene that read much like all the other ones have before.
BUT, despite that, it had its moments. It was still fun and action-packed. Things got solved so the conclusion felt pretty satisfying, there weren't loose ends just floating about like the author forgot or was too lazy to wrap them up, so that's always nice.
I was expecting more of this series as a whole but it wasn't a bad read. Besides, how bad can it be if you have dragons?
Book Four - the conclusion! Its good, books 1-3 were great, and this is a fabulous wrap up with some drama and conflict thrown in for good fun!! Don't mess with the Dragon Shifter!
When Ren turns 21 she thinks life is on the up and up.
24 hours later she has been kidnapped and told she is the sole dragon shifter with the responsibility to mate with not one, but FOUR alpha's to protect shifter kind.
I mean, they are all pretty hot, so it should be a no brainer, but there are a LOT of complications.
Like, why does Ren not know any of this? Where is her mother? And why are they being attacked?
Cue a series of events unfolding which expose Ren to the world she has been hidden from, and as her memory starts to return she starts to learn her dragon powers are truly part of her, and the alphas are working to earn her trust - or at least, three of them are.
With their own agenda behind the mating bond Ren is in for an adventure over the next three books ...
I'm pretty much duplicating this review for all three books, becaause they are a continuation of the same plot - and I loved them. Are they a tad predictable? Yes. Did that make them not enjoyable? No.
So go get your shifter loving self these books and enjoy!
I was very excited to get to read this book and find out what was going on with Ren and her mates. You can probably follow along without reading the preceding books in the series, but why would you want to give up the chance at all that shifter yumminess?
Serena and her four mates are still in deep doodoo. She has forged a bond with Marco, Aaron, and Nate; but West is still holding back. While they have beaten the rogues who have been trying to destroy their chance at unity, a new enemy emerged when vampires attack a shifter group near New York. The attacks spread and since the vampires are armed with weapons forbidden to shifters, many kin are being killed.
Serena and her mates must find a way to beat the vampires before more are lost. When Serena returns to her childhood home, the dragon estate, she realizes that the answer lies in the history left to her by her dragon family. Can she reunite the shifters with an old ally, now turned enemy, before it is too late? And will West give in to his real feelings and make Ren's bond with her mates complete?
I was given an advanced copy of this book. My review is voluntary.
I can totally see why a part of shifter community opposes having a dragon shifter on top. This seems just like the rise of a totalitarian government(Vamps’s concern are to some extent justified as well). She already started putting her friends and desires above the law(Her human friend among shifters), threatening those who complain about her disregard for the rules(e.g Felix the fox questioning why a human is allowed to be amongst them), finding loopholes in their laws and values for her benefit (not using guns), living in a mansion while other kin live in villages. For now she is just an adorable charismatic leader… If I were to write a sequel for this book it would be about her continuing to abuse her power more and more each day. God how I hated this book and its concept… But all in all it was fun to listen to while doing my daily tasks. Did not need so much concentration and was entertaining. So yeah… I would probably listen to more audiobooks like this🥲. P.S: Once more for good measure, I hate you neon coloured hair Kylie.
I CANNOT GET OVER THE FACT THAT THEY REFUSED TO USE GUNS AND FIRE AGAINST THEIR ENEMIES WHO WERE LITERALLY SLAUGHTERING THEIR PEOPLE WITH THE CLICK OF A TRIGGER!?!?
AND THEN THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO BE UPSET AND ANGRY THAT THEIR PEOPLE WERE BEING KILLED BY GUNS!?!? YEA NO SHIT BUDDY, YOU DON’T BRING CLAWS TO A GUN FIGHT!
ALSO THAT WHOLE ROMANCE THING BETWEEN WEST AND REN!? LITERALLY GET FUCKED. I AM SO FUCKING SICK OF FMCS FORGIVING THE BEHAVIOUR OF GRUMPY SHITTY MMCS AT THE DROP OF A HAT! SHE LITERALLY BARELY STOOD UP FOR HERSELF AGAINST HIM FOR THE WHOLE SERIES BECAUSE SHE SENSED THAT HE CARED AND HAD COMPASSION AND LOYALTY!? WTF!? DOESNT MEAN YOU LET HIM WALK ALL OVER YOU. PUT HIM IN HIS FUCKING PLACE. AND THE 180 FLIP IN HIS CHARACTER WHEN HE SUDDENLY DECIDED THAT REN WAS ‘WORTHY’ AND THAT HE LIKED HER… GET. FUCKED.
IT LITERALLY GAVE ME WHIPLASH.
