Guys, if your dream is becoming a writer, don't give up, if the author of this book did it, you can too. This book was stupid, with no plot, useless characters, and in saying that I'm being nice. Sorry but it was a waste of time. At start I thought it could be a nice book, it had so much potential, but then with each chapter, I started losing any hope I had. It seemed as if the author didn't remember what she said in the previous chapter, and only had a vague idea of what the plot would be. It was like reading a soap opera with a bad acting, and full of improvisation. I don't know who beta readed this book for the author and I don't know who was the one who decided this story was ready to be published, but they were wrong. I don't wanna be harsh, to the author this must have been a dream come true, I'm glad for her, but she really needed someone to tell her, that this book wasn't ready and needed a lot more work. I actually can't understand how so many ppl voted this book 5 stars, I'm actually thinking that these reviews aren't so real. This wouldn't be the first time it happened on this site. Or maybe they were all written by the author's friends, or family, because I'm really trying to understand how someone could rate this book 5 stars, when I'm thinking about other books who barely get 5 stars and are real books, not fanfiction with an hint of romance. I say hint, bcs I never really felt any chemestry btw the MCs. I don't wanna waste more time in reviewing this, and well the bonus chapter, was the same.
• Billionaire who is Too Rich to …know how fast food restaurants work. Or what a hamburger is, and how to eat it. Or what a french fry is.
• Absurdly confusing plot set up:
Don’t get me wrong, I love my nonsensical totally not legal will stipulations about getting married or being in love or whatever, but this made less than no sense. They got married, which would theoretically give MC1 access to his money (millionaire), and then he’s also married to a billionaire…so he should be rich twice over, and yet is like a house slave? Or something, entirely subject to the whims of MC2. It made no sense why MC2 had so much power over MC1. Presumably MC2 also needs to be married to MC1 for Ridiculous Will Purposes, so why does he have all the power?
• Writing is awkward and stilted, information is given in fourth wall breaking monologues at high cringe levels. Things happen abruptly and again totally without logic. I stopped in the fast food scene, and I don’t know what was happening with the random passerby and whatever.
This book was horrible. I'm confused by some of the 5 star reviews. Nothing in this book made sense, and it seemed as if the author forgot what was said in previous chapters, or a few times, just a few sentences before. I thought it was going to be a really great read, till a few chapters in I had to question myself why I was still reading it when I had no clue what was going on because none of it made sense. Come on now, who buys plane tickets for their own personal jet, get for real. I actually feel sorry for the author, this book really needed an editor. Some of it I had to read a few times just to try to understand what was being said. As for the suppose to be witty banter, none of it was funny. The book had potential, but really needs a lot more work.
Oh my god, this book read like it was written by a fifth grader. I rolled my eyes at the cheesy dialogue and corny descriptions until I just couldn’t take anymore. I didn’t finish it because I just didn’t care what happened to these creepy characters.
I loved this book so much. I would stay up all night reading it, and I still keep re-reading it. It has a lot of emotion in it and I would definitely recommend this. This is probably one of my favorite books ever.
The story opens by stating Jace (aka the billionaire) is so well known he has a paparazzi following. In fact, their marriage is announced to the public via an unscheduled trip to a fast food resteraunt where they flash their matching wedding rings to friend while the rest of the patrons hang on Jace's every word. Riiiiiiiiight. Because the stalker-like followers described missed them moving in together, wearing said rings, and registering their marriage (which is public record) for nearly a year. The whole story goes on like that, it's just too outlandish to make it as a contemporary romance.
Okay. Yes, it's sappy, and a little PG, but who doesn't love a sappy love story? I find the premise good, but it could have been more. A little too "soft" for my liking, but a nice story none the less.
One of the things I really enjoy it was the fact that men people being gay it isn't a topic in this book. It was like a straight and normal realation, I thank god Krystel wrote it that way. As a being gay myself it's alwaays a hard time when you have to pass on situations when people have issues with your sexuality. Thankfully in this book non of it this happends. Everything went like a normal relation. I love that.
Even though there were time that I felt that things were happening very fast, I really enjoy this lecture. All the stuff that happends here were too fast for me some times. I really, really would like more "action" with these too if you know what I mean. The way Kei talks about Jace it make me feel jealous but some times grateful. I have a lot of mixed feelings with those two about all the stuff they passed through, but I realized that every relation ship is caotic in its on way.
I really recomend this book if you like drama, romance and really hot men.
When I first read the title " Life Sucks If You're Married to a Billionaire", I thought that it was going to be one of those cliche' kind of books. Where even though the MC hated the person they were married to they would quickly change there mind. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This book gave twists and turns that I didn't expect and ones that I sorta saw coming. The characters were well rounded and the way the book is written it made it easy for me to picture what was happening inside of my head when it was happening. This book is by far one of my favorites to date. And I have read lots of books about two people who are forced to Marry, yet this one is one that I will be glad to go back to time and time again for the simple fact I love the way Kei and Jace interact. Its to die for. If you're looking for a book with love and feelings then look no further. Krystel Grace is a magnificent writer who can evoke emotions through her writing.
No lie. I have no idea how in the hell this has an average of 3.9 stars in goodreads. And this is coming from someone who likes this book. Believe it or not.
This is a 'guilty-pleasure' book as I like to call it. This book is shit, but it's the type of shit people like me enjoy reading when life just keeps fucking us in the ass or if we need a break from books that makes us want to shoot ourselves.
And bonus points because the author is nice enough to upload every chapter on Wattpad for free. Without having to pay. Now, that's what we call a legend here.
This book was hard to read be cause it is not written in an appropriate American style. The grammar is not what we consider proper English. It reads like it was written by a child or a person who does not speak English as their primary language. I was not surprised at all when I got to the end and discovered the the author. The storyline was good but the grammar was awkward.
I was Curious about this book so I checked it out, and to my surprise it was really good. One of the best books I have ever read, I would read this over and over again. It is well written and I feel the emotions the characters bring out.
I love this book, yeah its cheesy but thats what makes it good. I loved reading this. My secret is that i read this before it was even published. And it was written back in 2014 but it has become a proper published book and that makes me proud.
The book had much more potential and I didn't like it in some parts. Kei was a little dramatic and childish in some parts and Jace was so mean and inconsiderate in others
