James Frost is all work and no play. He’s made billions as the CEO of Frost, Inc. He can broker a deal between two pissed off Irishmen and the devil, and still walk away with a smile and not a wrinkle in his Armani suit. As his assistant, I’m faced with his dashing presence every day. Can you blame a gal for having a crush? So when he asks me to help him find his perfect woman, I throw myself at him. Only James Frost would never mix business with pleasure. He’s never looked at me in that way. I’m so mortified, I quit on the spot. But a freak accident leaves him with a few broken bones and amnesia, and me with a dilemma. I’m playing nursemaid, at his beck and call, until my two weeks’ notice is up. And that raise I never thought I would get from him might be on the table after all. But how far am I willing to go before my pride demands I cut bait and move back home to London?

Misti Murphy writes sweet and funny, sometimes frustrating and always swoony romantic comedies with just a teensy bit of angst.

When she's not writing she lives in an imaginary world full of happy humans, glitter, and unicorns.

Not that being a mother of four, plus four fur kids isn't practically the same thing. Except when they steal the Tim Tams.

(Kangaroos are practically unicorns, right?)

Oh Boy! If ever two people needed to be honest with each other, it's Myra and James. But they get it together... eventually...

If ever there was a book that made me want to get the two leads and smack their heads together, it was this one... talk about frustration - and this book has it in spades - it also has a lot of sizzle as well as a good dose of humour and some seriously laugh out loud funny moments.

Myra Edwards has spent the last five years as Personal Assistant to James Frost, owner and CEO of broker firm Frost Inc., It was supposed to be a temporary stop on the road to her goal of having her own bakery, but she fell in love and has stayed longer than she ever thought she would, hoping that one day James might see her as something more than a walking, talking Blackberry.

James Frost has spent the last twenty years totally focussed on work and very little time, if any, on a personal life, a fact his mother keeps harping on about and demanding he settle down and produce the grand-babies she considers her God-given right. But he's perfectly happy the way he is and Myra's about the only person he can stand to be around for any length of time. But, the company has a rule about personal relationships within it's ranks so that's a non-starter.

In a last ditch effort to make James see her as a woman, Myra kisses him at Paynt and Chloe's wedding, but his reaction isn't what she expected or wanted. She's been offered another job and it's obvious James will never see her as a woman, she can't carry on like this anymore, so she quits and the consequences are totally unexpected when James ends up with a broken leg, injured wrist, a concussion and short-term memory loss, which forces them into a situation heaven sent for their relationship to change, but...

I'm not going to give spoilers and although I enjoyed the story of Myra and James, mostly, their respective fantasies and their inability to communicate with each other on anything but a business level was frustrating and irritated the heck out of me. They spent most of the book taking two steps forward and ten steps back. By the time I reached the middle of the book, I was getting really impatient with them and just wanted them to get on with it. I really liked James' family, especially his sister Ronnie and I absolutely loved Spot, the goat, Ducky, the imaginatively named duck, but Simon, the female cat formerly named Cleo, stole the show and Alex got on my last nerve. Myra and James do eventually get their happily ever after, but there's a long, torturous and very convoluted road which includes a lot of over-thinking, misunderstandings and a wild goose chase (goose not included), before they get it.

Although I've got one of her books, I haven't read it yet so Misti Murphy is a completely new to me author, but I've read quite a few Tami Lund books and absolutely loved them all, until this one. I did like it, don't get me wrong, but the road to the happily ever after was seriously frustrating and went on way too long. I got bored with the protracted lack of progress and almost gave up, but in the end I was glad I stuck it out and have given this book 3.5 stars. I'll probably read it again... in a few years.

I've read the Sexy Bad series since the very beginning and without fault, they all drew me in like nobody's business. I laughed. I sighed. And i couldn't get enough of the Frost brothers and how they met their significant others. So of course, finding out that we'd get the story for James, the last bachelor brother, i couldn't pass up on that chance. I'm truly really happy that i did!

