This book was another great success! Amazingly written.
It was darker and more emotional than the other.
Knowing what Alexa has gone through was heartbreaking. How can such a young person can manage to survive this on her own. I was really sad for her, I was there with her trying to find a way around all this.
People from her past I have got attached to, Anatoli...wish we could have known more about him...
Tobias sounds like a jerk but we know he has a good heart.
Getting to know her story, made Rex understand why she did what she did...and guilty of how he reacted.
All her new friends have discovered a past from her they didn’t know about, but good friends always stay put and don’t run away, that’s what they did.
She is surrounded by so many great people, she will make it.
I can’t wait to read about Gunner in Safe...next one...

Another amazing story!
The rollercoaster story of this wonderful groups of friends continues in the 3rd book of this series. The raw, physical and deeply emotional traumers kept me addicted to reading. Bry Ann writes in such a way, that makes all the characters so realistic and believable, I just want to keep reading more and more about their lives. Highly recommended.

Third book in the series which focuses on Alexa and Rex.
Alex and Rex grew up together, both from very different backgrounds but their friendship developed. Things for Alex were terrible/abusive at home, she had to run and ended up on the streets where she met Pytor. Her life spiralled out of control though. From frying pan into fire. From suffering at the hands of her father to those of a Russian pimp. Running from another bad situation she ends up bumping into Rex and his sister Mia again some time later. We learn how Rex and Gunner meet plus the tragedies both Alex and Rex suffered. Revenge is a dish best severed cold and book 4 is going to be dished up, devoured and satisfying for all except Pytor!!
Bry Ann has this way of telling a story that makes you feel your there in the room with the characters, a silent bystander! I felt as if my heart would explode hearing Alexa story.
If you read any of Bry Ann's book just make sure you don't have anything else planned - you won't want to stop once you start.
All books can be read as a standalone but to get a better understanding you should read them in order.
