I knew what I was getting into with this book. I read the blurb. I read friends' reviews. I was expecting Momma kink.
But EXPECTING Momma kink and actually reading about Momma kink are two different things.
I was exeedinlgy uncomfortable with the sex scenes in this book. I don't even much like Daddy kink, especially when it plays up the incest angle, and I'm not a Daddy. I am, however, a Mum, and NOTHING about an incestuous mother/son relationship is sexy to me. It's disturbing and disgusting, and ... just NO. I can't stand to even think about it.
While I understand that Momma and Mike were role playing, and that Mike is not actually Momma's teenage boy, I couldn't get past the idea of such a scenario.
We know very little about Mike, except that he's heteroflexible and likes being disciplined. We know a little more about Momma (who used to work in a bank but now makes 50s-inspired female clothing), but Momma's backstory is vague as well.
What Momma and Mike have is a full-time Momma/boy relationship. Sometimes Momma steps out of her role and talks to Mike like Mike is a man, not a teenager, but it's an exception to the rule.
Even though Momma is NOT transgender (Momma considers herself a man and a transvestite, not a woman), Mike thinks of Momma as a female. In his head, he uses female pronouns: HER dick.
I love stories with femme characters. I dig a man in heels and lipstick. But Momma didn't read like a man to me, at all. Even when she had her cock out, she was Momma. Like Mike, I didn't think of Momma as a man, so the title of the book seems deceiving; Under Her Stilleto might be a better fit.
I can't imagine how a relationship like this would play out in the long-term. Isn't Momma ever going to have an off day and not want to doll herself up like Donna Reed? We get a brief epilogue, but it wasn't enough to make me believe in the HEA.
Honestly, I don't think a HEA is really the point. This is a kinky story with a genderbending twist focused on D/s domestic discipline. It was totally and completely not my thing, but, hey, I admire the Merikans for writing outside the box.

When I realised what I was about to read, I admit I got a little scared. I'm okay with Daddy kink most times. Hell I even read a book with a DD/lb-dynamic recently and I loved it. But this is basically mommy kink and I have a son myself, so I thought I'd spend the whole time cringing. Good thing that, as a reader, I can compartmentalize like nobody's business. Also, Momma identified as a man, so I was more than ok.
If you 're not ready to try something outside your comfort zone, there is no reason to read this.
Under His Stiletto is mostly FUN. Short lengthed, imaginative, with very likeable characters with some backstory, and mostly focused on the kink.
Mike's coworkers catcall the wrong person. Nobody messes with Momma. So when chases her down to make sure she doesn't go to their boss, momma will give him a piece of her mind. And some yard work. And a spanking. But not before he finishes his cookies.
"Young man, you need to be punished for your actions. I will not let you off the hook just because you said sorry. Be there, or face the consequences of your actions,” she said and walked off, without waiting for an answer.
Mike squeezed the business card and bit his lip like a schoolboy told to pull his pants down.
So. Fucking. Hot.
In reality, Momma is Jeremy (although nobody calls her that any more). She's a full time tranvestite, always dressed like a sixties housewife, with impeccable hairdo and make-up.
Now the kink. Well, Mike doesn't only like strong minded, powerful women who dominate him. Apparently, he totally gets off on being disciplined by his momma. The Merikans did not shy away from the kink here.
But Momma has walls around her heart because she's been burned, and Mike isn't looking for commitment. After all, he's just a boy, right? But living in Momma's house day after day, eating her packed lunches, doing chores, sharing her '60s house and her bed, protecting her from the mean guys who hurt her in the past (that's right, Mike is possessive of his Momma!), Mike and Momma will soon realise that they 're actually a match made in haven. They give each other exactly what they need.
The ending is the sweetest thing ever. It put a huge smile on myself.
If kink is your thing or if you 're ready to push your boundaries, read this. It's so wrong in the best way.

