She's the only one I ever wanted. And she's just become my enemy. There's a rat threatening to take down the whole club. An old business partner's been picked up by the cops and the word is out that he's going to talk. That’s where I come in. It's my job as enforcer for the Wayward Kings to make sure this guy eats a bullet before he can open his mouth. And I'm ready to prove my loyalty to the club with bullets and blood. Except I didn't count on the woman I’ve fallen for getting hired to be his lawyer. Maria. The fiery redhead I've wanted to claim for my own since the day we met. This is her shot at the big time and she's risking everything on this case. Now she's in my way. The stakes are high and time is running out. Because I'm not the only gun in town aiming to silence this rat. And his other business partners don’t have any of my hangups -- they’ll kill their target and her, too, just for working with him. I have to make a do I save my club or do I save my Maria? 'Ozzy' is a full-length, standalone and steamy bad boy romance with guaranteed HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger! It’s also the second book in the Wayward Kings MC series. While it is a standalone, characters from the previous novel, Bear, make appearances.

I'm a romance writer, currently traveling the world, seeing all that it has to offer, and probably drinking a little too much wine.

I like striking stories. Romances, UF, PNR. Stories about men that move you, heroines with spines of steel, and villains that make your bones quake. Add in some sexual heat and a HEA, and that's what I try to provide.

I loved this read just as much as the first book in this series so even though I received an advanced copy, I had to buy it. This story of Ozzy and Maria, two characters we met in the first book Bear. Ozzy has a thing for Maria and even Maria feels for Ozzy, they both make each other happy and talk all the time. They are friends and enjoy being with each other so when Maria gets the case of a lifetime dealing with a horrible man to make a deal with the US Attorney’s office, a deal that could put the MC club in jail, Maria has to make some hard choices. But it’s not all black and white, the MC is like her family, her BFF is married to one of the MC members, Bear, and Ozzy is a man she is falling in love with...what will she do ?
Another amazing read I couldn’t put down with oh my steamy scenes, some chuckles and laughing out loud at some of the banter between many of the characters and dialogue about a TV show, danger and action, murder and mayhem and some suspense. I loved how both Ozzy and Maria didn’t play games, didn’t hold anything back, were blunt and honest (most times) with each other, no other side women waiting to tear them apart, Ozzy fiercely protecting Maria and how he didn’t turn his back on her when she needed him the most. Maria with all her internal battles, torn between doing the right thing or turning her back on the MC and then her struggle as to what happens when it’s all on the line and then the ending....LOVED IT !!!

Wow - this was an amazing, intense book! Maria and Ozzy are already sort of seeing each other, at least their interest in each other is no secret. But then they find themselves on opposites sides of dealing with a scumbag - Maria, as a lawyer, is part of his defense team, while Ozzy, as an enforcer for the club, needs to make sure he doesn't leak any information that could hurt the club. Ethics, loyalties, priorities - it all comes into question as they deal with all the unexpected stuff that comes into play.

At its core, this story is a visceral examination of what differentiates good people from bad. It's never as clear-cut as we want to think, and this author brilliantly allows all the questions and opinions to play out in this story, while not always being handy with the answers - just as in real life. The foundation of family and love clearly drives this story and makes it work regardless of the moral dilemmas. Ozzy and Maria may not have a lot in common, but they know what's important in life and they know how to take care of each other. In the end, that's all that really matters.

This book will have you cheering, gasping, and even cringing a little bit. It's an intelligent book that stays with you long after the romantic HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Ozzy (Wayward Kings MC Book 2) is a sexy and steam filled read. Book offers an intense plot that is filled with drama, action, emotion, passion and romance. Features Ozzy, a sexy, dominate alpha biker and Maria, a strong, feisty, smart attorney. Very entertaining read, that has a great couple and a plot that grabs and keeps your interest well. I'm posting an honest, voluntary review after reading an advanced copy of this book.

Amazing passionate and sexy read. Very well written short story with great storyline and plot. The characters are well described and develops nicely. They are likeable and I had a great time reading this story. A story with twists that only makes it better and more captivating. A book with lots of chemistry and passion. Story about letting fate choose your future. Opposites attracks.

Opposites do attract

Ozzy was an enforcer in the club, Maria a lawyer who had difficulty accepting just what the club did. Areas of gray made it hard to decider the good from the bad. When hired to help defend a criminal who was not happy with the Kings and was about to tell the authorities of their questionable dealings. I found some confusion as to what was going on exactly between the lawyers and the MC.

I was disappointed in this second book in the Wayward Kings MC series. I loved both Ozzy and Maria in the first book, but I could not get a feel for them in this one. Aside from that, there were SO many editing misses to be terribly distracting. I would rate higher if the characters were fleshed out more. There just was no depth, I really didn't care whether they got together or not.

I loved Ozzy and Maria's story! I enjoyed that they knew each other thru friends and kept in touch and flirty. Then when they came together again things heat up! There is danger and crime and that attraction the heats up and boils over! And Rugby! I recommend this story!

I really liked this book. It was my first time reading this series. Ozzy is a bad boy and Marie is a fire cracker. When Ozzy must choose between Marie and his club, love always prevails. Really great read. I voluntarily received a copy of the book for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book, the characters in it are well written and have depth. They are also believable and likeable.... well most of the time they are! The fact that Ozzy is in an MC, and it isn't one of those prettied up 'legal' ones that some authors feel compelled to write about. No this MC has a darker side, but hopes that the good it does (like keeping out worse gangs) outweighs this.
"There's a whole lot of grey. You can't just draw a line and say everything on one side is illegal and everything on the other isn't."
Maria frowns. "Isn't that the whole point of 'illegal' verses 'legal'?"

This summed up my battle with loving Ozzy, can you accept someone who isn't always on the 'right' side of the law. However, this guy is not only super sexy but so massively caring (and it's a book after all) that you can't help but accept him as he is. Not that it's that simple or easy for Maria.

Maria and Ozzy were both in the previous book, Bear, but this can still easily be read as a stand alone. There is nothing in here that really requires you to have read the previous book - although it is really good so you'd be missing out if you don't read it!

The plot is fast paced, has lots of twists and turns, plenty of action and a good dollop of steam. Maria is involved in defending a very nasty man but for the sake of her career she is prepared to do so. Whilst this is 'legal', it is a lot less moral than many of Ozzy's actions, it also puts her life in danger.

This book held my attention from start to finish and I just couldn't put it down. It's really well written and an absolute must for any lover of MC books, or just well written romances.
