Genres: Adult (if you stretch the meaning of the word), Paranormal, Romance and my newest addition to genres just for these books 'TSTL'

It wasn't the editing.
It's not a dark book with triggers.
Nope. None of that.
What it is, is a complete waste of time and space.
ALL the characters are TSTL, although the main female character is the crowning queen.

The dialog, the story itself, the characters will all give you a headache from the stupidity of it all.

Let me start off by saying that I quite enjoyed this series. It's a great read for any who want a fast-tracked shifter love story... and no real reader commitment. I don't feel the author invested a lot into character development, reaching instead for a bunch of "long" short stories. An earlier reader commented that these were a mindless read, and I have to concur. They suited my reading needs at the time - simple stories that took less than an evening each to conquer. Not enough depth in the stories for a reader to develop a relationship with the characters, but a pleasant read nonetheless. If you are looking for a read where you connect with the characters and fall in love a little with them yourself, this is the wrong book. But... again, it's a good fluff read; fun, kinda predictable, and it delivers the requisite HIA. Good, but not great. Will I read more in the series? Probably, but i'll save them for when I want to be told the story... not live in it!

This book series was a totally Great Read!!
I found this book to be a real page turner! Totally loved all the characters and the scenarios in which each couple got together. Also enjoyed trying to guess as to what traumatic event would happen next and what the outcomes would be. A very well written series and I will be sure to be reading more books from this author.

I a little more than half way through the books. I would give these books a three and a half. I really enjoy the stories. I like the characters and the love stories. But the down side is the world building. Bear Canyon valley is said to be beautiful, however we get very little description of it. The B&B sounds really charming, but again very little detail. The character development is good, but in order to really get into a book I need to feel like I am part of the environment. These books actually read more to me like a play than a book. That being said, I do enjoy them and would recommend them to others with the above caveat.

Bear canyon valley shifters not just romance but each has a plot and the men have to fight for what they want

Chelsea hairdresser and gorgeous Grant went to her every 3 weeks just to see her, she works for Mae who just knows things, Jeff has his sights on her to but Chelsea has her own secrets and is running scared. No give away from me you need to read it. Astra & Kane's story is nonstop too, Teague & Kelsey are ex lovers, Tanner & Marti he has more than a fight to win her heart, and that of her son Dominic. Joe and Sara is a total different story Sara has a son Ivan they are always on the move she is trying to keep distance from those who chase her, Joe who is not a shifter battles with his heart but must win her love. And then there's Jake (Doc) and Mae who finally realised they love each other their story involves the whole pack and the elements sides nobody expected. A great read and great build up highly recommended

Loved all these novellas

PROTECTION
Grant is protective of the new woman in town, Chelsea. He wants to claim her as his mate. Chelsea likes Grant but thinks he is with someone else (her boss, Mae) and tries to keep her distance. Jeff, a local realtor, tries to get in between the two because Jeff wants Grants land. Jeff asks Chelsea out and she feels obligated to say yes just to be nice. Thinks go bad quick and Chelsea ends up in trouble. Will Jeff or Grant be the one to save Chelsea?

Quick read with action throughout. Which I love! Grant is definitely an alpha male to fall in love with. I also love that Chelsea isn't a perfect size 2. It gets old hearing about a heroine who is perfect. I love a curvy woman!
I wish there were more intimate scenes with this one. Also, it needs to be a little longer.

SEDUCTION
Kane is a bear shifter who has come back to Bear Canyon Valley to escape being hunted by other shifters. He meets Astra, stepdaughter of the Doc Evans, whom is a doctor for shifters. Astra doesn't like shifters and wants him gone before he brings trouble to town. All of a sudden danger is around the corner...

This one was okay. Astra was so anti Kane until they were alone. Once alone is was like she did a 180 and had massive feelings. I really didn't care for Astra but loved Kane. He was protective when he wasn't thinking about moving on.
I absolutely loved the action once again. I'm also seeing a pattern with Mae in these novellas. She seems to be a match maker.

PERSUASION
This novella is about Kelsey and Teague. Past lovers getting a 2nd chance but a secret could keep them apart.

There is an extremely slow bulid and kind of boring in the beginning. Two people fighting their feelings and trying to avoid each other. Then some action/adventure takes place and it's fantastic. Bam! The novella is over. I'd love to get more on this couple. There are a few more novellas in this series so I hope to get that more. Oh and Mae. Miss match maker. Enough said

INVITATION
This novella was about Marti and Tanner. Marti is an interior decorator working on the Bed & Breakfast. Tanner is the brother of Teague (one of the main characters of Persuasion novella 3 in this series) who is a bear shifter as well.

