Hot SEAL Redemption

Rate this book
Bailey Jones doesn't know jack about babies, but she knows how much it sucks to have a deadbeat father. So when her sister drops off her newborn baby and then disappears, Bailey is ready and willing to confront anyone, including a six-foot-two, sexier-than-sin Navy SEAL sniper, and make him do his duty.

Alexei "Camel" Kamarov is not the sort of man to carelessly father a kid, but as the oldest of six, he does know a thing or two about babies. The firebrand on his doorstep might have mistakenly tagged him as the baby daddy, but Bailey is cute, and Alexei is more than willing to give her a hands-on class in Baby 101.

When a ruthless criminal comes looking for the missing sister--putting Bailey and the baby in danger--the situation escalates. Bringing them under his roof and enlisting his HOT teammates to help find Bailey's sister are easy. But as Alexei and Bailey draw closer, passions erupt and feelings tangle.

That's nothing compared to the danger lurking in the shadows--and the test that awaits them both. Bailey will need to give everything she's got to redeem Alexei's faith in love. And he'll have to move heaven and earth to save her--before someone takes her away from him for good...

But what he didn’t understand was why he cared what she thought. Why it bothered him. Why he couldn’t get her out of his head no matter how he tried.

It's official; Lynn Raye Harris is the queen of sexy romantic suspense. It just doesn't get any better than the men of HOT, unless of course, it's the SEALs. With the teaser of Alexei's story in the previous book, I was already salivating for his story by the time I got my grabby little hands on this one. And it did NOT disappoint.

You really are a good guy, Alexei.”
He hesitated a moment. “No, I’m really not.” A chill slid down her spine at the coolness in his voice. “But I am right now.”

A knock on his door from a woman claiming that he's the father of her sister's newborn daughter is probably the last thing Alexei "Camel" Kamarov expects when he gets home from his recent mission. He's convinced the kid can't possibly be his, but there's something about the woman's tenacity and his inner gentleman that has him humoring her. She looks completely out of her element with the newborn, and being the oldest of six kids, he knows a thing or two. I swear, my ovaries melted a little every time I read just how amazing Alex was with the baby. *dreamy sigh*

Bailey was one of my favorite heroines in the series. This is a girl that grew up rough but didn't let that beat her down. With deadbeat parents and a young sister, she was forced to do what she has to in order to survive and make ends meet, and she's not apologetic about it. Yes, she's a stripper. And yes, Alexei's macho posturing over her interim job to get her through college rankles, but she's not about to let anyone belittle her for her choices. Man but I loved her backbone and tenacity. She had so much fire and passion to her, it's no wonder it didn't take long for Alexei to give in to the passion that brews between them from the very first meeting.

There's plenty of suspense with the mystery of just where her sister ran into and who exactly is after her. Of course there's plenty of action and cameos from the rest of the HOT team as they step in to protect Bailey from the threat against her.

HOT SEAL Redemption was an action packed ride from beginning to finish, with a sizzling slow burn romance and characters that I couldn't help but love. It was another fantastic addition to an addicting series, and as always I'm only left craving more.

Man, I love this series. I stayed up way too late to finish it, and it was so worth it.

Bailey and Alexei/Camel (y'all know I have a thing for hot Russians) start off with her yelling at him. Even though it takes a while for them to hook-up, the sexual tension between them keeps everything interesting. Her job really gets his panties in a twist. Plus throw in a bad guy looking for her sister that Alexei has to protect them from. And we get to see all of the gang, plus Ian Black. I so can't wait for Ian to fall...it's going to be epic.

I loved it! I know this series is all about the heroes (and they are yummy, hot and protective!), but I loved the heroine, Bailey, in this one. I enjoy a good, steamy sex scene--and there are several in this book--but I loved the conversations Alexei and Bailey shared even more. My favorite thus far in a great series!

