Stronghold Doms #7

Tempting the Domme

Rate this book
It takes a strong man to win the heart of an even stronger woman.Luke Evans is a confident, commanding man who happens to really like a bossy woman in the bedroom, so it's no surprise when he's immediately drawn to Stronghold's bossiest Domme, Olivia Williams. Unfortunately for him, while he's just Olivia's type in a lot of ways, she's not happy that he's in a position of professional power over her, a decision she was not privy to when it was made. She's determined not to mix business with pleasure, no matter how appealing putting Luke Evans on his knees in front of her would be. But Luke's just as much a go-getter as Olivia and he's perfectly happy to join the class of new submissives in order to show her just how far he's willing to go. When it becomes clear Olivia has attracted the attention of someone else - and not in a good way - the tension among the entire Stronghold group goes through the roof and Luke can't help but feel protective no matter how Olivia resists him. With two strong personalities both used to winning, who will come out on top in the end?The Stronghold Doms Series1. The Sassy Submissive2. Taming the Tease3. I'll be honest, I thought this book was going to be terrible. Very few writers get female Doms and male subs right. It was an okay story. I didn't hate it.

I didn't enjoy the stereotype that a female Dom has to be icy, cold, terrifying, etc. She was softened up a bit as the story went on. I also didn't enjoy the idea that female Doms don't do this, or don't do that. Penetration of any orifice does NOT equate to dominance. Why is it perfectly acceptable that a male dom will give oral like a starving man at a feast, but a female can't and still be seen as dominant?

Rarely do i get the pleasure of reading BDSM themed novels that are Domme based - many have them in passing, most concentrating on male Doms and their submissives, whether they be male or female. This was also my first book by Golden Angel, and i was curious to see how they would be able to bring this lifestyle to life.

I doubt i was fully ready for this story or for how this author brings their story to life. It had many other connecting storylines that i wasn't up to date with since i hadn't read any previous Stronghold novels in the past, but it didn't really affect me as much as i would have thought. For sure i'm curious because there are so many elements of Stronghold (the club) and its users as well as the new club that just grabs you by the shirt and forces you to pay attention.

Olivia and Luke's story is interesting to say the least. Luke is a silent partner in the new BDSM club while Olivia is the club manager, so, while the Domme is used to having control, in this instance, she doesn't fully have it when it comes to running the place since Luke is the boss. It was fascinating to watch these two navigate their day to day professional business lives while trying to find that happy medium that they need to make their personal relationship flourish. I'm not under any rose colored glasses kind of world where i think that this is how it happens in every situation where the male submissive struggles to find his happy place between being the professional and the submissive, but i did like finding out how Luke thought - how he found his medium and how he managed to figure out what needed to be done and when. As for Olivia, i was happy to watch her grow as a Domme and see that what works for one doesn't always for for another.

I'd be curious to find out how this book compares to their other works from this author, so chances are that i'll be reading more from them in the future if nothing else than to satisfy my morbid curiousity!

Wow, 5 stars just because I would have sworn blind I wouldn't enjoy a Domme book

I love the Stronghold Doms series, with their well written, steamy, humorous and believable kink stories. However I had avoided this story because I wasn't sure how I would ever find a submissive man sexy or a be able to connect to a strong and feisty Domme. Well I'm here to tell you that Golden Angel managed to do just that in Tempting the Dom .

Luke never once came across as wimpy or unsexy, even during his submission he was hot, sexy and gorgeous. Olivia was such a caring, warm and loving character that again she defied my expectations and I totally believed in her.

There was a stalker after her, a club to run, and her new submissive was also her boss.... but f**k all that. Olivia was the Queen of Peen.

This pair shared some very realistic struggles, had lots of hot chemistry and totally drew me into their story. I adored this couple, worried alongside Luke for Olivia's safety, loved their intimate scenes and was totally rooting for them to get their HEA.

So if you love a good BDSM romance then I highly recommend this. And if you're sat on the fence, wondering if you could enjoy a book where the heroine is a Domme, then let this book open your eyes.

Well, well..not bad at all. I didn't know what to think when I started this book. All my BDSM "book experience" was with a male dominating and the female submitting. Wasn't sure if it will be my thing seeing a man vulnerable it that kind of way but I so liked it!!

Luke might like to submit in bed but outside the bedroom he is an arrogant and self assured guy. Which created a nice balance in his relationship with Olivia keeping the dialogue hot and entertaining.

