Apparition Lit is a quarterly speculative fiction magazine that features short stories and poetry. We publish original content with enough emotional heft to break a heart, with prose that’s as clear and delicious as broth.
New issues will be published each January, April, July, October.
Such beautiful fiction and poetry about death, loss, grief, and apparitions. They're all so good, including an interview with the cover artist and an essay by a hospice nurse, that I cannot pick a favorite, and describing each one would only recapitulate the issue's tone setting "A Word from Our Editor." I'm looking forward to reading more issues!
