If you had your life to live over again, how would you change it? That's the main idea in these three novels (at least I think they're novels and not documentaries). I wasn't sure about reading them, but in aiming to click on another book on my Kindle, I hit the Middle Falls 1-3, and I'm glad I did.
This was one of those rare books that I was anxious to get back to because I wanted to see what happened next. I was consistently surprised by the directions the plots took. This was good enough that I will pony up the $6.99 that the books 4-6 and 7-9 cost.
The stories are not light-hearted, but they do not wallow in despair and stay there. That is another big plus if you are reading them, like I did, during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I don't want rainbows and unicorns in my reading, but at this time I didn't need gloom and doom. So if you need a distraction from the real world which has been pretty grim, grab these books.

I loved this series, it just kept me reading, I forced myself to put it down to savor it just a little longer. I have preordered his next installment and now I am doing the hurry up and wait dance............ I was so absorbed in all the ways one life mixed into another, the outcome, and cheering on of changed lives. This is not your ordinary time travel book series. It is limited to each person, and I have added Mr. Inmon to my "following" list of authors. I think it makes you think about how your life may be interacting with another persons life, and so it goes on and on. I do not want to give away any of this books wonderful details, only know it is one of those type of stories you can't put down. Get this and enjoy the ride.

Shawn Inmon has a brilliant idea for a time travel novel that just keeps on going. The first book starts an introduction to a community of people that you get to know over and over with this book and the following books in the series. I like the method used for time travel, well, maybe not the death part, but that isn't a spoiler, since you find that out in the first bit. The books remind me of the best of the movie "Groundhog Day", but they last longer than a day. In the commentary of that movie, in the first version of the script the protagonist would have lived ten thousand years in a very dark existence. This series doesn't go there. The themes of these books often show how a person without any redeeming qualities can change for the better. I like the hope that this series has and it reminds me that all of humanity has the spark of good, the potential to be their best. Do that, please.

I really do enjoy the Middle Falls series but its pretty much poor copy of Replay by Ken Grimwood (1998) which all stems from the Groundhog's Day genre.
I do like seeing place names from Coos Bay, to Eugene, to Roseburg, to Newport, to Crescent City to to Portland showing up a PNWer, and the series is fun but it's wantonly derivative from Replay. I could form a bullet point list but if you're read Replay, then its moot.... and Replay happens to be the more interesting, and feels more in line with the reality of someone living their same life again.
It's a fun series but cheapened by being lesser copy.

Thought Provoking Read with an Interesting Plot
I liked how all three books were connected. Reading the books back to back and seeing how their lives changed hooks you from the first page. The villain from the first book ends up being a sympathetic character who really tries to redeem himself in the second book. Only complaint was there was a section in the second book that was a repeat from the first (their time at the Hartfield Military Academy) that I found myself having to skim through, but that was the only time that happened. Will definitely read more from this author.

Spectacular!
Every one of these stories, as well as #4, are awesome! I felt I got to know every character, cheer for them or boo them. As far reading them on my Kindle, I have to say I was equally impressed with the quality of editing. So often the Kindle editions are chock full of typos, grammatical errors, etc., they divert from the stories. The books grabbed me and held me by the author's talent as well as that of his proofreaders. Thank you all for some great hours of reading. Can't wait for #5 to hit my reader!

LOVE the series
I am very impressed with the 1st 3 bks of the series. I read through them quickly cuz they were very entertaining to read. You can't help but like all three, Thomas Michael and Dominick. In the 1st bk, Michael was not a favorable character but his SECOND CHANCE was an about face. At 1st I wasn't certain I'd like the 3rdbk cuz I didn't think Dominick was a strong enough character in the 2nd bk. But in the 3rd, u can't help but root for him and his quest for Emily. If there's more I WILL READ!

Engaging reincarnation story
This isn't strictly a time travel story where the hero can jump backwards and forwards in time but it is an engaging reincarnation story. The first and second books were very enjoyable. Unfortunately I found the third book a bit tedious but felt obliged to finish, it to close out the trio, and in the hope that there was a satisfying twist at the end. There was not.
I might read the next batch of books but not now.

So good I may even buy the sequel!
I haven't actually BOUGHT a book in several years. (I also don't give 5 stars very often.) This was very entertaining. I cared about each protagonist. Each book seemed so real that it eclipsed the one before, yet they were all tied together seamlessly. For a self-published book, there were very few errors (mostly missing quotation marks and hyphens). So, good job!

February 5, 2023Just brilliant and can't wait to read the next one. A recommendation from a friend and one I will continue to read. The characters are believable and I quickly became very invested in them. I'm not going to give any more away than that other than to say it's about people whose lives are cut short and what happens when they come back instead of dying. Well worth the one credit I paid on audible for the omnibus edition.

Great storyline
Books 1-3 were great. They were unique. I throughly enjoyed reading them. They were about reincarnation (several times) for each character. This writer has a great imagination. If you're tired of the same old same old give them a try. I don't think you will regret it. I'm going to start book 4 right now.

Wow!
Fantastic page-turners! I read the first book a few years ago. I reread it recently and found out that there are actually 12 in the series! Book one was great. Book two was even better! Book three was just as good. These are real page-turners; very interesting!!! I can't wait to read the next ones in the series!

An outstanding read
I think I've only ever left one other review but the quality of these books is such that this author deserves far more recognition.
Really good characters, great stories. What more could you want?

A fun intriguing read!
A wonderfully thought out series that explores not only what would happen if you were sent back to relive your life, but delves into why people turn out the way they do and the events in their lives that set them on a path. My first read from this author and I am impressed!

I found this one a little hard to get into. Overall it's a good story. The cover I thought was a bit amateurish, and doesn't link well with the story. I particularly enjoy science fiction in the Asimov, Heinlein approach This one certainly isn't in that style. The best time travel novel I've read this year was Hawaiian Intervention, which is a completely different novel, but most enjoyable

This is a unique "groundhog day" type time travel series with a bit of a twist. It is hard to rate all three together so I averaged to a 4.6 rounded up to a 5. I really enjoyed the redemption twists and behind the scenes concept. It was interesting hearing the perspectives change between the characters and their feature books. I look forward to reading more in this series in the future...or the past if I am sent back!

So Interesting!
These stories are very interesting. The characters become involved with one another but yet there is a whole world that they do not see until a certain time in their lives. The question of “what would you do differently?” Is fun to explore.

This is now my favorite time travel book. I was pulled in and it kept me interested to the end. Well-written, characters are realistic, interesting and original. Loved it!! I want more please!

When I started reading this series, I didn’t know what to expect. I thought it was maybe going to involve some anomaly in Middle Falls that would cause people to unexpected find themselves in the past. I discovered that the method is unique and makes for very interesting stories.

I listened to these three books on Audible. After the first chapter of the first book I was hooked. A great story of growth and character development. I will admit my favorite was the 2nd book The Redemption of Michael Hollister and my least favorite was the last book.

Wonderful books
Although my belief system is firmly in place, I enjoyed reading these books. They give the reader a different insight as to what could possibly happen after death, be it accidentally, or by your own hand.

This is a very interesting time travel concept imagine if you had a chance to go back in time and fix things you screwed up during your life except it doesn't always work that way I recommend this book it will keep you up at night

My rating is based on the type of story this is, and not on the writing. I found the storylines depressing, and I don't need that kind of influence in my life. I do depressed way too well on my own.
