A thriller of a read. Some twenty minutes before the president is due to land, he gets word from his undercover agents that a cell they have been following has planted a bomb on Air Force One and if the plane tries to deviate from the flight path to Atlanta, the plane will blow up. The agents, Matt Higgins and Bridget Donavan, have been chasing after an Arab jihadi and a Russian nuclear bomb builder. There have been multiple attacks and talk of atomic bombs. Word is being kept quiet from the press and media outlets. Only the president and his small team know what has been happening.

Time is running out and there is more to the cell they are trying to catch than they know. Add in the link to Russia with the information of the Russian bomb maker. Someone is getting them one step ahead of Matt and Bridget. There are links to a previous cell of jihadis that they took down weeks earlier. There is a personal story of revenge that leads to danger for Matt in particular. This chase could lead to high levels of danger for the president and those in Atlanta as well as Matt and Bridget and those close to them.

This was a great read, which kept you following the whole way through. Good pace and lots of action throughout keep your interest and it is following along a storyline that is not too distant from the happenings around the world at the present time. Multiple terrorist attacks have taken place in the UK this last year and in many others places all around the world. We have to hope that good prevails over evil and that people do not ignore what is happening around the world. For evil to succeed, all that is needed is for good men just to do nothing!

I will definitely be buying and reading a few more of the authors books in this series. I received an ARC copy of this book from Hidden Gems and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