It was hilarious! I can't believe that we got to see Spot the goat again and see someone curse after it like it was the Devil reincarnate, and it only made me want my own very goat for myself even more pressing (apparently there's a bi-law in my area that forbids the owning of goats in rural sectors unless you live on a farm... who knew?) Myra and James are needless to say, amazing together. They've been together for 5 years as walking PDA and boss, but Myra simply can't just be the PDA that James seems to only see her as, and things get tricky right from the start when he suffers a concussion and loses his short term memory.

I wished there was more. I wish that this story wouldn't end because i honestly love this author duo together. They write something that is unforgettable and something that makes you pay attention. Seriously, who could forget goats, ducks and falling off a deck railing? Absolutely worth every moment reading this book and i can only hope that we get the youngest Frost's story - the elusive sister that we don't get to hear much about.

Don't you hate it when men are so clueless to what is right in front of them the whole time. James is that man. Everyone around him can see the chemistry between him and Myra but just standing back waiting for it to slap him in the face. That cat so funny. I love how there is a goat, duck, and now a cat, crazy fun and hilarious. Animals always bring a story to life with their antics.

ARC for an honest review!

I so loved this final piece of the series and conclusion to the Frost brothers. There were some nerves as I read about these two but I got through it really fast and enjoyed the rest of the book. Myra is amazing and I love her nickname.

James needed a knock to the head, like most guys but he realized his mistake. Thank God!

Read this book if you want to see a stubborn male fall. It was a sweet fall though.

This is quite an engaging story that was a pleasure to read. Myra practically runs James life, and while she is in love with him, he doesn’t consider their relationship as anything other than professional. That all changes when James has an accident and suffers short term memory loss. Myra agrees to look after James, and while a series of events bring them closer together, their inadequate communication skills only end up driving them apart. That is until James suddenly realises what everyone else has known all along.

Myra has her own dreams and aspirations and working as James Frost’s assistant was only meant to be a short pause on the way to her goals; instead it has been 5-years. The three Frost brothers are so different, but James is the odd one out; he is much more serious, determined and goal orientated than the others, as well as single. Myra’s love is unrequited and she is tired of the emotions she carefully hides away. James doesn’t see her as a woman, only an extension of his office that he can take wherever he goes; she cannot believe she has held out hope for so long for him to notice her in a way that is anything but professional. James doesn’t believe there is a woman who can handle his work schedule, his habits or his lifestyle. But isn’t that what Myra does anyway, day in and day out and she would certainly not have stayed with him for so long if it were only for the money? A fall leaves James injured and with short term memory loss. As far as James is concerned the only person he is able to tolerate 24-hours a day is Myra, but he cannot understand why she has resigned; what can he do to change her mind. James is clueless when it comes to anything that isn’t business and when Myra’s attempts at seducing him win him over, James tells her he is glad she has resigned; unfortunately, Myra interprets this the wrong way. The more the two talk, the more their communication skills drive them apart, and finally Myra leaves. James eventually finds out that Myra has been in love with him for years; how could he have not known. May be Myra leaving the company is exactly what James needed to realise he couldn’t live without her, not as his assistant, but as his life partner. Now all he has to do is find out where she has gone and when he does he has a final offer for her; but will she accept? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Sexy Bad Boss is a sweet and sexy addition to the Sexy Bad series. James and Myra are adorably cute and quirky together and, along with a new family addition of a purrrrfect cat, this entry in the series is everything I had been waiting for with James.

Myra has been James' assistant/right hand woman, go-to person for years now. He may be a shark in business, but he's woefully clueless when it comes to women, especially to his right hand woman. She's been in love with him for as long as she's been his right hand, but of course he doesn't realize. At a family wedding, she decides to throw caution to the wind and finally tell him her feelings. But things happen, things get in the way, like his fall and subsequent amnesia. So she agrees to stick around for a short while to help him get back on his feet, before she takes off to London for her dream job. But, when clueless James finally realizes how amazing the woman is who's been right in front of him all these years, will it be too late? Will she have already boarded the plane to London?

If you've been reading this series as I have, then you've probably been waiting for James' story. My expectations were more than exceeded and I loved seeing James finally see Myra for the amazing woman she really is. Boss romances are some of my favorite, and Misti and Tammy more than did this trope justice. If you like your romance sweet, sexy and quirky, 1-click Sexy Bad Boss today.

