Slow Cooker Cookbook for Two: 250 Slow Cooking Recipes Designed for Two People by Steven D. Shaw
Book starts out with table of contents that are broken up into meals.
Free gift is offered. Introduction that talks about slow cookers.
Each recipe starts out with a title, prep and cook time and servings.
List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat and low sugar products.
Directions are also included.
Nutritional information includes calories, fat NOT broken up into good or bad, fiber, carbs and protein. NO sodium is mentioned.
There are NO pictures.
I would use fresh ingredients vs canned tomatoes. Same with kidney beans, soak them overnight vs ones in the can.
One recipe has over 15 ingredients and a lot of the items have to e diced or cubed. IT's going to take more than 10 minutes, just don't think time is right in some of the recipes.
If I want a breakfast dish ready for 6am I'd have to get up at 3am to cook it in the slow cooker. Doesn't make sense to me to let it cook for so long.
