Long ago I stumbled across the comics on Do Fantasy. The works tended to have, for the most part, well drawn comics, while the stories that were told tended to be quite horrifying to read. With a few exceptions here or there, the stories tended to be quite 'let's beat on women past the point they've stopped squealing' and occasionally 'oops, now we've killed them'.
Occasionally the woman gets the upper hand, but, if not in that specific comic, somewhere along the line that woman will also be 'conquered'.
For whatever reason, though, I find myself occasionally looking at the comics. Oh, right, because of the drawings. Eh, I can look at the pretty pictures and create my own stories in my head (woman goes jogging, is captured, is stripped, she grabs a knife, cuts everyone's dicks off, pulls on clothes, leaves - no woman gets off that easily in a DoFantasy story, that's me altering things).
So, imagine my surprise when I came across this series here. Still on-going as far as I know. Because there's an actual story here (of a 'whoa, this porn movie actually has a pretty interesting story!' type of story), and a much stronger plot than normal, and much stronger female figures. Of course they are 'under the thumb' of a man, but they are quite strong otherwise. There's even a backstory as to why this specific 'dirty cop' 'allows herself' to be a dirty cop to these thugs. ().
I read the six comics all in one gulp. One after the other. So I cannot really recall which story line was in each comic. Though it is a continuing story line.
For several reasons, despite some of the praise I give above, I do not really recommend this comic series to anyone. It is still too misogynistic and brutal to ever recommend.
