Emergent reader about how we use math skills in the real world. Many different jobs use math skills in different ways and this book explores a few of them. A nice read for math class and to remind children of the importance of math.

I really like how the book relate math to professional careers in the society. It talked about how pilots use math to know how fast they fly, how musician use math to count the beats, and how firemen use math to figure out how far the ladder will reach. This will definietly encourage students to learn Math. This is appropriate for Kindergarten to 2nd graders.