I loved the stubbornness of Marti. It made her interesting like she was hiding. We do find out her "secret" and it's a big one. I was thinking some drama would unfold with the secret but nothing happened and that was a disappointment.
Tanner was such a sweetie. He stood up and took care of things when Marti needed it the most.
Overall, this one was definitely not up to par with the others. It was cute but extremely bland. No action, no drama. Just a bear chasing his love.
I've said it with each novella. That Mae is some woman. Ms. Matchmaker.

TEMPTATION
This novella is all about Joe and Sara. Joe is the right hand man for basically all the shifter families in Bear Canyon Valley. Sara is a drifter running from problems with her and her son, Ivan.
I really enjoyed this one. I am so happy that Joe found the one that makes his pulse speed up. He's minded his own business throughout all of these novellas until Sara pops in and he can't look the other way. Sara was great too. Such a protective Mama bear to little Ivan. They make such a great little family.

Plus, this is the first one that Ms. Matchmaker, Mae didn't get into. However, I see the last novella is about Mae and this one excites Me!

ATTRACTION
This novella belongs to Mae and Doc aka Jake.

This one was special for me. Mae has been rebuilding Bear Canyon Valley playing matchmaker but always by herself. Doc is the doctor for the shifter world and has always had a connection with Mae. Both have lost their significant other years prior but are afraid to act on their feelings towards each other. It finally happens! I am so happy they both get their happily ever after.


This was an alright series. I don't read much on shifters but enjoy them here and there. I loved this tight community and have enjoyed the ride.

Chelsea is on the run and has found herself in a small, yet cozy town, trying desperately to keep herself under the radar. She’s a bit shy and likes to keep to herself, and she’s managed to find herself a friend in Mae, owner of the hair salon and her boss. And, she’s got the hots for one of her clients. Grant is everything Chelsea dreams of in a man, tall, burly and so good looking it almost hurts to look at him, and she figures he’s out of her league. Grant knows Chelsea is his fated mate, or at least his bear knows. Only one problem…how do you tell a human that you can turn into a huge bear? Just as he finally makes his move and asks her out, in comes Jeff, the local realtor and king of the pain in the asses, with a mean streak and an eye on Chelsea. And what Jeff wants, Jeff gets…usually. Only one problem, Chelsea doesn’t want anything to do with him. To what extreme will he go to have her? Will Grant finally manage to convince her to tell her secrets? And will he tell her his? Oh, and lets not forget that little problem of why she’s on the run? Will her problems catch up to her? Or will she finally be set free? A great tale full of action and love. Well done!

Seduction
Wow! As the story continues, we get a closer look at Astra, Doc’s stepdaughter. She has a special talent that even she’s not aware of, but, when she meets Kane, yet another hateful shifter, it would appear that she’s in for a surprise. Astra hates all shifters with the exceptions of Doc, her stepfather, and Grant, who is like an uncle to her. Her hate stems from the death of her mother, who was fatally attacked by shifters when Astra was a young child. Having blocked most of the violent death she witnessed from her memory many years ago, all she knows is her fear bred hatred. When Grant calls for Doc, who’s away for a couple of days, because they need his services, she feels obliged to go in his place. What she doesn’t know is just what, or perhaps who, is waiting for her there.
Kane is on the run from rovers, a group of shifters hired to kill him, for his part in saving a young girl from the clutches of some nasty shifters. When he’s sent to find Mae for help, he doesn’t hesitate. When Grant offers help, he gladly takes him up on it. But does he really need to see the Doc? And, what does his bear think of Astra? It would appear he’s in favour of finally settling down. Only question is…will she want them?
Even though this story continues from the first episode, it could be read as a standalone, as it is a complete story in itself. Looking forward to the next one!

