Re-read in 2025. Still as lovely. The review below sticks!

2018 Review:

What a charming little book consisting of 63 pages which affords two pages for each woman. It's enough quench a thirst for knowledge. It's also enough to help one decide if one wants to learn more about a certain woman in history.

I personally loved reading about Pocahontas, Mercy Warren, Sacajawea and Julia Morgan the best. I can see reading more about each of them.

This was another very small gift book. I got it in a clearance sale from Franklin Covey where I get my weekly planner each year. Very small quick read in which a learned a few trivial things ... Seems like a nice small gift item to give to a young lady you would want to encourage through the stories of others... Some of this history of contributions by these outstanding ladies deserves much more attention and recognition.

Very good book. Most of the women I heard of, but a few surprises. A nice easy little book to read.

This is a wonderful little book. This lets people know that women have a lot more to do with this country than what they tell us in the history books at school.