I have loved this Frost family from Misti Murphy & Tami Lund! In the latest, Secy Bad Boss, it is James's turn to be brought down to his knees. Myra has been his right hand for 5 years and the whole time she has harbored a crush on her boss. When he is injured due to a hilarious series of events, even if it was painful it was fun to read, Myra will be there to help him. In true fashion to this series James somehow finds himself with a pet he didn't want, but this time it's a regular kind of pet when the cat shows up. Myra and James both lack the skill of communication with each other when it comes to important things like how they feel about each other and yet when it finally counts James will step up big time and not be the unmoving person most people think he is. This is another couple you can't help but adore as you read their story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.

This book is laugh-out-loud romantic comedy at its best! I've absolutely loved the whole Sexy Bad series so far and this book is no exception.

James is so driven and focused on his business that he is totally oblivious to his admin Myra's feelings for him. Having loved him from afar for five years, she finally plucks up the courage to tell him how she feels.....when a freak accident finds him suffering from concussion and memory loss.

Cue lots of hilarity, misunderstandings, mis-communications and James being a total bumbling idiot!

And it wouldn't be a Sexy Bad story without a cute four-legged friend featuring along the way!

A fantastic, funny and easy to read story that will have you smiling throughout. Loved it!

Hot Damn!!!

Isn't it like a normal boss not to notice what was in front of their face the whole time. The ways that Myra goes about things is just hot and makes any woman wish she had the guts to do it.

But after everything you read you cannot help but get wrapped up in her feelings and cry right along with her. People just need to learn to communicate and maybe people won't be crying or leaving.

Adding Simon right along with Ducky and Spot he makes a perfect addition to the family. One more animal for Abby to love..who can't help but love that little girl she makes for great comic relief. Her explanation of kissing was worth reading the whole book...lol

Can't wait until the next installment....

I flew through this book! I liked both the characters. James...so completely obliviously to Myra's feelings towards him. It was entertaining watching her seduction attempt. She was on a mission! Considering the circumstances, the falling scene was priceless and creative. There were a number of steamy scenes, which of course, are a must have! Given James' situation, it was unfortunate that he wasn't able to have as much control as I would think he normally does. I thought the only downfall was that there wasn't much of a twist. The ending was on the predictable side. This family is great, and I look forward to reading more about them!

What a hot book this was.

What would you do if the object of your affection who turned you down flat suddenly has amnesia?? What if you have two weeks until you leave? Do you leave with your tail between your legs or do you put in a place of seduction??

Myra has been James assistant for years. She has lusted after him for just as long. However, James only thinks in terms of business dealings not matters of the heart. A rejection, a goat and short-term amnesia allows Myra to try and open James eyes to what has been in front of him the whole time before it’s too late.

I loved this book. This is an amazing series!!

A botched seduction, a header off a balcony, amnesia, a cat, and lots of sexy times. What starts as an unrequited love story that gets a second chance because of a head injury ends with the most nerdy awesome proposal I've read in a really long time.

I was expecting something a bit different. James is painted as aloof and all about work, and that's definitely true, but the title hinted that he would be on the "I'm sexy and I know it" side of things. Not that he wasn't sexy, just that his relationship to his member and getting women into his bed would be more in the forefront. Instead, we have an endearingly oblivious man who knows he can't live without his assistant but is vehemently denying to himself how deep that need actually runs. Aside from the first day where he noticed how sensuous his assistant was and his new awareness of her, he'd placed her firmly in the "do not screw" box and he's having a hell of a time reconciling the two different versions of her he's created.

Myra was cute, capable, and quite graceless sometimes. It made her all the more likable. While I'm not a huge fan of secrets and keeping the confessions to the end, for this couple it kind of worked. Because she'd been in love with him forever she seemed to hold all the cards, the one that had the power to change their dynamic, but when it came down to it, it was her fear that held all the power. Her fear of committing to a confession made a mess of the balcony moment, the "let's talk" moment on the couch, the moment of parting, and every sexy moment they shared. Until the very end when she realized just how much she was losing out on by not being completely upfront about her feelings and intentions did she let it all out. By then, James was on the same page.