Although there are a lot of friends involved from the kinky clubs and couples already made you can read this book as a standalone. A nice bunch of secondary characters so it's really worth it to read the other books and their stories.

I was really looking forward to this book as some insight to Dommes and a POV we don’t normally get. But it was wrong. It is a horrible classic case of depicting the BDSM community as irresponsible people who are soley driven by sex.
To make it worse, the writing was depressing - how many internal sighs must we have? And why the hell are all the Doms « predatory »??
There was nothing sexy or real about this book. I DNF at over 50% because I just couldn’t.

To the author if you ever read this: If you must continue to write about a community about whom you seem to be ill informed, the very least you can do is to represent it properly. Get some sensitivity readers. Hire real editors. Erotic romance shouldn’t make me angry and sad, it should make me horny.

Tempting the Domme (Stronghold Doms Book 7) by Golden Angel is book seven in her Stronghold Doms series. This series can be read as a standalone and I can't wait to read the rest of this series. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed her writing style that is easy flowing and keeps you engaged. Her attention to details made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. Her characters are lovable, connectable and true to life. They did take me on an emotional roller coaster ride of various emotions including laughter. They also took me on a journey of BDSM that has some twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat one minute and the next needing ice water. This is the story of Olivia and Luke. Luke owns his own construction company which was a benefit to him when he partnered up with a couple of other friends to open Stronghold. His problem becomes when he is drawn to the head Domme. Olivia is a strong woman who wants control especially when it comes to the bedroom. She doesn't do relationships, she has play partners. She is not surprised that she is attracted to Luke, she does like men like him. What will happen when Luke considers being a submissive? How open will he be the life style? When Olivia attracts a stalker, Luke starts spending more time with her keeping her safe. As the danger picks up so does the heat in the bedroom. Will Luke be able to protect her and keep her safe? I enjoyed both of these characters. I am not use to reading a BDSM book where the male is the submissive and the female is the Domme. It was different for me but liked reading about Olivia taking control. Luke is just so passive that he has some issues to resolve around this life. Olivia is just so feisty and independent. Luke is an alpha male one minute and the next he is as passive as a mouse. Together they are chemistry and heat. The secondary characters are really great as well. They made me laugh most of the time but they help make this story flow into a page turner. For the most part they are supportive and connectable. I highly recommend reading Olivia and Luke's story. You will want to find out what happens between a female Domme and a male submissive.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Domme Olivia Williams and the man who is strongly drawn to her Luke Evans.

This book packed an awful lot into it. I really liked Olivia and Luke, both as individuals and defensively as a couple. I felt their connection and the chemistry between the two of them is scorchingly hot. However Tempting The Domme is not just a steamy book, it has depth and the characters were easy to relate too.

It was great to see how Olivia handled Luke’s doubts and insecurities as he wrestled with his desire to be submissive in the bedroom. Particularly sine he is such an alpha take charge man outside of it.

I love BDSM themed books but was not to sure how I would take to a Domme rather than a Dom. I wasn’t totally sure that this would be a book I would enjoy. How wrong could I be?

I was looking forward to hearing Olivia’s story and it was só worth it! She has the entire Stronghold group “helping” her find her happy after. Because she struggles against the strong attraction she feels towards her boss (silent partner at the new club they’re starting, called Marquis) Luke. But Luke doesn’t give up that easy and with the help he gets from his new friends,he slowly makes his way into her heart. And his submission to her.....what a beautiful sight that is! The way they all do their thing to help her when trouble comes to her door,is yet another sign of how close they all are. I really love this series!

Awesome read! I haven't read the other books in this series and I didn't feel lost at all. I definitely want to read the other books. And I want to grow up to be Olivia too. She's amazing. I probably won't look ice cubes the same again. Luke won't either. I can't believe he's a closet nerd. Haha. Seriously though, I loved this book.

Olivia and Luke.... wow, just wow!
It was very enlightening to read a flip the script type style. From a woman's point of view as a Domme. And to see the struggles a man comes to terms with while submitting.
This was a wonderful read, sucks you in right away! With plenty of snip its of what is happening to the others in the group.

I’ve not read/listened to a book where the sub is male and he has a Domme. It was quite refreshing to be honest. It was a good insight into the dynamic of this type of relationship and the similar insecurities that he has as a sub. Great performance.

