I just love love love the significance of Suzanne's writing! If she wants to give you palpitations... Wherever they may be on your body, then be assured this will happen. ;-) . Her storytelling abilities are so much fun and every single one of her books leaves you wanting more.
The story of not only a writer who receives an actual letter from a fan gives her the muse to be creative and delicious about a strong independent woman and her fated alpha counterpart. Submission is the name of the game for Adam and Emily!!!

I'm a bit frustrated with this book.
I love all the Suzanne Halliday books I've read so far, but for some reason, this book did not resonate with me.
I know a lot of people have rated this book 5 stars, so please don't let me review hinder you from reading this book.

Control- Sinful Shares Series

With a title such as Control and an author like Suzanne you know this book is going to be a wits matching story of alphas dancing around each other in the age old mating dance. I was not disappointed! My only complaint, it was not long enough!
Amanda Bailey, known as Mandi B, writer of romance shares her best fan letters in the new short series, Sinful Shares! HUH! Who would have thought a writer would get such scintillating letters from fans sharing……well EVERYTHING!
Emily Sinclair meets Adam Jefferies coming from her elderly neighbor’s home startling her! She has her dander up when Adam’s answer is less then what she was looking for. And oh yeah, WHOAH! Full stop! He disarmed her with just a few words. Visualize 2 cats, one with fur up, dancing around the other, tail flipping wildly, hissing and spitting, the other sitting there, posed just so, just taking it all in amused, who then lifts his paw, licks it and laughs!
This sets the tone for the series and first book. Emily soon realizes Adam is no ordinary guy. He is just so different from all the other males around. All she has to do is see him and her motor starts! She can’t get him off her mind and her mind out of the gutter! Her fantasizing is going way off the charts! They meet again in front of her house, where she tells him, “you scare me.” And he replies “I know.” So begins a Smokin tale of Romance, Getting to Know You and Oh La La! If you like your stories hot and steamy, Control is the perfect book for you. Suzanne Halliday's newest standalone novella is scorching hot. Emily is a business professional on the surface with a sex "kitten" underneath. Adam is the wealthy nephew of her next door neighbor and is just the man to deliver all the alpha hotness she never knew she wanted. When they come together, the pages just about burned out of my Kindle, they were so hot. This book is a quick and sexy read that brings everything you expect and love about a work from Suzanne Halliday. If you are new to her writing, you will not be disappointed. You will just want to read every word she has ever written and come out of it begging for more.

“This is a sexy, dirty love story of Adam and Emily.” In typical Suzanne Halliday style, this novella is a smoking hot, sweet love story, and has a happily ever after. It is a little different though in that it is a steamy D/S tale. I loved it. My favorite line is that “The alpha was strong with this one”. That really could apply to either character. Both were very strong leaders, but they gave control to each other. If you are up for a quick and extremely hot love story, this one is for you.

Adam Jeffries and Emily Sinclair, do not have the best first meeting. But hell they make up it! A man who knows what he wants and his eye is on his aunt's fiery neighbour. My oh my, this hot little book was so good!!! As a huge fan of Suzanne Halliday, I knew I would not be disappointed. Adam and Emily brought the laughs, very well written sexy times, and the fact they realistically stayed to their true selves while exploring and accepting another side of their personas. Short, sexy, truly interesting! I struggled a bit with the writing. It was kind of dry and everywhere. The overexaggerated sexy talk made my eyes roll a bit but the premise was good.

I like the set up for this one, how it was a letter to an author, but the rest fell flat for me despite liking Emily. It was Adam that did me in, he came off as a bit skeevy for me, despite knowing how short this one was and it needed to be insta everything.
