Andy Stanley thinks he's seen it all as a member of the Jungle Explorer's Society-mummies, magic, all sorts of monsters. His own grandfather, Ned Lostmore, now exists as a sentient shrunken head. But nothing can prepare him for what happens when the Potentate and her evil Collective army steal an ancient scroll unlocking a powerful secret that could spell disaster for the J.E.S. and the entire the Doomsday Device. Once the Device is activated, Andy and his friends have very little time to track down the one person who can help them stop it. It's an adventure full of perilous pursuits, betrayal, and deadly riddles. The countdown has has Andy Stanley finally run out of time?
This adventure is full of twist and turns! The story moves along at a steady pace, never leaving the reader bored or lost. The details within the story enable the reader to mentally picture what is happening. If you have read the other stories this is a must read! Fingers crossed the next book in the storyline is being drafted! “Kungaloosh!”
This book was full of twist and turns. I was on the edge of my seat at every moment to see if Andy and Abigail could solve the riddles and if the JES could endure the torturous brought by the doomsday device. The scene when Andy just ran through the pontent’s army was so epic and got even better when Andy ignored the knife stabs on his arm when fighting for the device. It was very moving as I never expected Andy to be brave enough to sacrifice himself just to save his friends. I almost cried at the end. Truly a good book from a good series👍 Hope more books will come out in the future.

This was a satisfying end to the Adventureland trilogy. I like the idea of the Jungle Exporers' Society going to Egypt and delving into the ancient supernatural legends but I think the author could have tied more of the Disneyland features in this book.
