A strange book, strange in the sense that it's written so unevenly, or To put it differently, written with half-baked efforts. Good bits here and there, but for the most part really sloppy storytelling and development. The story itself has full of potentials for exploring the complexity of emotions and inner conflicts. Unfortunately they are all wasted. Characters wise, not much appeals from the start and are given superficial development.

What can I say, a really bland fairytale that left me with disappointment, if not to say annoyance.