5 HOT n SEXY Stars

OMG.....FLOVED, FLOVED, FLOVED this book!!!!! The writing was excellent, storyline was seamless and flowed perfectly throughout and what I LOVED was that although it was action packed and suspenseful it never once overshadowed or overpowered this beautifully perfect couple!

Bailey and Alexei, BOTH, perfect....5 Plus characters. Although I haven't read the previous books, I still felt like I had an understanding of the secondary characters.

Alexei and Bailey were so freaking HOT....the sex scenes and sexual compatibility was OMFG spot on PERFECT, I never once skimmed:)

Yep, LOVED this story to pieces and now have gained another favorite author:)

Hot Seal Redemption was the fifth book in Lynn Raye Harris’ Hot Seal Team series. Although enjoyable in order, they can be read as a standalone.

I enjoyed both characters, Alexei “Camel” Kamarov and Bailey Jones. Camel was part of the HOT Navy Seal Team and had just gotten in from a mission when Bailey was banging on his door with her infant niece, claiming Camel was the father. It was a little comical and fun to watch. Harris took us through the two lives, the conflict, the temporary resolution and the relationship development. I enjoyed them together but there were a few parts that felt somewhat forced - but they felt right at the end. I also enjoyed the storyline. All in all, it was well written, enjoyable and entertaining.

Even after a mission the job of a Navy SEAL is never done. Alexei is stunned when Bailey yells at him that he's the father of her niece. Knowing how he operates it is highly unlikely little Ana is his, but he does the gentlemanly thing anyway. He protects Bailey, Ana and even Kayla (Bailey's sis). Turns out little sis has a motorcycle gang after something she has. This isn't the usual HOT assignment but the guys come together as brothers to protect their own. To follow the series you could start anywhere, unless you'd like to know the couples start at the beginning. My review was written voluntarily after reading an early copy.

Oh my god. Wow. How many times can I say a book is my favorite one? Because I know I’ve said this pretty much about all the seals books, but this one is quite possibly my favorite one out of them all. Like seriously.

I knew I was gonna like Alexei’s book, like knowing his name is Alexei, he’s Russian, trilingual (but learning a fourth language), dark hair and green eyes, has tats and oh, he’s perfect with babies and knows how to take care of them? God dang someone put this man on a pedestal so I can bow down to him. Literally perfect. Woo.

Alexei gets quite the shock when he’s suddenly woken up to someone pounding on his door, only to have said person be a woman with an infant claiming the child is his. Yeah, great way to be woken up right after returning home from a mission. But Alexei takes it in stride.

Bailey, who is actually said baby’s aunt, is overwhelmed and doesn’t know the first thing about baby’s. Her sister just suddenly dropped her infant off and left with nothing else except telling her that Alexei is the baby’s father. Problem is, Alexei knows he’s not and will do anything to prove it.

So as this couple waits for the paternity test results to come back, Alexei, being the sweet, kind man that he is, offers to help Bailey out with little baby Ana. Since Alexei is the oldest of six (and the last four were two sets of twins) he kinda knows his way around a baby. Let me tell ya, there is nothing more perfect that a big, strong, handsome man being tender and cute to a little baby. Literally nothing.

The tension and sparks between these two are just so perfect and the buildup to their relationship is literally everything. Not to mention the action and rescue that takes place. Y’all know how I feel about girl being kidnapped just when guy realizes he actually loves girl and when he gets the news he thinks it might be too late but now is hellbent and going insane on trying to rescue the love of his life while she’s in a life or death situation. Yeah, absolutely love that.

I can’t wait to see little snippets of this couple in the future, but for now, it’s time for some Adam and Quinn!

The couple: Alexei and Bailey

Romance genre: romantic suspense
Series: Hot Seal Team
Length: 284 pages

Plot: Bailey is at her wit's end. Her sister left her baby in her care and then took off, unreachable. But Bailey has one more play - the baby's father. Her sister named him, and all Bailey has to do is get this SEAL, Alex, to take responsibility for his child. When she goes to his apartment, though, he is insistent that there's no way the baby could be his. He'll take a DNA test just to be sure. In the meantime, he can see how much Bailey is struggling. She's working as a stripper to earn enough money to finish college. She wasn't meant to take care of a baby. Not only that, there are now people after her, connected to her sister and the baby. Alexei's SEAL team might be able to help her out with that, but Alexei probably doesn't need their help to solve the attraction he feels or Bailey.