It sure took him long enough! There were lots of moments that I sighed in exasperation because of the very predictable moments of his regret. Despite regretting the actions because he couldn't seem to connect his body, head, and heart, he still couldn't keep his hands, mouth, and...uh...other parts off of Myra. Seeing his thoughts all jumbled and adorably adolescent in their obliviousness didn't make me annoyed, rather it made me like him. A befuddled sexy man is one I love reading about. Yes, he totally acts like a dummy but I can't help but like him and root for him.

Together they were sweet and more than a little bumbling. When they finally have their confessions it was just as sweet and awkward as the rest of the story. Memorable and unique. I mean, the graph, business terms, innuendo, is there any way those can be combined and not be notable? And the way it's written is absolutely adorable!

Equally cute is the collection of animals from Sexy Bad Daddy and Sexy Bad Neighbor. The inclusion of an animal in every story is cleverly written. It could have turned out like a bad gag repeated for continuity but each animal has a unique place with each couple and in the story. The pied piper of their little zoo, Abby, was really sweet. Although she did read more as a 6/7 year old instead of 3/4 so that was a bit annoying but something that could be overlooked in Sexy Bad Boss because she wasn't heavily featured.

I'm absolutely going back to read the rest of the series. Meeting the Frost men and their family on the periphery of this story has been a pleasure. They're all unique characters and their interplay is fabulous. They feel connected and the stories are connected not just because they feature a trio of brothers, but because of in-jokes, actual connection and chemistry between the characters, quirky pet choices, and a fun writing style. I'm sold, I'm in. Even though this is the third book in the series it's definitely a standalone and does a great job standing on its own with endearing characters and a well-rounded romance with very little external drama to detract or add tension beyond what's necessary for plot progression.

Read and very willingly read this ARC from the author.

Myra’s dream is to own her own business baking and selling her delicious cookies. But to learn the business side if things she takes a job as the admin to the CEO of Frost, Inc. She becomes his right hand and runs ever aspect of James’ life for him.
James Frost, sexy self made billionaire can cut any deal and win. He could probably purchase hell from the devil and the devil not know what hit him. But the man is ignorant when it comes to anything not business related. His brothers are getting married and momma is pushing James to married she wants lots of grand babies.
When James get injured, thanks Myra’s declaration and then verbal resignation, he has to have 24/7 care for two weeks. He refuses to let anyone close to him or help him. ONLY MYRA.
For five long years Myra has been hiding her feels from her boss, everyone else could see them but him was to blind to it.
But how does she hide them when faced with living with him for two weeks and being together 24/7? Can she? Will he reciprocate those feels or will she final just walk away for good and start her dream job in London? Will she ever get the love she wants, needs, and truly deserves from James? Or is he to oblivious to relationships, feelings, and love to see her for who she is and what she wants?
Maybe her giving her resignation will be the one only saving face, or her heart, that she has,,

This is a great read and I recommend to anyone who loves to read stories with love, laughter and some heartbreak. Looking forward to reading more from this author soon.

🌟🌟🌟🌟

God I love these Sexy Bad men. They are all unique, funny and sexy as he’ll. We've seen Paynter and Chloe, Garrett and Erin and now its the other brothers turn... James Frost. He is smart, rich, sexy and sadly clueless. Everything he thinks he doesn't want is right in front of his face, but his close-minded business ways means he's going to lose his forever after before he even gets it.

Myra Edwards has worked for James for years, but has secretly lusted after him. But being his Admin Secretary and “Supergirl”, meant he was clueless. So when she takes the dive and kisses him at Paynt and Chloe’s wedding and he freaks and falls over the balcony, ending up in hospital with broken bones and memory loss, she feels like she's lost everything.

Post fall James relies and needs Myra‘s help to heal, he can't do anything for himself. But with that help comes the decision to try again with him. If he doesn't remember what happened she can use those 2 weeks to prove or move. In a comedy of errors, these two will find that moment, take that leap and create a whole new world. Sadly when James things he has it all sorted, he owns his mouth again losing everything.

