Love Keith and Natalie. A fast paced office romance, loaded with sexual tension, humor and snark. Natalie at 22 landed a job as the PA to financial shark Keith, who has a decade on her. The sexual chemistry is off the charts, but they have so far kept their hands to them selves. Keith's last relationship ended in disaster and the loss of half his clients. He has sworn off anything but professional relationships with his co workers. Natalie has steered clear of men since dumping her cheating boyfriend 2 years ago. Her new boss is hot as hell, and attracts and pisses her off at the same time. Keith can't help be attracted to his hot, new PA who runs his office better then he does. Natalie's old boyfriend has shown up wanting her back, and Keith's former PA and lover is skulking around. A late night at the office, leaving Natalie having to walk home, which has Keith offering her a ride, a sprained ankle has him taking her home with him. Natalie's stubborn nature, lands them both in the same bed, because he has to keep her out of trouble. When the morning comes and she wakes up all over her boss, Natalie knows she is in trouble and so does Keith. I'm not a fan of serial type stories, and cliffhanger ending, but I have to say I can't wait to see what happens next with Natalie and Keith.

Natalie is thrilled about her new job and her new boss, Keith!

Keith is over the top attracted to Natalie the day she appears for an interview.

I loved Natalie’s spunky personality and the way the author had her being competent even though she had no experience. She’s a quick thinker and a self starter. The fact that she’s still recovering from her ex’s betrayal two years ago shows she’s a softee inside.

Keith brings out the sass in Natalie. He doesn’t understand why he enjoys baiting her so much. His thoughts are inundated with her and that is something he’s never allowed to happen after his heart and pride was broken by his ex Jennifer.

I loved the chemistry between the main couple. The author’s writing style flows and is easy to follow.

I hate the cliffy at the end, but am happy to have the next episode ready to read!

Keith and Natalie both have a past that haunts them. They both feel an immediate attraction to each other but both are fighting it due to previous relationship mishaps that have made them afraid to trust. This first book in the series is a sexual tension filled story that just keeps building and building as the story continues. The cliff hanger ending left you feeling the tension as if it were your own. I can't wait to read the second book. I hope they both finally give in to their desires for each other and face their fears and road blocks together.

Very slow burn … ends in a cliffhanger

This was a quick read with an extremely slow burn. I found myself bogged down in all the internal dialogue and contradictions with Keith. He was someone who said one thing when his actions were the opposite. I was surprised he wasn’t fired for his antics with his previous personal assistant. I liked Natalie though. I admired her determination to succeed and her efforts to better herself despite lacking a formal education. The story didn’t get interesting for me until the 80% mark.

This review is being left voluntarily and any and all opinions are my honest thoughts about this book and the authors work. This was a quick, fast read that ends in a cliffhanger. There are no actual sex scenes but there is a seductive slow build between Keith and Natalie that was hot. The chemistry was instant and in a way unwelcome to each. Touch of humor throughout. The writing was smooth and moved along nicely. Overall good book.

Keith needs an assistant but he wasn't expecting the woman that came in for the interview. Natalie applies for a job that requires no professional experience. She's smart, sassy, and diligent. He expected Natalie to be just like the rest of the assistants that were hired but she once again threw him, sparks fly between Keith and Natalie. Some parts were really humorous. Well written. Ends on a cliff hanger. Although there was no actual sex between Keith and Natalie I would say this whole book was sort of foreplay for them. I can't wait to read the second book.

Natalie is a young woman in NY looking for a job and Keith is looking for a personal assistant. He calls her to come in 45 minutes for an interview, she ends up late because of her limited wardrobe. He thinks that he knows her type but still gives her a chance because she lets him know that he doesn't know her type.
I loved how the story goes slow with individual inner dialogues & they are getting to know each other as work colleagues through this he becomes protective of her.

I loved this book. The sexual tension between Mr. Shaw and Natalie is exquisite. I love the fact that they flirt and dance around each other without relief. Definite cliff hanger as it keeps you hanging and worth the quick read.

I enjoyed Natalie's character, but Keith was really weird for me. He seemed to be all over the place character wise. I couldn't pin point if he was a jerk or a nice guy with a jerk exterior. There were certain parts of the book where I also felt he should have had more consequences then he got.

This was a great read! I really love the dynamic between Keith and Natalie. She really is someone he should take note of. The banter and tension between them keeps you on your toes while reading this book. I cannot wait to read the second book to see what happens!!

A Good Read

I really liked this story. It is a really well written book with lovely characters who have great chemistry and interaction that pull you into their story. This is an Entertaining, Must Read Romance that is worthy of your time and I would recommend it to anyone. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. The stunning first book in a series has Keith and Natalie interacting with plenty of hot chemistry. This is a well written story with lots of sparks flying. This story has a cliffhanger ending so I want to read the next in the series to find out what happens next. I enjoyed this story.

On Edge by Rose Harper is a short dark erotica suspense romance. The first book in the Wicked Liaison Trilogy series, it contains a cliffhanger which I'm not that happy about it. Planty of chemistry between the characters but not actual sex scenes. I still enjoyed the storyline.