When Golden Angel took a poll at the end of the last Stronghold book about which couple to feature next, I had no qualms about focusing on Olivia and Luke next. Olivia has been part of the Stronghold group since the beginning and deserves her own story. Now, FemDom is not really my thing, but that's irrelevant here because Golden Angel has done such a good job of developing Olivia's character that whether the sex is to my taste doesn't matter. She has created characters that the readers can care about and as such, what kind of sex they're having isn't the point. Don't get me wrong, the sex is great, but by this point, the characters and their conflicts and developments are more important. And I mean here not just Olivia and Luke, but the entire Stronghold gang. One of the great things about this series is that Golden Angel doesn't jettison or ignore the characters from previous books in the new ones, so we can continue to follow our favorites throughout. (And Angel had better have that baby in the next book!)

Another thing I really like, and didn't really notice until the 3rd or 4th book, is the diversity of the characters. Golden Angel writes with subtlety and a matter-of-fact take on it, so that the Stronghold gang is racially and culturally integrated, almost without our noticing. It's just not a big deal and I like that. It gives a body hope that our society might get to that place eventually.

I can't speak to whether this book works as a stand-alone, as I've read all the others and have already mentioned my attachment to the other characters, but I highly recommend this and all the other Stronghold books.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I was very surprised to really like this story of a hot sexy Dominatrix getting to play with the sub of her desires. Luke, a really sexy man and sort of Olivia's boss, wants to submit to the sexy redheaded Domme. As Olivia takes Luke through the paces of submitting in her submissives training class at Marquis, the new BDSM Club, Luke is realizing this exactly what he wants, a woman to take control in the bedroom. I was really concerned about reading about a man submitting to a woman. I worried it would be embarassing and he might be shamed, but Golden Angel wrote it with heart and understanding. Now that I am comfortable with the Domme subject, I can now read other books with this subject matter with more confidence that it could really be done with class and consideration of a man's pride in getting what he personally prefers with a woman in the bedroom.
I am looking forward to the next book I hope is about Jake and Sharon!

So often when authors of BDSM series write about a Domme/sub relationship, they have to make the woman less commanding, to make the relationship more equal than that of a Dom/sub relationship. Author Golden Angel doesn't do that at all. While Luke is an alpha-male type outside of his relationship with Olivia, he's willing (and actually enjoys) being submissive to her in their romantic and sexual relationship. It's great to show a different side of BDSM, and especially with two great characters like Luke and Olivia.

Book 7, Stronghold Doms. Golden Angel's glimpse into the world of BDSM through the eyes of a Domme and her sub is fascinating!

SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS BOOK #7 IN THE STRONGHOLD DOMS SERIES. IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE PRIOR BOOKS IN THE SERIES, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

It took years but Luke Evans and Olivia Williams finally learned what they wanted from life. When the two finally meet, the mutual attraction is undeniable. Even so, there are oh, so many obstacles in their path. Luke's a silent partner in Marquis, the very exclusive new BDSM club started by the owners of Stronghold. Olivia is Marquis' new manager. A relationship with a co-worker? Not in Olivia's wildest dreams! From all appearances, Luke's strong, confident, totally in control. Olivia's the ultimate control freak. She's a Domme, after all. How do two people with diametrically opposite lives connect? But Luke has a secret. When he enrolls in the new submissive class at Marquis, Olivia's carefully controlled world is thrown into chaos. How does she deal with this? Luke, a submissive? This can't possibly be true, right? It's a prank. It has to be! As she and Luke dance around each other, each at cross purposes, there's much more at stake than a conflicted Domme/sub relationship. Unknown to Olivia, she's in danger. Only who's behind the threats? Why? What possible motive could anyone have to harm her? When the threats bring out Luke's protective nature, Olivia's pulls farther away. She doesn't need a man, particularly Luke, to take care of her. But when the danger escalates, Olivia can't dismiss it as some isolated nut case anymore. When the perpetrator makes his boldest move yet, Olivia's in mortal peril. Will her stubbornness, refusal to accept help, be her downfall? Is there anything that can save her? Or will she finally realize her strength doesn't mean she has to go it alone?