Commentary: Alexei was kind of a jerk for the bulk of the story, but in the way that a commitment-phobic playboy is. They're always commitment-shy for such silly reasons. His is that his parents had lots of kids and fought all the time so he doesn't want to get married and have kids. Because obviously there's only one way to have a relationship. I shouldn't joke - the fear is real, I guess. Anyways, his fears were easily solved by talking to his mom, which begs the question: has he never had a serious talk with his mom before?
The thing I liked most about this book is the way that Alexei was so good with the baby, I also loved the way that Bailey stood up for herself as a stripper. She didn't let Alexei shame her for her chosen work.

This is Bailey and Alexei "Camel" Kamarov’s story. When Bailey’s sister drops off her newborn baby and disappears she has no problem chasing down the father. Alexei knows all about babies and would never carelessly get a woman pregnant. When Bailey shows up on his doorstep he is smitten. He agrees to help her out but stresses he is not the father. When danger comes for Bailey will he be able to protect her and the baby? With him being in constant contact with her and the baby it makes him start to feel. But will he be able to take on a woman with a baby forever if the danger that is after her sister end up taking her from them? Can he protect this family from a danger he never knows about? Or is he about to lose everything?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Sparks are flying left right and center for Camel and Bailey, two people who would never have met had Bailey's sister gone awol and left lil Ana behind claiming Camel to be the father. Loved the opening of the book, it grabbed me and the story was ON! I really loved how Lynn Raye Harris made Bailey's occupation ok and how it contributed to the story really well and how Bailey's place of occupation assisted with the story really well! The adventure built steadily, along with Camel and Bailey's attraction to each other and I enjoyed Ian Black's appearance. Of course, a highlight is always the epilogue which LRH, without fail, delivers another cliffhanger. The dashing ending is edge of the seat stuff when bad guys place is busted just in time and I'm intrigued as to who the other girl was. Another wonderful installment and a glimpse into the lives of other favorite characters. Please keep 'em coming Lynn, I LOVE them!

There is really nothing hotter than a guy who knows his way around a baby!  Alexei "Camel" Kamarov is the sniper of the HOT SEAL team. When Bailey Jones shows up at Alexei's doorstep with her niece Ana and tells him he's the baby's daddy, Alexei is pretty adamant that he’s not.  Having 5 younger brothers and sisters, he knows what causes that.  Alexei can see that Bailey is having a hard time learning the ropes with her niece though and kinda takes over.  Bailey is working a stripping job and trying to take care of Ana after her sister Kayla dropped the baby and disappeared.  She doesn't know what her sister has gotten herself into and once Alexei finds out the trouble Kayla (and by extension Bailey and Ana) are in, his protective instincts take over.  Bailey brings a new light to Alexei's world, making him question his "don't need/want a relationship" lifestyle, especially when trouble finds her.
This is my favorite HOT SEAL team book so far!  Alexei and Bailey are a great couple and like I said, guys that are good with babies are super hot. Pun intended!

I just wanna eat these seals up in this series each one is so special they melt your heart. In this one it centers around Bailey and Alexei whom thanks to her sister they cross paths. Besides a little bundle she has left with Bailey she also has brought trouble her way. Alexei being the kind of guy he is will not leave it alone and things will build from the get go. The anticipation that is built also between them leaves you antsy with oh my drooling along the way droppin on the pages. But a Seal will do the job right and get things squared away right with you nose to the page every step of the way in this one.

