Volume 2 did the impossible: it made me care about characters I've spent my life not giving a hoot about.
Seriously, if you told me I'd become invested in Chun-Li, Guile, and Cammy of all people, and that I wouldn't mind mah gurl Sakura being in the background, I'd have said you were crazy.

This volume fleshes out some of the backstory of charaters like Cammy, Fei Long, and Guile. Also shows the kind of grasp that Shadaloo has in many aspects of society. The art quality fluctuates (for my taste) between the bonus stories. Not a masterpiece in storytelling, but a good one.