In this latest in the Stronghold Doms series, Golden Angel's brought the Domme/male sub dynamic to life in a special way. I haven't read many books where the female is the dominant and the male is the submissive, perhaps due to my own submissive tendencies. That's not to say I don't accept this particular dynamic. I just never thought it could hold my interest. But I was wrong. Golden Angel's created a story that brings this dynamic to life in a very compelling manner. Luke and Olivia are utterly fascinating. The struggles with which they deal are real in every imaginable way. It's not just about Luke submitting to Olivia. Their potential relationship is fraught with all kinds of barriers, from the perceived conflicts on both sides, to Luke's struggle with his submissive tendencies, the reality of what being a submissive truly is, to Olivia's conflicted response to Luke in nearly every possible way. Instead of being unable to identify with these characters, I found myself pulled into their story and becoming a part of their lives. The supporting characters are a real treat. The sense of love and community within their BDSM "family" is extraordinarily written. Golden Angel obviously knows her subject matter, and it shows. She's created a story that's not just captivating. For me to love this story, to find these two characters as captivating as I did, is a true accomplishment. Thank you, Golden Angel, for creating an exceptional story that captives and enthralls!

One final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author. She works very hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Book 7 in the in the Stronghold Doms Series, Tempting the Domme, we finally get to read Olivia’s story.

I absolutely LOVE Olivia. To read about a dominant woman and a submissive male dynamic in this genre is nowhere near as prominent as reading about alpha males with submissive women.

Patrick, Michael (aka Mike, or pretty boy) pool their resources and decide to become partners to form a new club to add to what Stronghold offers their members. The new club will be called Marquis.

After renovations begin, Mike and Patrick have to make a decision to scrap some of their ideas due to financial restrictions … In comes the foreman of the renovations, Luke Evans, who after overhearing some things comes to the conclusion the new club would benefit from what Mike and Patrick wanted to achieve, so offers his financial backing in exchange for becoming a silent partner.
Olivia is approached to manage the new club.

The attraction from the first meeting between Olivia and Luke is palpable, but Olivia tries to push her attraction aside when she finds out he is also a silent partner of the club. Both Olivia and Luke struggle with their mutual attraction; Luke struggles with his submissive feelings as he pursues Olivia, and Olivia struggles with Luke being one of her bosses at Marquis.

That doesn’t deter Luke, and he enrols into the new ‘submissive’ classes to be held at Marquis, instructed by Olivia. But Olivia has another threat. A stalker who has targeted her. Even though Evan becomes Olivia’s submissive, his protective streak comes out when Olivia is targeted too close to home, along with every other Dom from Stronghold.

In this story we, the reader, get to understand the D/s relationship dynamics when the female is a Domme, and the male, a submissive. Being a born submissive myself, I thought I would struggle reading this, but the author has done an excellent job.

Again, this book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend you begin this series with the first book, Sassy Submissive, to get to know all the individual stories of each couple, and how intricately they connect. And to expand on the quirks of each couple or dynamic. Again, there are some editing issues, but they still don’t detract from the enjoyment of the story.

Tempting the Domme ( Stronghold Doms Book 7 ) by Golden Angel

Tempting the Domme ( Stronghold Doms Book 7 ) by Golden Angel  is the seventh book in the Stronghold Doms series. This series can be read as a standalone and I'm going to go back and read the first six books in this series as well. I absolutely loved this book and it was my first by this author and I can honestly say that it won't be my last. I enjoyed her style of writing and her ability to hook me from the first page till the very last page.i enjoyed her characters are believable  and her attention to detail is outstanding made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Get ready for a roller-coaster ride of emotions along with a little taste into the world of BDSM with a few twist and turns that had me on the edge of my seat and next minute needing a serious cool down. This is the story of Olivia and Luke.Luke has his own Construction Company which he owns. This company was a benefit when he partnered with a few other friends to open Stronghold. But the problem is  when he's drawn to be head Domme . Olivia is a woman who is strong and likes control  especially in the bedroom. Olivia really don't do relationships but has "play partners "She's not at all surprised she's attracted to Luke,he's her type of man. What happens when Luke considers being submissive?Olivia seems to attract a stalker in which Luke starts to spend more time with her to keep her safe.Boy does the heat start to pick up in the bedroom  as the danger picks up.Can Luke protect her and keep her safe?I loved that Olivia took control in the bedroom, so many other BDSM  books the male is the Domme and female is submissive  but this book was different and I honestly freaking want more, more, more.Luke has a few issues he needs to resolve.I loved Olivia's character the most, she's quite the fiesty one. This book will definitely make you Hot!I highly recommend you read this book especially if you want to know how it goes with a female Domme and a male submissive.I can't wait to read more from this author.

