LONDON KENNEDY I’m so ready to leave my life as the infamous offspring of a famous Hollywood producer behind, and the publicist job with Wycked Obsession is the perfect answer. They need my help to combat the gossip and rumors that surround them, while I need help resisting guitarist Knox Gallagher. When I can’t do that, I’m left with an even bigger problem. How do I deal with the secret that could end up being the biggest rumor yet? KNOX GALLAGHER Life is screwing with me and my band, Wycked Obsession, like we have targets on our backs. Our new publicist London Kennedy is there to help manage the fallout of rumors and accusations, but that only adds to my problems. I want her, at least for the duration of the tour. So why does it feel like the more I have her, the more I want to keep her? **This is an adult rock star romance intended for mature audiences. Not appropriate for readers under 18.** No cliffhangers. Guaranteed HEA. Book 2 in the Wycked Obsession series, the beloved fantasy of romance between hot rock stars and the ordinary women who love them.
I am so glad that I decided to go ahead and realized the second book in this series. I absolutely love this one, and realize more fully that my issues with the first book are just that - mine. London and Knox are both such intense characters and face more than their fair share of drama while being unable to deny the chemistry between them, breaking all of their rules.
Wycked Obsession is a band from Austin, Texas that has been fairly quickly thrown into fame. Five very hot, long haired, tattoed rockers with southern charm and manners, and each with their own demons. The first book was lead singer Ajia's book with Bree, overprotected little sister, biologically to Knox, lead guitarist and band leader, and little sister of the heart to the rest of the band... except feelings with Ajia have always been a bit different. And honestly, I can't say that Knox's controlling personality exactly drew me to him in Wycked Crush. It didn't exactly draw me in here, either, but seeing where it comes from inside of him makes it more tolerable. And London is just something else herself. In spite of their quirks, they were fascinating and I couldn't put this down.
Plenty of erotica in this one, like the first, making this definitely an adults only read (which is clearly stated in the description) and while some things are still a bit over the top, they seem to work better in the story here. This band has more than their fair share of drama and demons, but their dynamics are wonderful.
It was never that I didn't like Bree and Ajia in the first book, and I am happy to say that I love the glimpses of them in this one. The preview for Noah's book leaves me anxious for its arrival. And I am endlessly intrigued by Rye. And while Zayne is a harder sell for me for personal reasons, I will look forward to his book as well. I am glad I took a chance on this series and will look forward to more.

KNOX GALLAGHER
Life is screwing with me and my band, Wycked Obsession, like we have targets on our backs. Our new publicist London Kennedy is there to help manage the fallout of rumors and accusations, but that only adds to my problems. I want her, at least for the duration of the tour. 3 1/2 Stars While this book had a good premise, not enough dealt with it IMO - London and Knox have an instant connection but it felt a little too instant for me and while Knox backstory began in the first book, he and his sisters' issues are brought to a head in this one. London's background was hardly touched on but should have had more of an impact on her if it was that big of a deal. But the synopsis for Noah's book has generated enough interest for me to keep going
So glad this second book in the series is finally here. Rocker romance is probably my favorite genre and the Wycked Obsession series is my current favorite series. While we met Knox in the first book, Wycked Crush, London is new and the leading lady in this story. She is reeling from the many recent changes in her life that lead her to the band. Knox is also reeling from events in his family and the band and they reel into each other with a loud crashing bang. As with most rock bands on the rise the boys are wild and their lives are crazy. And as their success and fame skyrocket them onto the world stage the press, especially the tabloids, pick their lives apart. They have been together since they got there start in the garage back home in Texas. Knox is the lead guitarist and leader of the band and he has the ego to go with it. He has issues with control in the band, in his family and in the bedroom. He is not the only one with problems and every move made by every member of the band and those in their orbit fall victim to the gossip mill that is entertainment reporting. Now, back to London. While she is not an entertainer herself she is the illegitimate daughter of a famous man, a Hollywood producer. While she has always existed on the perimeter of her fathers orbit she has never been accepted in the world in her own right, for who she is. She comes on board with Wycked Obsession as they realize they need someone to ride shotgun for them on their current tour, then the fun begins. Wynne Roman crafts a great story and I especially love her hot and steamy sex scenes. She gets into the minds and the beds of her characters. If you love a good rocker romance give Wycked Rumors a spin, you’ll board the bus for the whole series.
