This the first book I have been able to get through in Chinese despite years of studying the language!

It is short enough to get through it in one sitting if you have studied some Chinese, and you will not feel bogged down with its length. The book reinforces your reading by having you read the whole thing twice, and the second time is without the English training wheels.

I look forward to reading the next one! :)

Perfect for beginners!

I think this story is perfect for beginners. It is very simple but there's only so many things to say with 150 characters. I liked practicing reading aloud more fluently and recognizing the characters faster.

great for beginners

I felt like I could read this without any problems. However I wish the paragraphs could be just in pinyin. To help my reading skills.