Tempting the Domme is the seventh book in the Stronghold Doms series by Golden Angel. This is a sexy, kinky, erotic, BDSM romance with drama, suspense, mystery, tension, and danger. Golden Angel is a new-to-me author, so I was intrigued by what I would find between the covers. It was only as I started to read the story that I noticed that this is the seventh book in a series, and even though this book can be read as a standalone, I will be going back to read the others now too and see what they are all about. I would normally prefer a Dom story but was a little intrigued to see if I would enjoy this style as much. I am glad that I took the plunge, as the story was really great.
The story is set around a new, exclusive BDSM club called Marquis. Olivia Williams is the manager, as well as being a Domme. She’s strong, confident, stubborn and a bit of a control freak. Luke Evans is a silent partner in the club, so technically her boss. This doesn’t sit well with her, especially since there is chemistry between them. Luke is a mans man, confident and in control- but he has a weakness for bossy women when it comes to the bedroom. But, he hasn’t really explored the BDSM lifestyle.
Follow along as Luke signs up for the class for new submissives and watch as the events unfold. There will be plenty of heat that will leave you needing to cool down.
The story is well written with detailed and descriptive scene setting- the author makes a point of really elaborating on aspects of the whole BDSM ‘lifestyle’, and I loved this attention to detail.
The story is interesting, fun, kinky- had me completely absorbed by it right from the beginning.
I will definitely read more of this author’s work!

Thank you, Golden Angel!

Tempting the Domme is the seventh book in the Stronghold Doms series. This book was my first introduction to this particular series. I don’t normally read books out of order if I can help it, but this book caught my attention. It can be read as a standalone, even though the epilogue leaves the series open to continue.

I really enjoyed getting to see the world of submission from a male’s experience. I also liked how the author addresses the mental/emotional aspects of what it is like for a male sub to fully embrace who they are without feeling like there is something wrong with them, how they think, or their likes and dislikes.

Another thing I liked about this book is the variety of characters. Many different aspects of the lifestyle are mentioned in the book in relation to different characters. The author has done a great job of expanding the content beyond the typical Dom/sub subject matter found in most books.

One extremely important thing this author has done it to be sure to include aspects of the lifestyle such as negotiating boundaries, and the idea of safe and consensual play. Many books don’t mention these important parts of any healthy alternative lifestyle relationship, whether for a single scene or the long term. Trust and communication are paramount in these relationships and interactions. It was nice to see an author make a mention.

Tempting the Domme is definitely a book meant for those 18 and over. There are explicit scenes described within these pages 😉

I really enjoyed this reading experience and I look forward to reading more books in the series.

Dom versus Domme…which one will win in this scenario? Tempting the Domme by Golden Angel is the 7th book in the Stronghold Series. I’ve never read any of the books but I decided to read this one because they focused on a female Domme. There aren’t many books that do that. This one is unique because you have a Dom named Luke who is willing to become a switch for a change with the Domme named Olivia. The power struggle between the two is quite intense and down right hot. The fight that Olivia battles over wanting Luke is something anyone can relate to. Luke being one of the owners of the club that Olivia manages puts Olivia in a tight bind. However, Luke is steadfast and is willing to submit to anything that she dishes out just for a chance with her. So what does he do? He takes the beginners Submissive class! The dynamic between all of the characters is amazing. They all have awesome personalities and there is a bond that all of them share. The sex scenes are intense and oh my gosh…just WOW! Now just like any other series…I suggest starting from the beginning with Book 1 even though you don’t need to. The reason I say this is because the other characters from the other books have their own stories and when they are incorporated in the book, it’s easier to follow along. But again…you don’t need to read the first 6 books to read this one. The author is amazing in the way that she tells this story. She gives you what you need to feel like you are really apart of the story. Complete page turner! I loved it! I can’t wait to start from the beginning!

by Golden Angel
5 Stars

Tempting the Domme by Golden Angel is seventh installment of the Stronghold Doms series. This series can be read as a standalone and I look forward to reading the rest of this series. This is the story of Olivia and Luke. Olivia is a strong and independent woman that always wants control, especially in the bedroom. She is not into having relationships, but doesn’t mind having play partners. Luke co-owns a construction company, Stronghold, with a couple of friends. Luke is a confident man but doesn’t mind having a bossy woman in the bedroom. When Olivia and Luke meet, little did he know that he was going to be so strongly attracted to Olivia. But as Olivia is trying to figure out how she is going to handle Luke, she realizes she has a stalker and is in danger. Luke starts spending time with Olivia in order to keep her safe. What will Olivia do when Luke tells her that he is willing to submit to her? This book is a scorcher, the chemistry between Olivia and Luke is off the charts. Golden Angel writes an easy flowing story that grabs your attention from the beginning and glues you to you seat through the steamy BDSM scenes. You have suspense, some laughs, and steamy scenes all rolled up into one great story. This is my first book by Golden Angel and I will be making time to go back read the books from the beginning of the series.

