Lucy Valentine hopes to become the next fashion icon, but she’s suddenly back in her hometown when her big city dreams are derailed. It’s supposed to be temporary, but when she accidentally breaks into the home of the rugged, outrageously hot new guy in town, she is faced with a new challenge—trying to ignore her attraction to the stubborn cowboy.
Former bull rider Ford Hunt gave up the rodeo and moved to Sweet Home, Texas, to help his father run the family’s raw dairy ranch. He doesn’t have time for distractions, like the sexy redhead he can’t seem to get off his mind.
But before they know it, Ford and Lucy are tangled up in the bedsheets. As their attraction burns hotter, will they risk it all to have it all?

The heroine never wanted to go back to her small TX home town, at least not without having accomplished her dream of being a fashion designer. The hero went from the rodeo to running a dairy ranch. With such different career paths how did the two meet? Well I will tell you it started with her getting into a house that was now owned by a stranger and that stranger meeting her as he comes out of the bathroom wet from a shower with a towel wrapped around his hips. It only gets funnier and sexier from there. She's looking for his half-brother and he just wants her out of his house. You don't always get want you want. Read this funny, but romantic and sexy story for yourself. Life can change so quickly, especially when your not looking for it. Pick up this book and read how life can get so tangled up that your life plans just get shot all to heck.
Knocked it out of the park!!! You know those movies that you have watched over and over but never tire of? You have certain parts of the movie that you wish you could highlight because they funny as all get out? Take that premise and instead of a movie, it is a book!! There isn't enough stars! I laughed out loud while reading and was asked what was so funny? Picture me trying to set a scene with an older couple, a calf and a cat in a barn with the hunky rancher to my father while zipping down the interstate. I found my next book boyfriend and where I want to move to, soon. Sweet Home reminded me of many of the small towns around me as in the fact, everyone knows everyone's business, some times before you know your own. But if you ever need a hand, just call. Some call it neighborly thing to do but we just call it like it is, it is just the thing one does because you should. If we are treated to other Sweet Home stories, I do hope we catch up with Lucy and Ford.
This was a great read that I had a hard time putting down. Ford and Lucy are just great. Ford is a little on the grumpy side, but Lucy brings out a different side of him. My favorite part of this book is the banter between Lucy and Ford. I laughed quite often while reading this book. This is definitely a book that I would recommend because it brings the heat and humor, but it's also a light heartfelt story. It's exactly the kind of book I was looking for to read.
Perfect small town romance. Lucy Valentine returns home for a quick trip to save her big city career. The town might be her small home town, but it's not the same as when she left. Everything is new, even the hot hunky rancher. Ford is only looking to simply ranch and help his family out, not fall for the pretty city gal. Then everything gets all tangled up for the both of them. I really enjoyed Ford and Lucy, how they worked against and with each other. Heck, I even liked Tess, Lucy's nemesis of a cousin. The story was full of fun wit, flowed easily to read and had great character chemistry.
I could not put this book down! Run don't walk to the nearest e-retailer to buy this book! You will not be disappointed! Ford & Lucy will have you laughing, cheering, and fanning yourself!
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. Lucy following her dream in fashion hopes to be promoted to the big city but finds true love in her small town. Ford giving up his rodeo life to work the ranch with his father. A twist that keeps your interest.