This is more than just another "rockstar romance" book. It's much much more. You don't FEEL like your reading a story. Your IN the story. Your there at the show or backstage, or even in the hotel room. Your there, for everything. Knox and London aren't your typical rockstar bf/gf. Theirs is the kind of love story you wanna read about. See where they are in twenty-thirty years. See if Knox is still that protective, slightly overbearing, hot as sin guy who loves hard and forever. See if London is still that cheeky girl, the one with the one liners, but who cares deeply for those she loves. That's the kind of book this is. Not gonna lie Knox is smoking hot, and London knows just what to do with that flame! Take a chance. Read it. Guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Wow is all I can say! Knox forever will be known as ‘the asshole’ of Wycked Obsession in my mind, lol. London is exactly the woman to put him in his place too :). The dynamic between both these strong, dominant personalities strokes an exciting chord...no pun intended. I love how Wynne brings two damaged souls together and creates a feisty, hot romance worthy of an all night read.
This is book 2 in the Wycked Obsession rockstar series. It can be read as a standalone, but there are some underlying themes that continue from the first book so I do recommend starting at the beginning.
London, recently graduated from college is the new PR manager for the band. She has dealt with a lot of judgment due to her unconventional family background and is weary about love and one-night stands. Knox is the lead guitarist and somewhat leader of the band who feels like he always needs to be in control.
The meeting between London and Knox in chapter 1 is priceless! It was epic! If you read book 1, you will see a few of the scenes that involve Ajia and Bree, but from Knox’s POV. To be honest, Knox made me angry a fair amount in book 1 with his insane overprotectiveness of his sister (although given their crazy lifestyle, I wouldn’t want my sister exposed either!) and the way he handled the relationship between her and his bandmate. I didn’t find him very likable in the beginning of this due to his quick temper. However, as the book progressed, I came to love him. I am a control freak and I could understand that for when he feels a lack of control, he lashes out. I enjoyed watching him learn to come to grips with not always being in control and to also open up to London.
London is a fun character. Yes, she is unprofessional in giving into their passion right off the bat, but she falls in love with him while being a professional outside their relationship. She has good ideas on handling the rumors, but admits when she needs Baz’s help, after all, she is new in the field.
There is a lot of drama to keep things moving at a good pace - all the rumors that seems to keep flying and then issues with Zayne (I can’t wait for his book!) and someone from Knox’s background among other things. London and Knox have amazing chemistry together and the sex scenes are hot! I also enjoyed seeing and learning more about the other band members.
*Warning: this book touches upon pregnancy loss*
The next book is about Noah and we all know how he loves his threesomes. There is a sample at the back of the book. The prologue broke my heart for Paige and I cannot wait to read their story!
From the moment they meet, and boy what a meeting, the sexual tension between London and Knox is off the charts! This book is the 2nd book in the Wyked Obsessionock series, focusing on Knox Gallagher, the bass player. Knox hires London Kennedy to take over PR and marketing for the band. This can be read as a standalone but why would you want to miss out on the complete story? Knox is the hot and dark, honorary "father" of the group and of his own family. Abandoned by his own father at a young age, he becomes the protector of his younger sister and mother as a young teen and later his friends and band mates. Although London's father didn't actually abandon her in the physical sense, she is also dealing with father issues and the very unusual nature of her parents relationship. Two very different people from different backgrounds come together and the story did not disappoint when it unfolds! I couldn't put this book down! I love it when the tough, strong dudes fall hard. Knox is my new book boyfriend. I'm a new Wynne Roman groupie and I'm really looking forward to Noah's book.