Tempting the Domme by Golden Angel is the seventh book in her Stronghold series. I read this one as a standalone novel and while you can do that I would highly recommend that you read them in order because there are a lot of characters that cross over in each book.
This story is about Olivia, the only Domme is a circle of Doms, and Luke, a man that is used to getting what he wants. What Luke wants more than anything is to be Olivia’s Sub. Unfortunately he also happens to be her boss which makes the entire dynamic a bit awkward, something that Olivia is determined to not let happen. These two can’t stay away from each other for long and soon the passion between them ignites into something that Olivia has never felt before. Luke is able to make her feel things that she had denied herself for a very long time. However not everything is as wonderful as their newfound relationship. Olivia has caught the eye of more than just Luke and the danger is all too real.
I loved this book. The interaction between all of the characters was genuine and well thought out and written even better. I loved the loving and tender relationship that grew between Olivia and Luke that shows that even in a BDSM relationship real love knows no limits. The plot was also well thought out with just enough suspense to keep me turning page after page late into the night. A very well deserved five out of five for the first book I have read in this series, but definitely not my last.

I admit I am both a little in love and a bit scared of Olivia, but I figure she wouldn’t want it any other way!
I had never read a book that went into any kind of detail on what it would be like to be a male submissive, let alone one new to the BDSM scene all together. It just made their relationship all that more interesting. I loved how he would not give up, no matter how much she deterred him and secretly wanted him to keep doing it. Again, I was so very happy to see the rest of the gang intertwined throughout their story. Even the “background” characters are well developed and pull you in! The way they tease one another in one breath and stand in the gap for them in the next is the epitome of true friendship.
I love that Olivia is like a “mother hen” to all of her friends, and especially the new Doms! (Baby Doms!) Her strength of character is never more on display than when she is protecting those around her, and I love that! Of course, the book entails quite a bit of sex… one might worry that it would become monotonous, or risk describing too much of the same thing over and over- but it never gets old, you do NOT want to skip over anything, if anything you want to re-read it! Sexy does not even adequately cover the moment Luke allows Olivia total control over him- SO, SO, HOT!
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great story that feels believable and pulls you in from the very first page!

Golden Angel has created a fun and kinky world in her Stronghold Doms series. It's nice to see a whole group of friends who are supportive of each other and their kinks and feelings. Olivia has been one of the members of that group and she's been a stable member of the group and has helped more than one couple get together. There is one way that Olivia stands out from the other women in her group. She's not a sub, she's a Domme.

When some of the guys in her friend group open a new club, Marquis, she's hired in to manage the club part of that. That means she has a lot of contact with Luke, a silent partner and the person who did all the reno work on the building. They are attracted to each, but Olivia is pretty sure that it's not going to work because she thinks he's a dominant person, and she doesn't do dominant guys. When she finds out that he's a sub, then it's even harder to fight off the attraction, but she sees him as her boss, and you just don't play where you work.

I loved this story. It's nice to see a well done F/m story. There aren't as many of them as there are M/f, which is too bad. It's a pretty hot dynamic, and Golden Angel has written a hot and sexy story and a strong love story. Definitely, a great read and I'm glad to have read it. My biggest problem with it? Olivia calls Luke Cupcake and that made me hungry.

Review Tempting the Domme was a book I was really looking forward to and it was well worth savoring. Hmmm Hmmm - this book made me so hot and bothered!

Tempting the Domme is a typical the romance between her domme (Olivia) and her newbie sub (Luke) but with an emotional depth that made this book truly compelling. Luke knows he likes bossy women in the bedroom, so much so he ends up investing in a new upscale BDSM club without having tried the lifestyle. Olivia is resistant to being with him because he's her boss. While Olivia's conflict is a significant obstacle in the romance, it is Luke's acceptance of his desires that make the book.