Hot Seals

This was the first time I’ve read a book by this author and man it kept me intrigued the whole time. I didn’t want to put it down because I didn’t want it to end but I was dying to know what would happen next. Alex and Bailey meet and butt heads instantly because of a misunderstanding but Alex being a gentleman decides to help her out even if he thinks he isn’t a nice guy. A book full of hot alpha seals and stubborn woman that keeps him on his toes. I loved the ups and downs, twists and turns, and a few times I wanted to smack Bailey’s sister but I am definitely going to continue to read more.

Wow!! Hot definitely describes this title!!
Bailey's sister Kayla dumps her baby girl on her and says she can't do it alone. She takes off and goes into hiding. Kayla told Bailey that Alexei was the father so she goes after him.
Alexei, Camel by nickname, takes both Bailey and baby Ana under his roof while he has a paternity test. He denies the baby is his.
Bailey works as a stripper and this for some reason infuriates Camel. Even though he does not do relationships, he wants Bailey. He is really good with Ana and Bailey loves him for this because she knows so little about how to do it.
Because Kayla is in hiding, this story becomes full of suspense and will keep you on the edge of your seat.
This book is extremely hot - both Bailey and Alexei could melt the pages.
I requested and ARC and offered my honest review in return. I highly recommend you read this book.

You know it's a good book when the hero is introduced and your first thought is "damn that girl's lucky." Bailey and Alexei were a great match. From the moment they met, there was an instant connection of ease and comfort. Their story is tender, heartwarming, emotional, and has an edginess to give it some very unexpected depth with a difficult subject. Each teammates' stories may have a guaranteed HEA, but they're all unique and take you on an emotional ride.

Although the bad guys are brought down in this one, I don't think we're done with a few more stories coming out of this MC and sex trafficking ring. I always love the tease at the end setting up the next poor (and very hot) sap who swears he'll never be tied down by a woman. He's not next, but I think Alex Bishop is becoming my new Ian Black... I NEED THEIR STORIES!!

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

Holy mother of sexy! Alex “Camel” Kamarov is the man dreams are absolutely made of. He is so alpha, yet so sweet and add in the tenderness with baby Ana. Wow!! Alex and Bailey were so perfectly paired with amazing chemistry and just enough banter to be cute but real. I want to see them with babies of their own!

This is actually a 3 ½ star review, but I don’t know how to put half an emoji down. Assume I drank that martini to cope with the presence of a baby and move on.

And actually, that’s kind of the whole of the issue I had here. Babies. I had one. She’s the light of my life, don’t get me wrong, but babies aren’t romantic or sexy in any way. They smell terrible, they interrupt everything, and their needs always come before your partner, your own, or anyone and everything else. This is because they are loud, and because there is no one else who can do anything for them. When babies try to do something for themselves it is an unmitigated disaster, witness one of my cousins pulling a pot of boiling water down onto himself as a baby.

So. Babies. Not romantic.

And that’s what drew me to this book, honestly. While the baby was presented as something that brought the two main characters together, it wasn’t ever presented as “romantic.” I liked that. Bailey’s sister abandons the baby into her care, with no warning and no forwarding address. And the baby doesn’t wind up striking some kind of Major Baby Fever event, either, because that would just be gross. Bailey and Alexei are good people – weirdly good in Alexei’s case – and they’re trying to do the best they possibly can by this tiny little creature.

You may be pleased to learn the baby isn’t on the page very often. Concern for her is an issue. Planning for her is an issue. Bailey learning to care for her is an issue. But we aren’t looking at eighty thousand words of diapers and drool here.

I always find myself a little hesitant to read het stuff that involves babies, because I find myself terrified that the book will be used to reinforce every negative hetero-patriarchal norm I’ve ever hated. Hot Seal Redemption didn’t do that. Bailey is a strong woman who does what she needs to do, in spite of the frankly terrible hand she’s been dealt in life. If I had half the determination and focus she has, I’d be in the Senate by now.

Alexei is a little different. He’s got some weird hangups around love, but they make sense for him and let me tell you, as someone who also has multiples in her genes I completely understand why he’s so scrupulous.