Wow, 2nd book in the series of the band, Wycked Obsession, soooooo good! This is the story of Knox, the lead guitarist, control loving sometimes mean & bullying to get his way, older brother of Bree from book 1. I really didn't like him much in that book, got on my nerves as he butted into Bree & Ajia's happiness. In this book, as he met his match in London/ English, I found him a whole lot of hot, alpha bad boy goodness. This story, aptly called Wycked Rumors, is exactly that..full of one rumor, tragedy & social media disaster after another. London, the newly appointed & much needed PR person who must handle all this, joins the tour & gets on the bus which starts the ball rolling to seeing Knox get a taste of a relationship that is not 'one & done' as the Wycked Obession gang would say. Good book, some tears, but a nice ending. Waiting for Noah's story, Mr. Menage. Hope I can deal with that one!
It’s here! Finally the second Wycked book to quell my obsession (see what I did there? lol) I have been looking forward to Knox & London’s story!
Anywho... won’t even lie, I was not digging the beginning but as the story continued, it got better. Something about London rubs me the wrong way. Let’s just say, if I was on that tour bus, we wouldn’t be besties but we would be cordial and friendly haha - that’s the only way I can describe it. Knox is pretty awesome, he’s got a lot of deep seeded issues (I think) that could have been delved into further, but I digress.
This book felt a lot like THE BAND’s book, not London and Knox’s book. They both could have been dissected way more but then who wants to read that?! The sex is fantastic!
Overall, their story is good and I hope to see them throughout the rest of the series!
I was amazed at how well this story flows out of the first book in the series! The POV changes and overlaps are seamless and entertaining! I was delighted when the same scene looked so different from the other POV! This author shows how two opinions on the same event can have different and far reaching effects! Ms. Roman also shows us how keeping a secret can have a devastating effect on a budding romance! This story is about trust and complete honesty! Talking thru problems will solve them even when you are afraid of the results! Love lust and loss combine with anger denial and pain to bring us a complete masterpiece!
Once again I enjoyed this story by Wynne Roman. These are not typical rock star romance stories. I loved reading about how Knox was struggling with his feelings for London and coming to the realization that he cannot control everything. Having to let someone else inside his walls and learn to trust her. Their trust is tested (as you would expect in a rockstar romance) but not in all of the predicable ways you would expect. Looking forward to Noah’s story (there’s an excerpt in the back).
I started out reading Wyked Crush two days ago and couldn't put it down. As soon as I finished it I knew that I had to buy Wyked Rumors. I absolutely loved it! Parts of the book broke my heart , but I am happy that they worked it out in the end. I would definitely would recommend both of these books. I can't wait until Noah's story, and as always Rye's story!
Love all the characters each one has their own story as much as the band has so many problems, it’s hard to believe this couple can make it but against all odds they do. There is a lot of emotion in this book, can’t wait for Noah’s story!
This was nonstop drama from the get go. It kept the story flowing. Which it kept it exciting. The only thing that bothered me was when they kept calling each other baby.
Wycked Rumors Knox is a true rockstar in every sense of the word, hot, sexy and kind of a jerk. When I read book one of this series I didn’t like him much but now he’s just growing on me. He wants to take care of his band and protect the ones he loves. He’s still not happy about his sister and Ajia but at least he’s handling it better. In this book we’re given more of an insight into the other band members, I love them all. London has had some disappointments with her previous boyfriend and she has trust issues but I love the chemistry between Knox and London. She’s very important to Knox and I love how he treats her, they definitely have a little kink. They almost didn’t make it but the happy ending is epic. I loved loved loved this book even more then book one, which is hard to believe. I’m giving this book five stars and I’m highly recommending it. Now it’s on to book four, yes I’m skipping book three because it’s not my thing.
Wycked Crush was amazing and Wycked Rumors is just as good, if not better.
Knox is such a brooding, controlling rockstar of a man and London, well she is just perfect. I love her, she knows just how to handle him right from their first meeting!
I've totally fallen in love with all of the band and entourage and cant wait to read to next book
Couldn’t ask for more from this book… Love Knox and London, a match made in heaven. This series just keeps getting better and better can’t wait to read Noah’s story
A crass story. The characters are boorish, petulant and cantankerous. The story is stilted. Sour. The same inane issues covered over and over again. Was like sucking on a rotten lemon.
