The lead female character in Ragini is considered as the milestone in Marathi literature. The writer has taken considerable pains to pen down various shades of human nature. Readers are able to experience the sanctity and vastness of Himalayas and river Bhagirathi. Shades of humour, philosophy, poetry and seriousness have been harmoniously woven presenting a captivating story.
The language is simple and lucid, it is matured and meaningful.
The philosophical angle of life has surely gained more space throughout but it does not act as a barrier. Rather, it helps to make the reading more significant.
Those readers who tend to find meaning from creative writing can also find meaning throughout.
The hero of this novel praises Ragini by saying that the company of Ragini is like that of the holy river Ganga, the many saints and poets. The readers would agree to heroes quote after reading the novel.
