Breeze and Brody work to save themselves and Leap of Faith from Hurricane Irma. Meanwhile, the FBI has a new director. He’s working to tie up loose ends and Brody is one of them.
Breeze marshals all of his resources to protect her. His first instinct is to run. They keep moving, but every path they take puts on them on a collision course with their destiny.
Enduring Breeze combines all the action you’ve come to expect from your favorite anti-hero, with political intrigue ripped from today’s headlines.
I read for enjoyment, not to be inundated with bias republican politics. I will be saying good bye to Breeze at this point. Every book up to this point was great I will say.
Enduring Breeze: Trawler Trash Series Book 10 is by Ed Robinson. This is his political book as he goes into detail as to what is going on in the real world while he is trying to survive in his world. There was a new FBI director and he recalled Brody to Washington. He wants to reinstate her and move her to wherever she wants, of course. However, it isn’t something she can turn down. She realizes they are manipulating her. She decides to run away with Breeze instead. They head south on Fred’s yacht, Incognito. Fred leaves them to finalize a huge deal and as soon Fred slips off the boat, the bad guys attack. They manage to run them off and keep Fred’s investment intact. As they cross the ocean to get try to stay away from the man who was sent to kill Brody. Can they find the assassin before he strikes?
While I have enjoyed the first 9 books in this series Enduring Breeze is a hugh disappointment. I read fiction novels for enjoyment, not for the author's political beliefs. That is what newspaper editorials and blogs are for. Having an FBI agent written into the story is NOT a valid reason to include the author's unproven allegations of corruption by real persons be a part of the story line.
Breeze, Brody, and Leap of Faith survive Hurricane Irma. The FBI recalls Brody to active duty in an attempt to insure her silence regarding some extremely sensitive political missteps taken by “higher ups” within the bureau. Does Brody actually return to active duty? I’ll never tell. You’ll have to read the book to find out.
On book 10 the story brings in some more (realistic) issues, Hurricane Irma, Breeze growing a bit older, feelings, always giving back and how the gov can screw with us if they want. Its going to take one heck of a boat to replace Leap of Faith. I could totally relate to never wanting to sail in the cold weather!!! Great job Ed, looking forward to 11.
Breeze has to be one of my favorite protagonists I'm currently reading. He never fails to somehow wind up in an amazing adventure. I love books that take place in the Florida area. Sometimes l wish I could give it all up and spend my life on the water in the Keys...
I love all the Breeze books. They are exciting to read, and love the adventure. I would recommend this book to beach people and boaters, those who like mysteries, interested in the law and romance. I'd love to be a character in one of the books. I hope the series never ends.!
You’re right about the politics- not my thing at all. I enjoy the Breeze books as an escape from reality so reading about current events and politics is not fulfilling for me. I loved the characters in this book and look forward to the next.
I'm disappointed in both parties so I escape by reading but understand politics are inescapably, nevertheless I enjoy Breeze and his adventures. Looking forward to your next piece Ed.
Another great Trawler Trash book by Ed. I liked the interjection of current politics into the story line. Can’t wait for the next book- he cannot write them fast enough for me!
Wow this book started out me thinking ugh but low and behold what a story kept me in this book for one evening and finished it in the night wow I'm impressed looking for more from this guy
The previous Trawler Trash books have shown an interesting progression in terms of character development, storyline and the personal growth/maturation of Meade Breeze. This edition seems like a major digression into paranoia and contemporary conservative politics. It’s a disappointment - oh well.
Another amazing story! I was surprised that the author intergrated current political issues into the storyline. I agreed with the political analysis but some readers who are mainstream media sheep might be offended.
It is difficult to believe that this story is a work of fiction! The details of the corruption in Washington politics is on target making the characters and plot all the more believable. Well done !!!!!!
Characters are coming along nicely, I hsve got to Google all these place Breeze goes to. I don't mind the politics much, but I wonder how they will rad 10 years from now
Well written and believable to a degree. I'm impressed with the writing abilities of this author, I never tire of reading the adventures and boat life. Been there and done that, brings back fond memories. Rock on
Stayed up way too late to read the series. But it's good to see breeze has admitted to a few years and accepted mother's warning to slow a bit. My best to Kim.