Oh, my...what have we here?! Under His Stiletto was a first for me. It was kind of a crazy ride, but I also kinda loved it!
How often does a cat call end with appropriate punishment? Not nearly often enough, if you ask me. This time, though, Mike, whom his colleagues agreed was the best looking of them, is tasked with smoothing over the ruffled feathers of a woman who took them to task for catcalling. A woman, who Mike noticed wasn't necessarily what she seemed. However, Mike is drawn to strong, dominant women and this retro bombshell trips his trigger like no one else.
Mamma was rather unexpected. She's a lady, but identifies as a man. She just likes the retro hairstyles, clothing and design. This is a short story and honestly, it's Kat and Agnes at their finest.
The thing about K.A is that they write kinky and very niche stories but it's not like "here have some kinky sex", not at all. They really try to explore different themes and gives us a glimpse of different lifestyles and preferences. Yes, you get the kinky sex but also get to know very interesting and most of the time, lovable characters. I honestly believe that I've become a better person since reading their stories because there are things that I might have unfairly judged if it wasn't presented to me in this light.
Such is the case with this story, I had a huge smile on my face the whole story because I thought it was sweet. These two individuals are just living and trying to be happy. It was very heartwarming.
I really love the fact that it was something different, I've never read anything like it and it's honestly not even something that I would seek but these writers grab these characters and make them as real as possible. You are rooting for them and their happiness.

Personally, for me, I don't think anyone writes this type of slightly twisted, just a little bit 'wrong' but absolutely perfectly kinky story quite like Kat and Agnes.
This one pushes boundaries but in a totally respectful, but seriously erotic, fashion as Mike discovers all he wants to be is Momma's good boy.
There's only a couple of sex scenes but they're worth every bit of the build up and the connection between the two grows rapidly after their chance encounter.
I would have loved this to be even longer and to see a bit more of Momma's discipline for her naughty boy.

Trust the awesome duo that is K.A. Merikan to introduce me to a new kink: Momma play. This was sexy and completely unique. Ok so yeah this book has some seriously mind bending kink. If you cant compartmentalize then yeah don't read this because yeah mommy kink. Not mommy though what being a mom represents that's what it's about but yeah some people cant disassociate the two. Overall I thought the book was really good. I think Mike and Momma are exactly what the other needs. It was taboo and seductive and had a great HEA.

This was really weird and just not for me. And there were too many elements going on at once for me to keep track of.

Woow… Under His Stiletto was such a swieeet, adorable, endearing and funny read! It had this 'Dirty Dancing' feeling... 'Grease' was another movie that popped up in my mind; petty coats and all.... but then worn by a guy. I loved everything about this book! A typical K.A. Merikan story. I absolutely love how these girls think (write).
Momma was a man, who dresses like a woman all the time (self-confessed full-time transvestite), but doesn't want to become a woman. Mike (Michael) was a guy and - until he meets Momma - he sexually 'swings both ways' as long as he gets what he wants. And boy, does Momma gives him what he wants.
I liked that it wasn't just about sex. Mike really wanted to please Momma. Even though it seemed like he wasn't 'gonna get any' from her/him, Mike still pursued her and let Momma take care of him… and discipline him when he was a 'bad boy'.
Momma is not looking for sex but searching for love and true commitment... and is afraid Mike will only break her heart. {Maar gelukkig... aan het einde komt het allemaal goed, lol!} Loved this story, just LOVED it!
Somehow I never think of cross dressing and taboo role playing as a serious life style? But after reading this book, I have a feeling it might be?
I loved the role playing, what was a way of life for Momma… and turned out to fulfill all Michael's needs and fantasies. Reluctant in the beginning, but in the end Mike realizes Momma ticks all his boxes and he goes for it. I absolutely loved the thunderstorm night when Mike finally dared to take the initiative.
I was a little confused with Momma being consistently called 'she' while she was a man.
This book made me wonder… does it really exists? Being a gay man, dressing and living like a woman 24/7 but don’t have the desire to really become a woman?
I loved this book and I can recommend it to anyone who likes to read about people with less-common kinks. Momma and Mike's story warmed my heart!
Note: Books like this (for me) contribute to a greater understanding of people with alternative lifestyles. Not everybody fits in the prescribed boxes most people want to put other people in. And although I think I'm quiet broad- and open minded, when I see an transvestite, a cross dresser or a transgender, I unintentionally snicker {schiet ongewild in de lach}.
Reading this book, I realized that this kind of thing might be very real for some people? Admirable and brave when you feel like this and you dare to live your life like that, even knowing you might be ridiculed by most people. When I ever see a transvestite somewhere on the street again, I'm sure I will think about this story and look at it with more understanding.