Persuasion
Oh my! And the excitement continues! Never a dull moment, Mae has purchased a B & B across the street from her salon and she needs someone to manage it. So, she’s put in a call to her cousin for help, asking her daughter Kelsey, who has the required credentials, if she’s willing to relocate and fill the position. Kelsey’s been living in her own personal hell for the past two years, and has decided that it’s time to start living again, so she accepts the offer Mae has put on the table, and found her way to Bear Canyon Valley. Little did she know how fast her past was going to come barrelling back to her, and just how much hurt and love she still had for the only man she has and will ever love. Teague has been barely surviving since his mate, Kelsey left him two years ago. He still doesn’t know why she left, but his bear has been mourning her loss ever since, and no other woman will do, no matter how much he wishes he could move on. When he’s called upon to renovate Mae’s new B & B for her, because of some special features, he came. What he didn’t expect was to get a second chance to win his mate back. But, will he manage to do so? What great secret is Kelsey hiding from him? Why did she leave and will they have a chance at love again? Awesome story, as it continues to bloom and the valley grows. Beautiful love stories rolled into an even better saga. Absolutely loving it! Looking forward to the next part.

Invitation
OMG! This saga just keeps getting better and better as we go! If you haven’t already read the first three books in the series, I suggest you do so in order to get the most out of this book, but it is not necessary. This episode is, as each one is, a standalone, complete with it’s own HEA. Mae is up to her old tricks again, calling upon Tanner to join his brother Teague, for Grant and Chelsea’s wedding. The moment he sets foot into the diner where they are holding the rehearsal dinner, he knows his life is about to change. But when his fated mate more or less snubs him, he’s not sure if he will be able to handle his bear or not, let alone his human side’s distress. Marti has been hired by Mae to decorate her new B & B. She knows all about shifters, and even though she considers the “gang” at Bear Canyon Valley as not only friends, but an extended family, she’s harbouring a secret that she simply can’t tell any of them, not even the spouses, even though they are human. As soon as she lays eyes on Tanner, she knows she’s in trouble. While her heart is telling her to trust him and that he’s the one for her, her head just can’t take that chance. Will they manage to get past all of the hurt and allow the healing of love shine through? Or will they end up each going their own way, only to live alone the rest of their lives? Yet another beautiful tale that will warm your heart. Next please!

Temptation
Ohhhh! And the plot thickens with the arrival of Sara and Ivan, on the run, looking for safety. When Joe volunteers to find out just what’s going on with a stray shifter and her cub, he knows deep in his heart that she will change his life forever. Joe is not “just a human”. He has inherited his grandfather’s special talents as he speaks and listens to the forest around him, with his native American background. His intuition is telling him that this lone shifter needs him, in more ways than one. Only question is…will she let him help? Sara is on the run, fighting for her life and that of her young son, Ivan. She knows they should have moved on from Bear Canyon Valley a while ago, but her bear is reluctant to leave, knowing that Joe is their fated mate. But her human side refuses to put him in danger, and she’s convinced that if she doesn’t leave, danger will find him and the rest of her new friends. There’s no way she could possibly live with herself if she unwittingly brought the danger following her to them. But her bear wants to stay. Is there any way to do that and truly stay safe, and keep her new “family” safe? Or will those she’s running from finally catch up with her? Lots of intrigue and action, and once again, another wonderful love story in amongst it all, one more great episode of the ongoing saga of the Bear Canyon Valley shifters.

Attraction
Awww! What an awesome conclusion to this series, although I do believe we will be seeing more of them in the near future, hopefully in a spin-off series. After loosing her mate so many years ago, Mae has fallen in love with her long-time friend, Jake, aka, Doc. She’s not quite sure how or when, but she does know it’s happened. When Kane and Astra announce that they have booked a trip to Europe in order to seek out her long lost best friend, Anya, Doc announces that he’s following them. Secretly, he’s running, running from his heart since he’s come to realize that his best friend, Mae, is his mate. There’s no way he would be able to compete for her love with the spirit of her mate, Brad. Or can he? When trouble arrives to Bear Canyon Valley, and threatens Mae, all bets are off, as Doc’s bear fights for the woman he loves.
Jammed packed with so much excitement and action, as well as a few well-kept secrets that just might come to light, this episode will almost break your heart, or mend it, depending on where on the fence you may sit.
A beautiful series that deserves the time to read it. Well done!

I write this after listening to the audiobooks for this series.

1: Protection
She appealed to him, and he hadn't acted upon the the attraction. When he does, the other person who wanted her, reacts also, but things go so awry, life would never be the same again.

2: Seduction
You hate those that have destroyed your life, and taken your loved ones from you, so Astra felt hated towards all other shifters except for Doc and Grant.
When introduced to Kane, she automatically knew he was a shifter, so although Astra felt an attraction, it was balanced by the hatred she felt for his kind.
She planned to have him move on.. but fate steps in..

