Plotless memoir parading as fiction, which is kinda gross considering she spends a lot of time romanticizing negligent parenting. Reading about a birth in the late 60s was fascinating, but I wish I would have put it down after that.

If you don't find atists too pretentious, this is a unique representation of motherhood. I enjoyed it. Most of it.
