Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.

He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.

He is a recipient the Tezuka Award for manga.

Although the golden rotation ages his body, the President withstands the steel ball and defeats Gyro, throwing him into the Atlantic. That moment triggers in Johnny a complete recollection of Zeppelli’s lessons and pushes him to perfect the golden rotation across dimensions, turning his master’s fall into the engine of his own evolution.

🐴 This awakening leads to the emergence of **Tusk Act 4**, the definitive form of the Stand. By acquiring the interdimensional golden rotation, Johnny generates the infinite rotation: a perpetual damage that clings to Valentine and D4C, destroying them cyclically. Not even dimensional jumps can save him; the rotation pursues him relentlessly and could only be canceled by an opposite rotation—something Valentine does not possess.

🐴 We also learn about the President’s past: the son of a soldier who embodied American values, marked by the story of the embroidered handkerchief his father protected with his life and by his refusal to betray his comrades. This origin contrasts with his apparent surrender when he hands Johnny a piece of Hot Pants’ flesh spray from another dimension and promises to return Gyro. However, his final action reveals his true nature: he tries to win the corpse using a gun obtained from another dimension.

🐴 Lucy Steel closes the volume with a crucial role: she is tasked with retrieving Gyro’s corpse from the water. At that moment, the effect of D4C that had been compressing the world around her ends, releasing space and marking the conclusion of the President’s metaphysical dominion.

To be very honest, if I were to be the most scared of any stand in the whole Jojo series, it would have to be Civil War. To have all my sins flashed in front of my eyes...goddammit, that should be really tough!
And the way Johnny turned this around! God, I really, really loved it!

Según GR, este es el libro mejor puntuado de todos los que leí en el año y entiendo perfectamente por qué lo es.