Luke is comfortable in his sexuality and his desire to be dominated, but Olivia likes to claim a man's a$$. Luke is not sure how he feels about that aspect of their potential relationship. He has entered Olivia's world and been fully accepted as he is, but wonders what this means about his self-worth.

I read Tempting the Domme as a standalone with no issue. There are lots of supporting players in the book that have clearly already had their stories told in early books, but that did nothing to diminish this read.

Super hot and sexy -a must read for those who love a woman in control and the men who love them!

Tempting the Domme (Stronghold Doms Book 7) by Golden Angel

5 Stars

This will be kind of a confusing review. I liked everything about this book except for what the book was about. This is a chosen genre for me, but I strongly prefer the roles being reversed. I took a chance thinking maybe just maybe this one would be the one that would change my mind about the role reversal. I really liked Luke and I really did like Olivia but their part of the story did not appeal to me and that is because Im an alpha male addict. I however did give this book 5 stars because it truly is a book that I would have loved had the subject matter been different. Because of this and how well this was written I absolutely plan to start at the beginning of this series because the dynamics that were portrayed with all of the characters in this book were amazing. I've already downloaded the first one and can't wait to read it!! Not sure what I was thinking starting a series at book 7 anyway lol.

I loved the storyline, I just didn't love the roles played if that makes sense, and this is simply a case of personal preference. I loved how the flow of the story was so smooth and there were no filler words, her style is exactly why I love reading, so in a nutshell...This author has a new fan and I can't wait to read more from her.

Tempting the Domme by Golden Angel is the seventh book in her Stronghold Doms series, and the only one which features a Domme, which really intrigued me and gosh my intrigue paid off. Tempting the Domme follows the Stronghold Domme, Olivia, and her meeting of the one person she wasn't expecting at all, Luke. Those in the Stronghold group all try to match Olivia with her perfect sub, but it wasn't until Luke that Olivia was ready for anything more than a Domme-sub relationship. What made this book so interesting is that while Luke is a sub in the relationship, he is a total Dom outside of the bedroom and that role isn't played often or well in books. Watching Olivia and Luke come alive both in and out of the bedroom really made this book stick out for me, not only because of the dynamics that they shared but the way that their story was written just drew me in. I hope to see Olivia and Luke in future books because I want to know more about them, and the relationship that this story brought about. Golden Angel hit this one out of the park, I picked up all the other books in this series, and can't wait to read them all in order. While this book is a part of a series, it can be read as a standalone even though the characters from other books do make allot of appearances in this one.

Tempting the Domme (Stronghold Doms book 7)
By Golden Angel
5 stars

This book was pretty HOT and I absolutely loved it!! This is the first book that I have read from this series and I absolutely have got to read the rest of them. I had no problem reading it as a standalone but the secondary characters were so intriguing that I want to read their stories too!
I loved Luke and Olivia! Olivia was a fantastic character and I loved her straightaway. She didn’t stand for anything so on the outside seemed hard and uncaring but the more I read about her I knew she was anything but. I could tell there was a huge attraction between her and Luke from the moment they were both in the same scene. I could feel the tension and chemistry between them. I think because I have read so many books with Dom/sub relationships in them it was really interesting and a little refreshing to read a Domme/sub story – I loved reading the differences between the two especially from a male subs point of view.
Whilst yes this book is primarily a Domme/sub book there was a nice little suspense storyline running through it as well which meant there was more going on than just lots of hot sex!!
A really good book and I definitely recommend it! After reading the epilogue I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!

Tempting the Domme by Golden Angel is the seventh book in the Stronghold Doms series and is a story around Olivia and Luke, Will she give into his wishes or will it just be strictly business?

This is the first story I have read in this series and by this author but I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions between all the main characters, although the story centre's around these two fascinating characters I loved the overall family feel of this book. The story was fast paced and built up the suspense in the right places, the characters were believable and you felt invested in their stories and interactions.

The tenderness showed by both characters trying to wrestle with these conflicting feeling made for an interesting reading. I loved the way that Luke could talk to the guys within their circle and not feel like he was being betrayed by them and the sisterhood feeling with the ladies was refreshing to read.

I loved that this centred around a Domme as most of the BDSM books have a strong alpha male at the heart of it and the woman is the shy one with no experience, but this book showed that a strong Domme woman can be vulnerable at times especially what she has to put up with throughout the book.

I can not wait to read the series from the beginning to find out how the rest of this band of misfits got together.