When K.A. Merikan, the dynamic duo write there are content warnings it's not a joke. The authors know how to play with taboos, with crazy ideas and let their character sometimes act very unventional. If you love all this, this duo will give you one of the best kinky and unique stories you ever read. I admit I have to be in the right mood to "endure" the books by the author duo but when I'm into them I can't put the books down. The same was with Under his Stiletto, a novella with a taboo role play with a Mommy-kink, discipline play and punishment.
I really liked that the character almost totally stayed in character, with just a few, fitting exeptions this book was what the title is suggesting: a taboo, role play where a man is dressing as a woman and in charge of the "son" she gets with Mike.
I also was pleasantly surprised by the open talk Mike and Momma aka Jeremy have, Momma explains why she (she insists of using female pronouns) is wearing the clothes, the reason behind and Mike is more than happy to have Momma in his life. I also loved the vulnerability shown in the book, behind the role play and keeping in character we see a different side of Momma/Jeremy.
The book was a really good read, very different to what I normally read and some parts were hard on my limit but with keeping the rules and being in character as well as the whole setting I could get my head better into the kink. I could see the commitment and the talking was good and necessary because this way not only Mike and Momma are on the same page, it gives the reader a security too. 5 out of 5 stars. Sometimes you want to read a kinky story with a taboo topic and not being stopped by your own head, this is a great book for this purpose. :)

How can you resist that title and that cover?? This is an epic short story, yes it's kinky and contains crossdressing themes some people may not like but it's done so well!!! I read the whole thing in one sitting and its short enough to allow that for maximum enjoyment. True bliss

I’ve been trying to move out of my comfort zone when it comes to choosing romance reads, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try something very new for me. Though I enjoy a lot of BDSM romance, I’ve never ventured into mommy kink before, even in F/F works, and I’ve never read a romance with a cross-dressing character (Momma is a full-time transvestite, not a trans woman). There are a lot of really yummy things about this short story, but it left me wanting a lot more.
The spanking and discipline is scorching, especially as Mike allows himself to sink right into subspace and let Momma take care of him completely. I wanted a little more of the BDSM aspect of their relationship, though. There are only two major BDSM scenes and they are both mostly sex-centered, which left me wanting much more of the non-sexual aspects of Momma and Mike’s mutually-satisfying dom/sub relationship. Momma seems to be really into having a service sub who treats her like a goddess, so I wish she was a little stricter with Mike, who let his privates do most of his thinking. I wish they went a little deeper into the eroticism and kinkiness of a BDSM relationship that doesn’t always end in sex.
Momma ended up being a really good character with a lovely backstory. I was worried at first that she’d be more fetishized than anything, but when other characters did try to disrespect her or call her derogatory names, they were shut down right away. Mike was respectful of her needs and asked about her identity and pronouns so he didn’t offend her. I like how her history with her grandmother allowed her to fully embrace her love for cross-dressing and seek out positive experiences with “boys” like Mike.
Mike was a less interesting character in my opinion. He seemed to not take their role-playing as seriously as Momma in the way he slipped into the speech/habits of a teenage boy, but at the same time, he craved discipline at her hand. They ended up being an awesome couple, but he was a bit of an inconsistent character, even in a very short piece of writing, and it make some of the role-playing dirty talk a little weak.
And I must admit, in my naivete, I’m at a bit of a loss as to how to tag this. Momma is comfortable as a cross-dressing man, but since her and Mike’s relationship is based mainly on role-playing, she’s consistently referred to as a woman. I feel like this isn’t exactly an M/M work, but it would be inaccurate to tag it as M/F. I’d feel comfortable categorizing this as both a bisexual and gay erotic story based off the way Momma and Mike describe their relationship and their own identities. I hope that works well for other readers and helps them find this if it is something they’d enjoy.
This was a rewarding reading experience, even if it ended up being a case of “maybe not my thing, but will certainly please someone else.” I see that the writing duo K.A. Merikan breaks a lot of boundaries with their works, so I’ll definitely keep an eye on what they think up next.

