Our minds are supposed to piece together whatever happened between Harry and Draco as individuals and a couple. It could be something simple or overly dramatic but we know next to nothing except that it’s wrecked havoc on Hermione, Ron, and Draco.

My thoughts and feelings about this story are simple to sum up: I’m not here for it. The story feels incomplete as details aren’t given and it leaves me feeling unsatisfied and confused as a reader. I get that is how we are supposed to feel as it’s how the characters feel at times, but I think the author could have written a bit more to answer some questions readers may have.

To be honest, this isn’t my first time reading this story. I found it in an old email from a friend asking me if I liked this kind of writing. Told them it “was lacking for me.” Funny how things have come full circle as later on I ended up reading more of the author’s writing. They improved greatly since in the latter work and seemed to be experimenting with their writing at the time. Hopefully they’ve continued and are now still writing.

Read this over a month ago and still thinking about it. So short but so sad.
