Rate this book
There was a boy in the Wiley Security Center that was being held for shoplifting. Well, he had that one night with Sheryl Stone twelve years ago when they were teenagers.Preston started thinking that his one mistake with Sheryl may have had consequences after all. Or was he worried for nothing? The boy could be lying, but that opened up a new line of If the boy was telling the truth, what could have happened to Miss Pam and Sheryl for the boy to look so shabby and to resort to stealing?

Goodread

I loved this book . I love the Wiley brothers. I can't wait to read the other Wiley Brothers books. I loved the way the Wiley Brothers series is written. At first I was annoyed at the way the first book ended, because I wanted to see what happened to the boys after losing the stores and their home. But whiler reading For Pete's Sake the gaps were nicely filled in. I so enjoyed reading about the brothers in their adult hood. They have a love for each other that only God Himself could only give . They are the example of godly, men of honour who survived a major storm in their lives. I love the characterist8cs of each Wiley Brother. Specifically Preston, who is every woman's dream. He is upfront, no nonsense, yet gentle, protective , romantic and loving. I was so happy to see how a mistake can be made into a miracle. Who would ever thought Pete would be his son and how God put Preston and Sheryl together. I know this can happen in real life because He is God. I can't wait to read the next Wiley Brother book. Great book.

Heartwarming

I'm loving the Wiley Brothers series. The bond they share, even as adults, is enviable. This installment brought a lost love and a new love to Preston, the oldest brother. When love is real and meant to be, everything aligns together perfectly. I enjoyed the new addition to the Wileys and the instant love they all shared. Great reading.

This was an excellent read. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series.

The author has brought out an issue with mental illness you never know how it affects the individual or the people they are surrounded by.

Great job in writing this story.

My favorite book yet

Every time I read Brenda Barrett's books, I cannot put it down. I read this book in just two-three days. On my day off, I stayed in bed and read for the entire day until I finished the entire book. I am so happy for Preston, Sheryl and Pete. I love the storyline as well as the ending. All of her books don't end as a happy ever after, but it is reality and life but I love them. As long as she continues to write, I will continue to be a fan and buy Brenda Barrett's books.

I would give this book about 3.5 stars. I like the story and although short it was still a good read. This is a series of I believe 5 books. This is the type of series that can go well into 8 or more books, telling the stories of how each of the siblings find their own way to love and happiness. I will probably read the other books as short reads.. This was a very clean and our love story of past experiences and regrets showing themselves in the present.

Great read!!

Well, I need to go back and read book 0,... IF I knew, I would start there. Dang!!
That was an incredible read, boy, I wish I could read over and strangle that douche Noel. He is truly obnoxious, I hope he gets fired, after losing the Wiley's account and become unemployable.
Preston, such a great guy, and so deserving of his beautiful family. All the brothers are wonderful, and... Looking forward reading their stories.

For Pete’s Sake( Wiley Brothers Book 1)

I loved this story of how the Wiley brothers weathered the terrible storm by sticking together. They each pursued their passions and became successful business men some even partners in the family grocery business. I love how the storyline of Sheryl Stone was revisited and the child she and her mother put up for adoption. God can turn your darkest nights into days, as Preston Wiley and Sheryl Stone was able to attest to.

Great Title

The title gives a perfect description of Preston's story. I gave this particular book four stars because, while it was enjoyable, it was very predictable early on. Overall I enjoyed reading Preston's story. Like many of her other books this one gave my faith a personal boost.

Different but entertaining storyline

Interesting story of Preston and Sheryl, and Pete, and their faith in God. So nice to see family loyalty and there is enough tension to keep you reading to the end!

Mature read as sex is mentioned in many different instances. I was disappointed to see casual use of “hell” in dialogue a few times.

Great read!

It was refreshing to read how the past came back to mend the present. Preston never knew that he had a son, but the persistence of a young man that was trying to find his grandmother brought him straight to his dad. I couldn’t stand Jaylee or Noel and I can only hope that they get their Karma.

The greatest of these is love

I'm in love with the Wiley Brothers . Interesting story of Preston, Pete, Sheryl and back history occurring 12 years ago. Through God's design, these three were brought together. Of course there's the bad penny trying to throw shade but in the end , love wins!!!

Enjoyable

Enjoyed reading this book. Sheryl worked hard to get her life back on track and to have her ex try and discredit her was horrible. It was nice seeing the Wiley brothers so close after what happened between their parents.
