Mark finding out he was working with some big time crooks, was hoping to get information to the FBI, mainly Brian. Finding that was now impossible. If they could get to Casey, maybe she would be able to help him. What follows is a plot of finding family, and danger, with him being taken back into working with the mob. Can they find away to get Mark out and safety for the family. Good reading with a plot filled with twists and turns.
This was a good book just like the previous one. Interesting until I ran into a curse word in CH..10. I am very disappointed and stopped reading and will not read anything else by this author. Without that word it would have gotten 4-5 stars.
I was so disappointed with this novel. After reading Target and Bait, I was anxious to read more of Lisa's suspense novels. This one had SO much potential, but if felt rushed and incomplete. You would just get to a climax to find the resolution too quickly.
A short, light detective story involving a number of interesting characters, determined women, growing families, lost loves and potential new loves on the scene.
I bought this book as box of a boxset called Pursued, with books by a number of other authors.
First two books in series are good. The third is ok. Ending of third book, I was not happy with. Was not told how Mark and Sam were found. And how the bad guy was found. Yes the couple get together like always but the whole story just stop abrupty.
The final segment in this FBI series takes a dangerous turn and leads danger to thoss that have finally found a relatively peaceful existence. What an intriguing plot with new characters and twists and turns.
of the 3 in the series, this one is the best of the 3. A little bit more "plausible' and not so far fetched in some ways. Still, I can't totally endorse this series. A bit "fluffy" for me...
I loved this book filled with lots of suspense, well crafted characters and an engaging story line. This book is recommended for those who Christian romantic suspense.
