She currently makes her home in a small inland city in New South Wales, works 20 hours a week in an 'outside' job in the health care industry, and continues to write stories of hope and triumph for her readers around the globe.
As Jennie Adams began her writing career with the publication of her first two Mills & Boon romance stories in 2005. Her strong heroes and feisty, determined heroines have warmed the hearts of readers all over the world, with her books being translated into numerous foreign language editions. Although she fights the impulse, Jennie still tries to decipher each foreign edition when it arrives in the mail. Italian, anyone? An avid romance reader, particularly in the historical romance genre, Jennie is the self-confessed owner of an over-active imagination. 3 Stars ~ All alone in the world, except for her best friend Katherine, 22 year old Phoebe chose child care for a profession. She'd learnt that she was incapable of having her own children and caring for other's seemed to fill part of that hole in her heart. When Katherine calls to tell her her brother Max is desperate for help, Phoebe of course agrees to step in. It seems Max has just been handed his twin four year-old sons upon the accidental death of their mother; sons he hadn't known he fathered.
When Phoebe arrives at Mountain Gem, the Saunders farm outside of Sydney, she walks in on chaos. The boys screaming and Max clearly not coping. But he's not happy to see her; hadn't known Katherine had called her; and was eager to see her on her way again. With the two boys in such obvious need, tempted though she is, Phoebe can't leave. And quickly Max realizes that she's right, the boys need her.
Ms. Adams has a sense of humour and easily puts Max and Phoebe in the most awkward of situations. The boys, Josh and Jake, are adorable and the perfect means to keep the grown-ups on edge. From the first pages, it's obvious that Max and Phoebe have always had a turbulent relationship, but now, they have a fierce attraction to each other to complicate things. It's a bumpy ride, but they finally get to their HEA.

Bonito. Es una historia de amor medio clásica, corta y con final feliz. La disfruté. Tiene un poco de emoción, no hay mucho ir y venir entre los protagonistas (y si lo hay, no es desesperante ni tóxico). Para ser corta la historia, la escrito profundiza en la vida de Max y Phoebe. Creo use su aversión del pasado se debía a que inconscientemente se sentían atraídos por el otro aunque no lo pudieran ver. Toda historia cómo está le hace falta un poco de drama y aquí vino en forma de Felicity, no me cae bien, causó muchos problemas pero se resolvieron en cuestión de días. ... narrado en tercera persona y ofrece los puntos de vista de los protagonistas. Está bien una para lectura de relajación.

While there were a lot a typical cliche moments (as expected with one of these books) and predictable as can be, I still had a fun time with this. It is a fast read. It got a few chuckles out of me even. I really like Phoebe's character. Besides catching a jealousy bug, she is very mature for her age. I felt a bit sorry for Max with how he looks at how one should live life. So glad Phoebe helped to change that. I actually like their interactions. The multi=layered frustrations and behaviors amused me.

Dalla trama sul retro poteva essere interessante, ma poi ho aperto e c'erano di mezzo dei bambini.
Leggo per il trash, ma questo era solo triste, non mi è piaciuto nulla né mi ha fatto ridere.

Meh. This was ok. The couple argued like crazy for the first 3/4 of the book. The only reason I gave it the half star up is because Max finally came around and told her he loved her and they ended up with a HEA and pregnant.

Foooooome. Fome el libro. Muy, pero muy predecible, pero sin ese "qué sé yo", que igual hace que un libro predecible valga la pena. Fue casi como leer el diario de un preadolescente con el "me dijo, no me dijo, me mira, no me mira", además.
Me aburrí tanto que al final ni siquiera lo terminé.
