Sōichirō Yamamoto (山本崇一朗, Yamamoto Sōichirō) is a Japanese manga artist. He is known for writing and illustrating Teasing Master Takagi-san and Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru. Both series have been published in Monthly Shōnen Sunday and Weekly Shōnen Magazine, respectively.

I’m nearing four-star levels of enjoyment with this series, but there are still some moments that seem recycled from previous volumes. Still fun, though!

The best feel-good manga. I look forward to every volume. It’s pure, sweet young love. This volume was a bit strange because it starts with a flash back to when they first met. It was hard to get back into the regular flow of the story and the episodes/chapters in this volume seem less connected and linear. It still left me with the warm fuzzies.

Its very funny to see how they teased and compete. I read the spin-off and its fun to see that after getting married and having a child the sparks are still there... they still love teasing and competing with each other! I wonder how this manga will end?

Selipan 1 chapter yang berisikan awal mula perjumpaan Takagi dan Nishikata di saat nyuenshiki. Sungguh menyegarkan hhe.
Membaca serial ini memang memberikan perasaan senang terbaik. Saya menantikan setiap jilidnya hha.

This volume begins with Nishikata and Takagi meeting for the first day of middle school. The pair have such fun interactions as they poke one another to see how the other will react. In some ways, it seems that she teases him because she likes him and he's just now realizing that he may like her.

Chapter awal dan akhir yang sangat memuaskan, dibuka dengan pertemuan awal nishikata dan takagi kemudian chapter akhir nishikata berani mengajak takagi untuk pergi bareng ke festival adalah salah satu alasan utama awal mula saya menyukai genre "Slice of life".

At the end of this volume, there is a suggestion that the teasing theme may be moving to the background. That's good news, but not enough to send me to the bookstore for volumes 9 and up.

I have volume 8 and will read it, but only a major change will make me want to continue.

This is the kind of story that works in small doses, but should not be binged.
