A Jewel for Royals

“Morgan Rice's imagination is limitless. In another series that promises to be as entertaining as the previous ones, A THRONE OF SISTERS presents us with the tale of two sisters (Sophia and Kate), orphans, fighting to survive in a cruel and demanding world of an orphanage. An instant success. I can hardly wait to put my hands on the second and third books!”
--Books and Movie Reviews (Roberto Mattos)

From #1 Bestseller Morgan Rice comes an unforgettable new fantasy series.

In A JEWEL FOR ROYALS (A Throne for Sisters—Book Five), Sophia, 17, gets word that Sebastian, her love, is imprisoned and set to be executed. Will she risk it all for love?

Her sister Kate, 15, struggles to escape the witch’s power—but it may be too strong. Kate may be forced to pay the price for the deal she made—and to live a life she doesn’t want to.

The Queen is furious at Lady D’Angelica for failing to woo her son, Sebastian. She is prepared to sentence her to the Lead Mask. But Lady D’Angelica has her own plans, and she won’t go down so easily.

Cora and Emeline finally reach Stonehome—and what they find there shocks them.

Most shocking of all, though, is Sophia and Kate’s brother, a man who will change their destinies forever. What secrets does he hold about their long-lost parents?

A JEWEL FOR ROYALS (A Throne for Sisters—Book Five) is the fourth book in a dazzling new fantasy series rife with love, heartbreak, tragedy, action, adventure, magic, swords, sorcery, dragons, fate and heart-pounding suspense. A page turner, it is filled with characters that will make you fall in love, and a world you will never forget.

Book #6 in the series will be released soon.

“[A Throne for Sisters is a] powerful opener to a series [that] will produce a combination of feisty protagonists and challenging circumstances to thoroughly involve not just young adults, but adult fantasy fans who seek epic stories fueled by powerful friendships and adversaries.”

Excellent series although I don't know why the audiobook narrator changed. Not as good, in my opinion.

An excellent part five of the series where two sisters battle forces in various ways.

It is a world of cruelty, where magic, or any kind of difference, is rooted out and destroyed. It is a tale of power and those who seek it and also is one about loyalty, love and friendships.

The cast of characters are intriguing - some good, some bad and some misguided...all fit well into the story.

There are several threads to the story, which together make for a compelling read. It is fast-paced and very well written. The world-building is realistic - the whole story thus believable, despite the fantasy genre.

Who knows what will happen next? I can only guess and look forward to more.

Highly recommended.

Listen to the audiobook. 2.5 stars. The story is fine but at this point I feel like the books are annoyingly short. Like in an earlier one, part of the timeline feels questionable. It took forever for some characters to get to a place, but then they seem to make it to another country in the opposite direction in a day.

As for the audiobook, they changed the narrator. This one did really good with explanations and changing their tongue but I like the first one better and there were some questionable pronunciations and accents on this one.

I love all the action in this series. Almost every chapter seems to have some serious conflict! This one lost a little shine for me since Sophia made what seemed to me a really stupid decision.

But, overall, some really cool twists and turns. A new character I'm already loving, too.

Im so invested! Stonehome has been located! Sophia and Kate have a brother, Lucas. Sophia hears that her love has been imprisoned by his brother and she needs to get him out. Kate is still struggling with the witch. This book had so many twists that I was on the edge of my seat. Once again we have a cliff hanger…Duh Duh Duh.

With all the things going on in book 5 and the twists that Morgan implements in his story(ies), it's hard to get an idea of what his plan is going to include. He keeps us on the edge of our seats. Can't wait for the next book.

I love this series. I get so engrossed in the various characters and their struggle to create a peaceful existence between nobles who all seem to ascend to the Throne.

Great tale! Totally invested in Sophia, Sebastian, Kate, Cora, Emeline, The Isjemme family and the Ashton gang. Great fantasy. Hard to put down. We know Sophia will become queen, but will Sebastian ever get out of trouble/jail long enough to be a proper husband?

A captivating story that had me purchasing the next book in the series before I finished the current one! Even though the story is a fantasy, we all can relate in some way to each character and their struggles throughout the series.

The plot thickens

And just when you think one of the characters is down... the plot twists, down another fun path. Rice is doing a fantastic job of adding layers to the characters and the storyline.