There are moments when I found myself cringing, more because of expectations set by other authors than because of anything Harris did. Harris, on the contrary, surprised me with the way those scenes played out. There was one instance that stands out. Bailey is an exotic dancer, and Alexei experiences a moment of jealous fury as he considers the men watching her. But then he checks himself, aided by her after he admits his issue, and recognizes that he doesn’t get to judge or say a damn thing because Bailey is not property.

Isn’t that awesome? I love it. Love it love it love it.

In fact, I generally liked Alexei. He followed the “strong, silent type” of hero model, but tempered by common sense and maturity. He went and talked things through to address his issues. He was also a genuinely kind man. Who else would open his home to a stranger and an infant – remember, loud and smelly – with absolutely no ties to him?

So why three and a half stars?

The “suspense” side of the plot was a little over the top. I know, I’m not exactly in a position to throw stones here, and a lot of people love it. I don’t want to give anything away, but the actual perpetrators came off as a bit of a caricature and didn’t feel integrated with the rest of the story.

Also, and this is going to feel silly, but the title didn’t make a lot of sense. The “Hot Seal” is part of the overall series theme, and people looking for romance involving Navy SEALs generally want the servicemen in question to be hot. But “Redemption?” Alexei hasn’t done anything – at least not on the page – for which he needs to be redeemed. On the contrary, he’s a damned saint. So is Bailey, really.

So I found myself staring at my e-reader going, “I was told there was a redemption here. Where is the redemption?” But there was not.

There was however some rousing violence toward the end, a hero and heroine that will restore your faith in humanity, and some very funny Navy SEALs. With Abs.

Hot Seal Redemption
HOT Seal Team, Book 5
Lynn Raye Harris, author

Fast paced, touching Seal moment, yet that exhilarating steamy read, I've come to love by Ms. Harris.

Alexei Kamarov, also known as, "Camel" to his team members has just returned from an assignment. He's exhausted and just wants to relax, kick back and maybe entertain a female companion. But Miss Bailey Jones has other plans.

Bailey appears on his doorstep demanding that he stand up and take responsibility for his offspring. Alexei agrees to a paternity test, knowing full well he's not the baby's father. Observing Bailey's lack of skills when it comes to parenting, Alexei offers his skilled touch when it comes to caring for baby Anastasia. Likewise, Alexei then agrees to help Bailey find her sister.

But wait, that's not all that's lurking in the shadows! Why did Kayla, Bailey's sister up and leave Ana with Bailey? Is she running or hiding from someone? Is Bailey now in danger? Read this moving, yet sexy story-line to get the answers for yourself.

I read the book first, and then was gifted an audio version from the author. The two narrators performed beautifully and were very engaging. I highly recommend this novel.

My Queen of Special OP’s delivers once again!

Camel is up and oh man I wasn’t disappointed... damn that SEAL has it all!

In a case of mistaken baby daddy identity a love story begins!

I loved Bailey, strong, independent and nothing damsel in distress about her. Their dynamics radiated off the page and what I like most about Camel and Bailey was their relationship was a slow burner, it flourished on the page.

The threat is a home soil one, not a sanctioned one but the team are as quick and efficient as always.

I love a sniper, and I love a slow burn. They go so well together because patience is what a sniper is made of. He can wait a mighty long time for just the right shot to bring down a target, so it’s no wonder it works so well in “HOT Seal Redemption.” It’s delicious to watch Alexei/Alex “Camel” Kamarov come unraveled, like an old sweater. You can’t shock a man like Alex with something as mundane claiming he’s the father of your sister’s baby. It’s out of the ordinary, for sure, but it won’t rattle him.

Now Bailey Jones, on the other hand? She’s a rattle and a drum, and a 3-piece band to Alex’s peace of mind. She throws him off center, and challenges him in so many ways. I loved that his teammates saw a completely different side of him when he was around Bailey. There’s great heat and suspense in “Redemption,” but there’s also an underlying theme here that I appreciate.

