LIFE Unexpected They were perfect together and then they weren’t, but Kai Manzo didn’t expect what Jake threw at her. He was leaving her for another woman. She and Roman were friends. 94 books18 followersI'm a small town girl who in early 2000 moved to New Jersey. I had been writing for years. I have so many manuscripts I started and never finished I don't know what to do with them all. I happened to be stuck at the Philadelphia airport with an editor from a publishing house in New York. She read one of my first manuscripts and offered me advise on how to improve it. I lost touch with her with my career in IT taking over. In 2013 I lost my job in IT after ten years with the same company. Found another, lost it again in 2014 due to cutbacks. During this downtime I started writing again and decided to explore Self-Publishing. I love living out the lives of my characters on paper. I love reading other author's works as well. There is nothing like getting lost inside someone's fantasy just for a little while because life sure isn't easy. You can forget your troubles inside the pages of a book.

Dang and Swoon!
Dang I floved this and Swoon I need me a Roman! We all do ladies! Selfish cheating bastard Jake met karma up close and personal! I shall definitely be investigating more titles from Lee and sharing my impressions. Friends in my cheating reads group will no doubt eat this up as voraciously as I!

Loved
This is my first read by Lee Wardlow and I loved it!! I was hooked from the opening chapters and I couldn't put it down! I do love these types of books, and this is why it's very well written and you could feel what was happening in their lives.
I loved that she never wavered and just went with her feelings and she had liked Roman for longer than she cares to admit. There is so much going on, and it's all good!! Such a great read about second chance and just letting go and being with you you are destined to be with...

Terrible. I admit I skimmed because of how poorly written it is. I didn’t mind the cheating aspect, but the manner in which it was written was indicative of an inexperienced writer. Then to read about the infertility and surprise pregnancies that are so cliche in this genre was a slap in the face to anyone who’s ever dealt with it. There was a note by the author upfront but it was still obnoxious and just plain insulting. Seriously?

life unexpected
I loved this author, the story line was heartbreaking and compelling. It’s about a forty year old woman that getting a divorce and beginning a impending romantic relationship with a young man.