It took a while but losing his Supergirl at Frost Inc., is one thing but losing Myra from his life, will kill him. Now he'll just have to work out how you get her back, once and for all. It seems, the unco Frost brother is the sweetest...

The oldest and most clueless of the Frost brothers is James. He is the brilliant force and CEO of Frost, Inc. He has a beautiful and talented PA, that helps him run his company. In fact, he depends on Myra Edwards and calls her his “Supergirl”. He thinks of Myra in indecent ways but knows he cannot act upon it. Myra dreams of James as well, she wants to make a move and let him know how she feels about him.
Paynter, James younger brother is getting married to James’s partner at Frost, Inc. After drinking and dancing, Myra decides to tell James how she feels. In true romantic comedy fashion she kisses him and tells him. James rejects her and falls back wards over a goat. Myra is mortified and quits. James breaks a few bones and has amnesia.
He asks Myra to help him for the two weeks until she leaves the company. Myra moves into James home. What could go wrong with two very alike and stubborn people living together? Throw in a pesky new assistant eager to please, a friendly Siamese cat and two frisky adults that are lusting after each other? This was a fun and funny book. I am SO enjoying the Frost family. I do hope the authors have plans for more books in this series. Love, love, love them!!!

This was such a fun book to read! James and Myra have been working together for quite a while, but Myra is ready to either give themselves a chance at a real relationship or move on. James is so shocked when she kisses him that he falls and suffers a bit of amnesia from the concussion. Myra musters up the courage to continue her pursuit while taking care of James as he recuperates, hoping that will give James time to figure out how he really feels about her.

Told from alternating points of view, we see both characters struggling with their own insecurities and inability to communicate. James is also trying to be mindful of the boss/employee relationship, while Myra has submitted her resignation and is trying to find her replacement. In the middle of all this we have a cat that adopts them and an adorable little niece who is far too observant for their comfort.

The authentic and heartbreaking emotional struggles, along with plenty of humor and hot love scenes as well as updated glimpses of the characters from the previous books, all add up to a memorable book with a beautiful HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I have just devoured this book as It was impossible to put it down once I started reading it.
I really enjoyed reading this story about James and Myra and I loved the dynamic between these two.
I'm loving this series so much as it's a laugh out loud comedy mixed with a fabulous storyline.
James is so obsessed with work he can't seem to see past the end of his nose.
He's so stubborn yet he's the perfect match for Myra.
She's loved him from afar for ages but hasn't plucked up the courage to tell him.
An eventful evening followed by a mishap with a goat throws everything up in the air and changes things completely.
This story has a fluffy addition of a cat that is purrfect for this couple who really need a lesson in communication.
Can the cat bring them together?
One click this fantastic book as soon as you can and i hope you enjoy reading it as much as i did.
You are guaranteed to have lots of laughs and be entertained throughout by James and Myra's story.

James Frost is successful and driven when it comes to his company but socially inept when it comes to women. If he had been paying attention he would have noticed the woman right under his nose had been secretly in love with him for years. Enter Myra, the amazing business savvy personal assistant/right hand/supergirl to CEO James Frost who may have much more then a slight crush on him. I mean sure she can tell him how she feels after five long years right?....if only it were that easy.

Myra decides to show James how she feels the next time they are alone. But after gaining the courage to tell him there was dancing, drinks, a kiss, then a goat inflicted fall.....typical Frost antics. This book was cute, quirky, and gave hope to all us fellow socially awkward peeps out there. I'm so in love with this Sexy Bad series! It just has to be said these Frost boys (&girl) are something else when it comes to finding that forever love.

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

A fun, flirty, smoking hot romance that had me smiling, squirming in the best way and eating this book up WAY TOO FAST! Sexy Bad Boss had me feeling hot and bothered and I enjoyed it so much!

