Logan Morales is a bad boy omega. He’s lived a hard life on the streets of La Bonita. When's he scooped up during a police raid, it looks like it’s all over for good.

Alpha's Bad Boy

Oooo if you love M-preg books this is definitely one to pick up and read. Even by it's self you really won't be lost. But mind you this is book three of a series so far.
A detective whose trying to be a normal underwraps alpha, doesn't realize what he feels is actually normal. But when a petty time thief named Logan and a plaything of the mafia boss Julio comes into the picture. Will knock him off his feet. And make him love sick enough to protect him at all costs. Even from those he works with at the police force. So keeping his informant alive is in his best interest. But on a tiny island who can you really trust when everyone could want the money Julio would give for a hit? Can he keep his promise to the little omega?

The third book in the installment in the Trouble in Paradise series, which can be read as a standalone. I do recommend readers read "Our Paradise" (it is not an installment in this series) first since Lacey Aguado made an appearance in that book first and she again makes an appearance in this book and let's spoilers drop about her brother Liam Aguado and his mate Simon Duncan. Our Paradise lays out the bare bones of the case involving Julio Romero, the drug lord being processed in this book and causing all sorts of issues.

The couple focus of this book is Logan Morales, an omega who was the lover/main "mistress" to the drug lord and confidant and Ramos Fuentes, a detective on the case looking to further his career and make sure Julio doesn't get away with his crimes. When Logan is rounded up, Ramos sees his chance to recruit Logan as an informant in exchange for police protection. The two are attracted to each other but fight it. Logan also isn't so keen on being an informant but Ramos is quite persuasive.

The introduction on the new idea of omega pregnancy seemed very late and unnecessary considering there was two other books in the series and a side story and it just came out of left field in this book. In all the books I've read by this author so far it seemed ridiculous that the alpha's and omegas never seem to take care until pregnancy happens when they know that becoming pregnant is possible between alphas and omegas. Barring that the story read fine and ended well. I wish there had been a bit more of bang but it was entertaining and helped pass the time.

An ARC was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 3rd book in the Trouble in Paradise series.

Omega Logan Morales is a bad boy who has lived a hard life. He grew up on the streets of La Bonita and did what he had to do to survive. Sometimes that meant getting involved with some unsavory people.

Alpha Ramos Fuentes is a detective just coming to terms with his alpha status. His father was not kind to him while growing up because he was an alpha so he never wanted to embrace what he truly is.

Logan and Ramos are thrown together when Logan is arrested in a raid and has information about the target of Ramos' investigation. Ramos is undeniably attracted to him and never wanted so badly to give into the temptation until he met Logan. They work together and immediately Ramos feels very protective of Logan. Logan has no problem making things more difficult for the detective knowing that he is obviously attracted to him. He loves to tease and seems to be particularly enjoying himself with Ramos.

Logan is faced with danger when he becomes a target and Ramos will do just about anything to protect him.

This is another great book in this series. I look forward to see what I will discover about the characters that inhabit this beautiful island. Logan and Ramos were a perfect match and as always, the author seemed to find a way for the interests to compliment each other. They are the two halves of a whole. On to the next. Can't wait.

Another awesome book in the Trouble in Paradise series! This book takes up where the last one left off with the raid on Julio's club. This finds Julio's "omega" Logan in jail and under pressure from the cops to turn evidence on Julio. We also see an appearance of Lacey Aguado who in the beginning really ticks me off as well as Detectives Ramos Fuentes. Logan doesn't want to give evidence because he knows that he will be killed. Ramos and Logan have a true alpha/omega link and while it is never addressed I believe that Logan my have gone into "heat" once he and Ramos furthered their relationship. Logan has threats against him and a hit put out on him from Julio and we find out that Ramos' partner Nacho is dirty. Logan saves his own life and is cleared of charges but it hits Ramos hard that his best friend tried to kill his omega.

This was an awesome read and I really enjoyed it...I cannot wait for the next one! I was offered an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review which I believe I have done. I hope that I have given you enough to want to read!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

From the beginning there were sparks!!

Ramos and Nacho had been detectives and partners for ten years. The recent raid on the island's mob boss's club had netted dozens of thugs and assorted criminals. One of those criminals was an omega Logan, and he was a handful. Over the next few days Ramos who had been in the closet all of his life would find out what it meant to be an Alpha.

This book is an excellent third book in this series. As with the previous two books, the primary characters are well fleshed out and the secondary characters are also nicely developed. The plot lines are interesting with a couple of twists when you don't expect them.

I really enjoyed this book and found both the characters and the plot engaging.

I loved reading this, it's my favorite in the series yet! It couples the romance with a suspence plot which makes this a good candidate for a one-sitting-read. Loved the characters and their drama a lot, though Ramos' reasons for being closeted seemed rather vague.
I would have given five stars if I hadn't - again - been disappointed by the ending. There is a whole chunk of the story missing between the last chapter and the epiloge.
Also again calling this an mpreg novel as a subtitle is just false advertising. The pregnancy happens as a cherry on top of the happy end thing and is not actually part of this story.

Intense

I love this series of books. Austin Bates takes you along on the journey with his characters. You don't necessarily know where you're going, but you can't wait to get there. The love his characters have for each other is beautiful, and you can't wait to find your own if you haven't already. I would recommend all of the books in this series to everyone because you can lose yourselves in the love and the story..

Best one in the series

This book was definitely my favorite of the three in this series. I connected with both Logan and Ramos from the first and loved seeing them explore the attraction that they felt.

I was sad to find out that my guess about how pernicious Julio was turned out to be true, but it was perfectly set in the book to provide maximum engagement worth the story.

And, of course, I loved that Logan and Ramos were able to find their HEA.

MM. Alpha/Omega. Ramos loves working as a detective, following in his father's footsteps. The takedown of a drug lord is a big deal and lands Logan in his lap. Ramos is trying to hide his alpha status but Logan's presence calls to him. A cop and a criminal?! A great read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Dumb

Really? I had never read or even heard of Mpreg romances. A guy getting knocked up? Dumb as they come. You want to write about a gay romance, realize it is not like a standard romance. The relationship is simply not the same. Quit trying to make it that way. Dumb genre, and a dumb story.

Logan had it rough and the streets. His involvement in the bad guys gets him in trouble.
Along come ramos detective needs info but logan wont give if he does his a dead man.
But together they need to work it out if logan wants to be free and maybe have a better life then crime.

Interesting

A fun and interesting story. Alpha and omega are not my favorite types of characters but the story is very well done, not you routine love story.

Fast and exciting.

This story was fast and outrageous. Crime bosses and bad guys, closeted gay alphas and precocious omega make an exciting story.

Good reading

I like the plot, the characters are ok enough, a romantic well detailed story, even without significant action the story keep you up
