"Chase McKay Didn't Get Up Today" is a fun story with lovely artwork. The picture make you giggle. Children will want to read it over and over again. Chase McKay Didnt Get Up Today has a catchy rhyme and a lovable little boy with charming pets; a cat, a dog, and two silly gold fish. A great book to share.

Chase McKay Didn't Get Up Today is a charming new children's book. The artwork truly brings the words to life. Everyone will have a favorite picture of their own. Mine were the slowly deflating waffles as Chase McKay balked at even eating breakfast, rather than get up and go to school. Every parent who's ever had a reluctant school child will relate to the text, while the child himself will be as enthralled with the lively rhythms as he is with the waffles (or the cat or the dog or the goldfish, or the many, many other accompanying pictures).

Cindy R Williams is a strong new voice in children's books. I'm looking forward to future installments in her Chase McKay series!