3: Persuasion
It's been two years, yet neither of them have moved on. She had just left, and he still wanted her.
She was still in love with him, but had something she knows and believes will destroy him.
They are thrown together by the renovations of the B&B. Can they find what they once had?
Excellent tale.

4: Invitation
Marti had enough to cope with and didn't need the attention of the very sexy, attractive shifter, Tanner, that was invited to the wedding celebration.
However, he was both hot and persistent, and in the end, just what was needed in her life.

5: Temptation

A single shifter mom trying to keep her son safe had taken shelter in Shifter Valley, however the other shifters were wary of strange shifters and Joe was sent to check out the woman.
Off course, the inevitable attraction occurs, and whole lot of trouble.

Worth the read.

6: Attraction
When a shifter gives the unity bite, it is supposed to tie the two forever. So imagine what happens when two that had lost their mates, now also lost the contact through the unity bite.
This is a dramatic episode, concluding the phase of the Bear Valley shifters.
It has been a very interesting series, enjoyable to the last.
I also have found the narrator's enhancement of the story with the various characters vocalizations adding a further dimension to the tales.

1. Protection tells the story of Grant, the Alpha and how he found his mate Chelsea.
2. Seduction brings Kane to the valley with and danger from rogue shifters as he finds his reluctant mate in Astra.
3. Persuasion brings Kelsey and Teague back together after a two year separation as they work together on a project to get Mae's new B&B ready for a grand opening and Grant and Chelsea's wedding.
4. Invitation for the wedding brings Tanner to Bear Canyon Valley where he finds his resistant mate Marti with her secrets.
5. Temptation finds Joe, a part of the shifter community but not a shifter with an unexpected mate in Sara, a female bear shifter with a young son, Ivan. She is on the run from a laboratory doing experiments on shifters until Joe rescues her and Ivan.
6. Attraction is the final story with Mae and Jake 'Doc' Evans finding a second chance together after the loss of both of their mates. In this story the polar bear threat to Marti and her son is illuminated too

Shifters Forever is full of hot shifters, their equally hot mates and lots of conflict to keep the action moving and two adorable young shifters full of mischief and fun. I enjoyed each and every story in the anthology with all the plot twists and turns.

Audio review
This is a great box set. You get everything in one listen. I love love how Meghan Kelly always plays all the parts perfectly. Her range of different voices for all the different stories in this great box set.
The first one involves a bear shifter and the female he wants , who is his mate. She wants him also but she doesn’t know he’s a shifter and to top it off she has made her home in a shifter town. This story has lots of action
Book 2 involves Kane and Astral.
Astral had a bad experience with shifters , her parents were killed . Astral is under the impression that there are no more shifters where she made home in Bear caynon Vally . This are fighting sceans , rows between non pack bears and love.
Book 3 is fantastic
It involves a wedding of Grant and Chelsa . While the B&B is being renovated Kelsey sees Teagan who had her body remembering and getting steamy from the memories from the past do they get together or will the past interfere
Book 4 and 5 and 6 is just as fantastic

Meghan Kelly did justice to this box set. Her voice was fantastic, she really brought you into the bear shifter world. Love how she does the male parts even better then most males do

Seduction: Kane is new to the valley; he's traveling through to get some dangerous Rovers off his back. Astra hates almost all shifters because her mom was killed by shifters. But even though these two shouldn't work they can't seem to stay away from each other.

Persuasion: Teague is in town to help renovate Mae's new bed and breakfast, and Kelsey is supposed to be running the place, but it turns out that they already know each other. They were a couple several years ago until Kelsey took off with no word of explanation. Teague can't decide if he should stay away or get some answers from her.

Invitation: Teague's brother Tanner is in town and seems perfect for Marti, but she has a secret that she must keep at all costs.

Temptation: Joe knows that everyone around him is a shifter, and he's okay with that. But now there's a new shifter in town and it seems like Sara and her young son are in danger. He'd like to take care of her, if she'll let him.

Attraction: Mae has set up everyone else in the valley; maybe it's finally her turn. Can two people who have already had mates find a second chance?

Standard shifter stories; leaned a little heavy into vague Native American mythology/stereotypes at times. My favorite was the first book; even though there were too many subplots there, I still felt the connection between Grant and Chelsea the most out of all the couples.