Nothing makes me happier than getting a good romantic comedy, but this one was more fun and had more heart in it than I anticipated. I found myself grinning, giggling, sighing, and flipping through the pages lightening fast because I didn't want to miss a moment. I can say that Misti Murphy and Tami Lund can co-write some great reads that have great banter, irresistible characters, and fabulous storylines. I can't wait to see what is next with either one of these authors.

Sexy Bad Boss gets a FUN AND OH SO CHARMING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! If you love a book that can make you laugh and sigh with pleasure, you will NOT be disappointed with Sexy Bad Boss!

I really enjoyed this story. I haven't read the first two books, yet, but others from the authors. I like the mix of heat and comedy that the authors put in threre without it getting cheesey.

Myra's been in love with her boss, James, from day one. When she decides to tell him he falls down and gets injured and she gives him her two weeks notice.

The characters are easy to relate to. The indecisiveness, the wanting to be close but knowing it's basically wrong because of their working relationship. James do annoy me a couple of times when he is too indecisive, mainly because I don't think it's fair on Myra.
I love the animals thrown in there, it's a nice quirk that I really enjoy.

Overall it's a bit of a quick read, wanted more to be honest, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

I recieved an ARC for this book in exchange of my honest opinion.

A great addition to the Sexy Bad Family series. This book had a lot of laugh out loud moments in it. Add in a stubborn but also clueless man (James), who I think really needed fate to step in and bring Myra front and centre in his life away from the workplace.
Myra is almost as bad as James. The only difference is that she knows how she feels about him, but she just can't say or show him in anyway.
They say you shouldn't work with kids or animals, but Misti proves that you can as four of the best characters happen to be either a child or an animal.
This is a wonderful book that is so very well written, I couldn't possibly recommend it enough.

If there is one thing that I totally love, it is a romantic comedy, and this one certainly hit all of the bells! James is a stubborn character, who is totally obsessed with work. Myra has been his PA for years, and has always loved him from afar. Will James eventually see what is right in front of his nose? No spoilers; this is an absolute must read, you will not be disappointed. Once again this talented author has excelled herself, and given her all to this story. I was hooked and captivated throughout, and with all of those laugh-out-loud moments, this is the perfect novel to read. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers.

This book is full of miscommunications and hilarity between James and Myra. For two people with so much chemistry, they are so backwards. It was impossible to put this book down once I started it. I loved the story development and the way the mains reasoned with themselves. This is a great romantic comedy. This series is wonderful. If you haven't read the other books, you don't have to, but you should to understand the overall dynamic that the authors are creating. I love how they add a pet to each couple lives. I'm so excited to know there will be two more books! I volunteered to read this book.

I have got to say that I loved this book! James is so focused on work and is completely oblivious to anything else. Myra is crazy about him and her attempt to get him to notice her ends up putting them together in more ways than one.. What ensues is lots of sexual tension, awkwardness and a whole lot of hilarity!

I could not put this book down and I loved having glimpses of Abby and Garrett. Definitely well worth the read to see what happens between James and Myra

This is another amazing delivery in the Sexy Family Series, James Frost it's a great business man but he's kind of dense when matters of the hearts is in front of him.
Myra is fun, super organized, but she needs to improve her comunication skills, both of them actually, because that's what lands them in lots of weird problems. Misti Murphy and Tami Lund did great with this story. You can't help but laugh and be mad a them a the same time. Garret, Ronnie, Abby and Alex added so much fun to the mix.

I love this series. It's hilarious especially with the animals. This one was no exception. James is the workaholic serious brother of the bunch. This book throws in a twist for Myra and James. One of the things that I really enjoyed was that Myra likes to bake. A woman after my on heart. Another aspect I really enjoyed was the cat. I'm a big cat lover so when ever there is a cat in book I'm all over it. I thought this was a great installment in the series. It delivered on what I expect when reading this series.

I freakin love the Sexy Bad series! The Frost family keeps getting bigger and bigger. A goat, check. A duck, check. And now a cat? What's next?

James is by fast the biggest dumbass in the face of the earth. How could he not see that Mrya was hopelessly in live with him? Stupid man! But in all honestly James is my favorite of the family, there was just something about him that grabbed my heart and wouldn't let go, he was the prefect book boyfriend.