Alexei/Alex “Camel” Kamarov keeps telling Bailey that he’s not a good man, but I gotta wonder what his definition of “good” is. If he’s just doing what’s right, then isn’t THAT being a “good man”? Nice try, Alex, but we see right through you. Then again, it’s just fine and dandy that Bailey’s a strong, independent woman who can support herself, but he’s not OK with the way she does it: dancing as a stripper. She’s trying to earn money to get an education, to make a better life for herself and support herself and her niece, which he’s all onboard with, just not the WAY she’s doing it. But she’s really doing nothing wrong.

“… I’m just a dirty stripper, right?... Your hypocrisy has killed my appetite.”

Women are treated like objects. Like garbage. And even “good men” (and women) have double standards that they themselves don’t even realize society has drilled into us all.

Bailey: “… I’ve come to expect it. It’s what being a woman is all about. Watching out for yourself, always wondering if some guy means you harm. Thinking about where you’re safe and when you’re safe. Clothes, or lack of, don’t make you safe. A man who’d abuse you because you’re scantily clad would do it if you were fully clothed if he was given the chance.”

Alex: “You’re pissing me off at my gender right now.”

I love Lynn’s writing, because she can say so much in such a subtle way. I hold my breath and cross my fingers, praying I’ll get lucky each time the ARCs get handed out. Bailey is one of the strongest female characters I’ve seen in a long time, and she doesn’t have to throw a single punch to do it. She brings Alexei Kamarov to his knees in record time, but makes it feel like the slowest of slow burns. The emotions jump from the page to reach deep in your chest, and crack your ribs right open. Alex isn’t emotionally stunted or scarred, but he goes through such profound growth that he’s not the same man he was at the start of the book. Despite what he says, he was always “good man,” but by the end, he’s better.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Riveting HOTness!

HOT SEAL Redemption
HOT SEAL Team, Book 5
By: Lynn Raye Harris
Narrated by: Avery Caris, Aiden Snow

This book is absolutely amazing, the story is attention grabbing and entertaining. Lynn Raye Harris is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style, the characters and storylines she created are interesting and original. Ms. Harris makes it so easy to fall in love with her characters, they are easy to relate to and connect with. Bailey Jones has not had the easiest of lives but she never let that bring her down, she helped raise her younger sister, Kayla, and continues to look out for her. Her sister has disappeared on her in the past but this time she comes back home, drops off her new born daughter with the name of the father before running off again. Bailey is not sure what to do but with limited options she finds the father and knocks on his door. Alexei “Camel” Kamarov, a member of the HOT Seal team just returned from a mission, home one night to be awaken by a beauty holding a baby. Level headed and knowing how to handle babies he takes the baby and soothes her. When Bailey tells him the baby is his he knows that it is not possible, or is it? Wow, a lot goes on in this book and I loved how it all played out, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, mystery, twists and turns, action, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a hot romance. It was great to watch Alex battle his inner demons and get past his relationship phobia, such a great guy deserves to be loved and not in a one night stand kind of way. Lynn Raye Harris thank you for this fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I loved every minute of it.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Avery Caris and Aiden Snow are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They did an awesome job bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow and tell who is who. Their portrayal of the characters was spot on and they had a complete understanding of each role they played, sounding believable and just as I pictured they would sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fabulous listen🎧

I’ve read quite a few of the HOT series but this is my first of the HOT SEAL off-shoots and I can honestly say it didn’t make a difference.  I stopped because I fell behind by a book or two and there seemed to be enough flow from book to book (mostly with the bad guy) that I didn’t feel comfortable picking up again in the middle.  I was assured this was a good place to start back up, though, and I’m sure glad I listened!