While these were good stories to read, I was a little disappointed in them as well. There was such a good chance for character and plot development, but these fell short. As a whole, they were good stories to read, but individually, the stories felt rushed and more like a short excerpt of a longer story. It would have been nice to have longer, more rounded novels for each of the characters and go more in-depth within the history of the bear shifters. What tidbits we learned along the way were great, but there were several chances where they could have been built in more and give each story a richer feel. As a whole, the stories were fast reads that whet my appetite for bear-shifter stories, but on an individual level, I was left wanting more from each of the stories, which was a little disappointing.

Wow! Talk about one spectacular collection. If you're looking for an exciting, heart pounding, pulse racing, smooth flowing, page turning collection that keeps on giving. Congrats my friends you've found it. This is one collection that grabs your attention from the start and holds it until the last word. You can't go wrong with this little treasure. The storylines are sharp and engaging. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises have the making for one thrilling experience. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this little jewel together beautifully. Thorne did an incredible job bringing these reads to life. Thanks Thorne for pulling these awesome little guys together for us.

Six incredible books in one! Author Elle Thorne has brought a whole Valley to life in this collection! Starting with Grant and Chelsea and ending with Mae and Jack this book sends you on a journey of discovery and love. Each coupe has their own ups and downs, but together they can do anything!
I love how these stories interact with one another, but can also be a stand alone story. The excitement of Shifter romance with all its complications and confusions is delightful. I enjoyed how the author brought each character to life, as well as blending in the supporting cast.
I would definitely recommend this series to anyone that loves Shifter Romance and HEA's!

Several different shifter stories in one boxed set, parts of several series and spin-offs by this author.
On the whole, quite delightful stories, with good plots, realistic and sympathetic characters and good storytelling.
What really annoyed me was the human female protagonists, who seemed to lose every single one of their brain cells when their "mate" was near. That somehow seemed so wrong, no one can be that blindly in love (well yes okay, there are people, but they are not the norm).
This boxed edition could do with another spelling editing session, but on the whole, I really enjoyed reading these stores and would not mind getting more of this author.

If you are or you like teenage melodrama, then this is for U.

I got to 19% and gave up, book 1- h is drugged and assaulted after escaping she is found by H still under the influence and He takes advantage sexually. The whole book is about her being victimized...book 2 - twenty something..teenage drama queen announced she hates all shifters except...and proceeds to have a hissy fit when asked to treat a patient.. I stopped there. Just ugghh. Not worth the space in my kindle. Delete,delete,delete.

Great series of shifter stories. Each pair appears in the next book, but the stories could be read alone. You'll want to read them all as you fall in love with the characters. The stories followed different patterns so it wasn't like you kept reading the same story with different names. There wasn't a set formula for each book, which made me like this series even more. Highly recommend this series.

I had to stop reading...

I read until the hero shifted in the first book. When his clothes shifted with him I had to stop reading because that is stupid. It totally killed the book for me at that point. There are certain rules for shifters that need to be followed. It’s just way too convenient. Also the hero was too overtly good and the bad guy was to overtly evil. It was just silly. I couldn’t continue.

Shifters Forever: Box Set is a fantastic paranormal romance by Elle Thorne. This is a set of 6 complete books about the shifter of Bear Canyon Valley. Ms. Thorne has provided readers with an outstanding cast of characters in these books. Each book is a standalone, no cliff-hangers. I enjoyed reading this collection and look forward to reading more from Elle Thorne in the future. The books included in this set are: Protection, Seduction, Persuasion, Invitation, Temptation and Attraction.

A great box set

I don't usually do box sets. Mainly because I get bored and tired of them. However that didn't happen with this box set. Elle is a new author to read and the first book was our book club pick. So gravel through Bear Canyon Valley in these exciting shifter reads. All the books cross over characters but they also each get their own book. I loved each one separately.

Easy Read

Easy read, not deep enough to elicit strong reactions but not too shallow to make my eyes roll either. There were some errors (referring to a different character instead of the one that it's supposed to be, start of a story changed from previous story's account, etc.)which probably wouldn't stand out if the books were read individually instead of continuously, like in this boxed set.

Great!

Loved having 1 -6 together! From beginning to end it was awesome, well-written, deep characters, and the twists turns and troubles are good and surprising. And I like they the "family" comes together in support. The family dinners bring back memories of growing up. Looking forward to the next series!

I loved this book! From the big, masculine men to the sexy, determined women.

Elle Thorne is a wonderful author. She has a quality in her style of writing that is refreshing from her characters interactions to the plot of the stories themselves.
