Look at ya girl, guys. She reads science-y books, she's an educated woman *hair flip* I was nervous about this book going in, since it's WAYYYYY out of my usual genre. I'll be totally honest, I bought this book several years ago with the intention of just keeping it on my book shelf and if some cute boy just so happened to see it he would think I'm super smart and I don't just read sappy romance novels, hehe. BUT, I had the urge to fit it into my line up this month, and I'm so glad I did. Within a few chapters, my mind was blown clear out of the water.
Brother Frazer's directive with this book is to show us that God undeniably exists and using science as a tool to do that rather than what we usually see. Atheists adopt the thinking that science created the universe over the Christian belief that God created the universe. Brother Frazer says, why can't we believe in both? Why not instead believe that God created science and used things like the Big Bang and evolution as tools in his grand creation of the earth and life on it? WHAT?! Science and religion are not opposing ends of a magnet, rather they are simply two sides of the same coin. They compliment and reinforce each other. His ideas are very well researched and explained in simple enough terms that even I, a humble little English major, could understand them. I am very impressed and I will be sharing this book with whoever will listen. 5/5 stars.