Under His Stiletto is the newest K.A. Merikan book and sadly is on the shorter side.
When I started reading I was thinking that I knew I'm signing up for. I read flash fic (and then my roommates read the flash fic) and I thought “That's so new! And hot!”. But I wasn't ready. This book is so much more than flash fic was, and I'm so happy I could read this because live is about trying new things, isn't it.
The whole mommy kink is new to me (I mean I never read anything with it), and at first I was confused (he is a man, but she is Momma, so he is she? Or not? Yes? No?) but Mike is a great guy and with him I discovered and understand new things. And I really liked to experience how different may be someone's lifestyle.
The main characters are very likable. From the first page I loved Mike, I even don't know why, he just seemed like a funny guy. I immediately got invested in his quest to apologise for his coworkers. Because cat calling a lady is wrong! And don't get me start on Momma, she is very fragile but stern lady. I liked how she would quicky put Mike on his place.
There are only a few sex scenes. I think Mike thinks more about it than he is doing it? But they are hot. Mike may try to be a good boy, but he has very dirty mind. And because of this his Momma have to punish him. In Momma's household discipline is very important.
Feeling. In this book there are so many feelings. Good ones, and the bad ones too. (But more good ones.) I especially liked how possessive and protective of his Momma Mike was.
And the ending. I won't write anything besides it was perfect and very fitting to Mike and Momma's story.
Do I recommend this book? God, yes. I mean it can be not your cup of tea, but give it a try (if you are good to try new things and open minded), because it's funny, kinky and warm story.
So make some tea, prepare cookies and enjoy this ride with Mike and his Momma.

I simply loved this short but intense story. The protagonists, Mike and Momma, meet by chance and immediately you can see a spark ignite in the eyes of Mike, in front of the beauty of this "lady" that seems to have come out from a movie of the 50s and with the strong personality of a woman who won't be spoken down by anyone, which will only attract our dear Mike even more.
The chemistry between them is immediately clear, accentuated by the fact that both see in the other the characteristics for an ideal partner, even if for various reasons, both are reluctant to open up to a real relationship, but with time and after having got to know each other more, in addition to their sexual tastes, our protagonists will be able to find their happiness.
The book, as we already know from the tags and warnings, contains kinks that may not be suitable for everyone, but if you are a pervert like me (sorry not sorry xD) or if you are ready to try new things with an open mind, then this book is for you. As always, with these authors I would like to know even more of these magnificent characters because a book is never enough and I already miss them <3
PS: Be ready to be hungry as it often happens with their books, because surely after reading this book you will want to eat homemade cookies and drink a good tea ;)

Mike is a very open minded sort of construction worker that is seeking dominance and he isn't picky about the gender or sexuality of his partner. It just so happens that the woman he and his friends harass turns out to be the Momma of his dreams.
It was a fun, unusual kinky story that refreshingly doesn't follow m/m tropes, even BDSM tropes too closely and finds its own footing.
Since Daddy kink is really not my thing and this was a role reversal of that I struggled a little but found myself rooting for them in all their weird relationshipness in the end.

These ladies never cease to amaze me with their over the top stories. K.A. always takes me somewhere I've never imagined going. I can always count on them for amazing characters, entertaining plots, and sexy boys. This book was no exception. It was a novella so it was fast paced. I enjoyed this quick read. Every time I think of some of the scenes in this book I just smh. I will never figure out how they come up with this stuff. Love these ladies.