Based on the stories I’d read before I knew I’d get action and emotion, with strong women and take charge men, and this one didn’t disappoint.  From the first page I was hooked!  After her sister left her in charge of her niece, Bailey goes barreling over to Alexei’s to confront the man who she thought was the baby’s dad.  From her banging on his door and yelling her *ahem* “high” opinion about him to Alexei bringing her into his home to help her take care of Ana, it’s fun and sassy and a great meet-cute.

Of course, bad things come calling when Bailey gets threatened at work by someone looking for her sister.  With the brains and brawn that populate the HOT team, Bailey has a lot of help at her disposal.  But it’s going to take some time which keeps her in Alexei’s orbit just that much longer … lucky girl!

Neither of them were looking to get involved, but the heart rarely plays fair and I really enjoyed watching both Bailey and Alexei fall in love.  They struggle with it a bit and have a few moments where being a little more up front about their changing feelings would have saved them both some heartache, but overall it was pretty drama free (which I appreciate).  Instead, we get two people who thought they wanted one thing slowly figuring out that maybe they want something so much different after all.

With a large dose of sizzle between the main characters, a little bit of danger thrown in to spice things up, Alexei and Bailey’s romance if a ton of fun to read.  I’m looking forward to enjoying more of the HOT guys … maybe I’ll go back and get the ones I’ve missed!

Hot Seal Redemption is the 5th book HOT Seal Team Series. A great Navy Seal book filled with action, heat and a hot ALFA.

Hot Seal Redemption follows the story of Alexei “Camel” Kamarov and Bailey Jones. When Bailey turns up on Alexei’s door with a bundle she swears is his, life as Alexei knew it is over. Finding out the truth will change things for both of them leading them down a path they both didn’t foresee.

Bailey is a strong, independent woman who has taken control of each situation in her life and her sisters since she was young girl. Determined to make a better life for self she has plans that they don’t involve a male. Alexei is the sexy ALFA Navy Seal who guards his feelings and doesn’t believe in marriage and a happily ever after. He is trained, loyal and prepared to serve his country with zero distractions.

“She wasn’t looking for a husband, or even a boyfriend, but something about the proximity of this man had her nerve endings jumping like popcorn exploding on a hot griddle.”

The sparks between Alexei and Bailey were there from the beginning. Both their characters had sexual thoughts towards each other and the desire between them grew. With the heat turned up to maximum Lynn had you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next scene come.

Lynn brought both characters to life easily switching between Alexei and Bailey. She took us through a handful of emotions leaving you wanting more from each of the characters, holding my attention throughout and not wanting to put the book down.

Hot Seal Redemption is book 5 in the series, I haven’t read books 1-4 but after reading this one I have already added them to my must-read list. I felt that this book had a great story line, real characters and it gave you romance, everything that you want out of a great book. I cannot wait to continue this series.

This is the 5th book of the series. However, you will understand more if you’ve read the Hostile Operations Team (HOT Team). Also, there are other books in the series I would read before continuing onto the series as it will help with understanding.

If you want to read what the book is about, read above the reviews.

Our hero has just come back from a mission and is in bed when banging starts on his front door. He grabs his gun and goes out to find a young woman with a baby who says he’s the father. He can’t be because he takes all precautions he possible could to not be a father. However, he’ll hear out what she has to say.

Our heroine has been on her own for a while and helped raise her younger sister. However, when her younger sister arrives home with a baby, then promptly leaves and leave the baby with her, things are going to be gets complicated. She doesn’t know how to care for any young child. The father, who she believes is our hero, must do something. However, what she gets is more than what is expected.

Only they find themselves with people after them and its only after her sister comes back they find out the baby’s real daddy wants her so he can sell her and take her sister and put her out to market as a prostitute.

The plot is good and is really funny in places and serious in others. The author went to the hard subject of human trafficking which is a current hot subject. I liked how she treated it, but I think the dancers could have been a bit more on the run down side to make it seem desperate. The hero and heroine can be related to normal people and what normal actions would is which is great and adds to the story.

This kept me reading as I wanted to know where the story was going next. I sure hope the next book in the series will be as good.
