She never intended to fall in love.

Jennifer thought that accepting a job as PA to the owner of a high-class call-girl agency would bring some excitement to her life, but it turns out to be no more exciting than being the PA to a used car salesman. She is on the verge of quitting when the agency is contacted by reclusive artist, Mason Greene, looking to hire a girl for the week. Jennifer sees this as her chance to finally add a little spice to her humdrum life. So, she becomes Caprice, and heads off to Mason Greene's private island.

But secrets never stay secret for long. What will happen when the truth catches up with Jennifer?

About Cassidy Ryan

A devourer of books since the age of three, Cassidy Ryan has wanted to be a writer since she discovered that actual people created these wonderful worlds and characters.

She discovered her mum's stash of romance novels when she was twelve, and the die was cast.

These days she lives in the West End of Glasgow, and when she isn't meeting the demands of her cat Angel—the undisputed Mistress of all She Surveys—or indulging in her life-long quest to find the perfect handbag, she likes nothing better than to sit down at the laptop and manoeuvre gorgeous men and women into bed, in whatever combination the muse sees fit to gift upon her imagination.

Jennifer is a PA for the owner of a high-class escort service. She thought the position would be exciting but it is far from it. She's bored out of her mind! She's contemplating quitting when a fax comes in from a reclusive artist, Mason, requesting a girl for a week. She knows how all the girls clamor to get the assignment when Mason requests a girl. She decides to take the assignment unbeknownst to her boss. She figures what's the worse that could happen? Fired? She was going to quit anyway. It's high time she lives a little, so she becomes Caprice and boards a flight to Mason's private island. What happens when the truth comes out??

I really liked this book! Jennifer knew it was going to be a bit hard to play the part of a call girl, but she was up for the challenge. She was instantly attracted to Mason and absolutely adored his island estate! I could feel the chemistry between them. We learn bits and pieces about the reclusive artist and I was enamored with him. He treated Jennifer/Caprice with the utmost respect and seemed sincere. Knowing there's an expiration date on this fling, Jennifer tries to make the most of her time with Mason-enjoying him. Unfortunately, she's falling and doesn't know how to stop it! All in all, a very enjoyable read and a great addition to the Lust Bites series!

Jennifer Riley is in a rut. Even working as a Madam’s secretary isn’t as exciting as she’d thought. When a chance to fulfill one of her deepest fantasies presents itself, she decides to throw caution, and her job, to the wind and pretends to be one of the escorts. Mason Greene is a mystery, but one who knows how to treat a lady. Jennifer hopes that while she is ‘Caprice’ she finally has some real fun.

Caprice is a fantasy story. If a reader wants to put themselves in a sexy time with a near stranger, Caprice presents a really strong venue of escape. The sexy parts are great and overall it’s a well written story. I would have loved to see more of a relationship build and bloom, but there was still a clean closing feeling with a possibility for happily ever after.

Wow. This was a quick love story that I didn’t see coming. Jennifer is stuck in yet another job that she can’t stand. The monotony of doing the same thing day in and day out. No excitement, no challenge, just the same repetitive job. Jennifer one day had decided that she had had enough and took matters into her own hands.

The author does an amazing job about covering enough of the details in the beginning that you get a great feel for who Jennifer is and why she becomes Caprice. The book is filled with lot’s of hot sex all over the island, but it is written well in the aspect that the author still shows the growth of the characters throughout the book.

A short book at only 41 pages but a good fast read. I would have liked to see a little more of where the relationship is going to go, and for that I give Caprice a 4 rose rating.
