Amazing and what a privilege reading this book! Being a man who is in love with God already; such writings caused a smile to my face; tears of joy from my eyes and a heart that would grow deeper in love with God. Such a powerful devotion unfolding blessings in my life that simply brightens my darkest of days. A book that I would recommend to man or woman alike who loves God wanting a deeper loving relationship. In addition I have used this book time and time again in counseling sessions to share the goodness and love of God

I loved His Princess and was excited when I found this one at a thrift store. While I did find it uplifting and heartwarming from time to time, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the first. This one was a little over the top. I'm a big believer in the teaching that Christ is our husband and we are his bride, as it is biblical--and as a happily single girl, I thrive on this notion--but it was a bit too mushy even for me. It's almost embarrassing to read. Maybe this is because I had someone tell me that it's wrong to think about Christ this way. In any case, it didn't prevent me from enjoying it and I'd still love to read the other books and Shepherd's other resources, though.

Such a sweet and encouraging book. So many of the letters were what I needed to hear each day. This book reminded me who my Eternal Husband is, and helped me fall in love with Him (The Lord Jesus) all the more.

This daily devotional by Sheri Rose Shepherd was awesome it had me in tears and in reflection daily . The way it was written as love letters from our Heavenly Prince to us and our response to his love letter was priceless and the signature closings always did me in. Such a good little devotional.

Soy católica, laica consagrada, y este libro me llegó como un regalo de parte de Jesús, y estando consagrada a Él fue increíble sentir que me hablara como a su esposa amada. Pero independientemente de tu rama cristiana y si estás o no consagrada a Jesús, estas cartas deberían ser un must en nuestra vida de oración, pues nos permiten profundizar nuestra relación con Jesús, recordar sus promesas y sentir su amor de una manera especial.

El libro funciona así: hay una carta de Jesús para ti, sustentada con algún versículo de la Biblia, y luego viene lo que responderías como su novia, junto con otro versículo de la Biblia. Son alrededor de 50 cartas y se tocan distintos temas, como el amor de Jesús a ti, cartas para momentos de duda o de tristeza, cartas para entregarle el día, etc.

Yo mantuve el libro junto a mi cama y lo leía en las noches, cuando sentía que necesitaba que Jesús me hablara, y fue sorprendente ver cómo la carta que tocaba ese día correspondía con mis emociones y lo que necesitaba escuchar.

I loved this book. I had a physical copy years ago when I was a baby Christian and after a decade of dark nights and desert seasons I found it on kindle unlimited and reread it in a day. It’s exactly what my thirsty soul needed to read!
Written really well to be a spiritual dialogue between you and Jesus Christ. It is gentle for weary hearts needing a touch from the Master.
